Crows Creek Campground

I can say that this is one of the best campgrounds that I have pulled into. Level sites, green space galore, quiet, people even keep their dogs on lead. Camp courtesy is everywhere. Showers are clean, toilets are well maintained and the lake is awesome. Close enough to Smithfield to be convenient far enough from your relatives to keep them at home. I definitely recommend camping here as long as you are a nice courteous camper

Other than being out in BFE. This campground has most of everything you would be looking for. Very spacious campground areas and very cheap. You can get an electrical primitive site for just $22 per night. Ask for a handicap spot and you will get a sheltered picnic table.Lake access from everywhere, a nice biking/walking trail. The showers and bathrooms aren't horrible like other campsites either. If this place had a pool it would be a favorite of mine to visit. However, it just has the basics.

Great camp ground! Green and clean, great space for kids, open space for frisbee, bike and scooter approved. Bring what you need. No shop for Misc. However you can buy ice and fire wood at the gate.

Very nice campground! Would only be better with sewer onsite and more sites with water and electricity.

I don't have much to compare it to because this is the only place I've been camping. I'm kinda a wuss when it comes to this stuff. I like doing pretty things, getting dirty is not on the pretty list. Well the first time I came, the bathrooms were super clean, I used the bathroom at around midnight and when I woke up at 7, someone had went through and clean the whole thing. It wasn't like that the second time I went but it wasn't bad. The campsite is clean and quiet. It's kinda out there but about 15mins away from a grocery store. There's a chinese restaurant near by that is good too, so I just get chinese food sometimes and call it good. My kids and husband likes cooking a hotdog over the fire so that's what they eat. We stayed in the unincorporated area for about $18/night. Not bad and kids have lots of fun :)

ACOE runs the lake and it's clean! Parks are fun for the kids, trails galore, and every opportunity to have fun on the water. 2 beaches and lots to explore.

Just because you make a reservation does not mean you will get your spot. Camp host said they can not find anything on the camper and they had not checked in. Then he said they have been there all week, seriously!
