Crumbl - Oak Park

While our family are huge fans of Crumbl in general, our first stop into this location didn't pan out quite the way we've come to normally expect.We stopped in during a mid-winter, late Saturday evening that the Chiefs were playing, and picked out a batch of 6 cookies (nearly every cookie available for the week - which is a big part of the fun of getting Crumbl!). The weather was terrible, it was pretty late, and between those two items on top of the Chiefs playing, the city, and this bakery, were pretty devoid of life.I say all that, as I assume it may have had some bearing on the lower-than-usual quality of the cookies we took home on this given evening. Normally super soft, super chewy, and super duper amazing in every way, this batch seemed a little stale, possibly a little overbaked, and just not quite the quality of what we've come to expect at Crumbl. Were they terrible? Absolutely not. But, with the high cost per cookie, combined with their own reputation we have come to expect, we were definitely let down.Since we've had numerous servings of Crumbl from many different locations around KC and other cities, and they've always been incredible, combined with the fact that I can see this location has a good Yelp rating from fellow Yelpers, I'm chalking this up to an unlucky visit. If you're reading this review and haven't been to Crumbl yet, please see my other review of a different KC location! On almost any other occassion, Crumbl is one of our absolute favorite go-to's for dessert! These cookies are usually second to none, and due to the fact that they change their selection EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK., you can almost always find one or two flavors that are to your liking!We'll be back for another try soon!

First time ever visiting this chain. So you place your order and pay on the tablets. Then they prepare and call your name at the counter when it's done. Simple process. Everything was clean, well organized, and speedy. Staff were super nice! Also had me look over the cookies and went over it with me to make sure it was correct. Cookies were super good! Prices are steep, just my opinion. I ordered a chocolate milk and as I got ready to leave the parking lot, I realized I never received it. I went back in there to get it and the lady was very apologetic for the mistake. I wasn't mad because mistakes happen and she was super busy! She felt so bad about it she gave me a free coupon for a cookie, which I thought was really nice for just a simple mistake. It just goes to show this place goes above and beyond for customer service. So when I said it was a little pricy earlier, considering the customer service they provide makes me coming back for more cookies!!!. Great place and service!

Great treat for anytime. Love to pick these up when I'm planning a sleepover with my niece

Love this location! Cookies are always great! The employees are friendly and great! Can't wait to get some tonight for the fourth!

The cookies are large in size, priced at about $5 each. They are AMAZING! A box of 4 is about $15 and comes in a pretty pink box that would be great for any gift giving occasion.

Took advantage of the free chocolate chip cookie for the grand opening. Walk in & my will power was instantly dissolved. We got our free cookie AND each got another one. The chocolate chip was sooo good and warm! The cookies are a good size to share or to be a little selfish and eat it all by yourself!

LOVE this place always fresh. Sad when the warmed ones cool off ! But most of the flavors hit the they change every week.
