Crestwood Flowers

Such a beautiful, inviting store. They have a huge case of fresh flowers to choose from, as well as a fair amount of gift items- greeting cards, books, etc. My daughter was thrilled that they have crystals for sale too- ranging from small rose quartz pieces around $3 to larger crystal encrusted rocks around $20. A lovely store to visit in the quaint, charming Crestwood Shops. A few years ago I reviewed this store based on their flower ordering and delivery system, and it continues to be top notch.

I've always loved being around the charming Crestwood Shops, just off the Trolley Trail. However, it dawned on me I've never really shopped at the shops, save a few experiences at their two restaurants. That all changed around Mother's Day, when I made my way down here and came away really impressed with this flower shop.I'm not the best flower-buyer out there. They all look nice enough to me, but I know both my mom and my wife have a keen eye for arrangements so it puts a little added pressure to get it right. Fortunately, they know their stuff here and I can sit back and let them work their magic. The florist who helped me was nice; I simply told them the amount I'm looking to spend, mentioned a few colors or potential flowers that I know the important women in my life would appreciate, and let them handle it from there. In addition to flowers, the place has a good vibe... gifts, cards, some sort of CBD sparkling drink for sale that I probably should've bought, and other goodies. For my money, the local florists like these are the way to go (I also like the one in Westwood Hills) for the nicer occasions. Sure, you can pick some up from time to time at the grocery store or whatever, but if you want it done up and done right, Crestwood scores some really high marks. Check em out!

Truly a remarkable flower shop, staffed by remarkably capable and helpful folks. Quality all around. The owner Ruth Ann is a pleasure to work with, but then everyone there is too. Always there are some unique things there that give one joy. And some of the best orchids in town!

I ordered a $50 "designer's choice" for my mom's birthday and it turned out GORGEOUS! She thought the bouquet was so beautiful and sent me updated pictures every day to show how it kept getting prettier. Crestwood Flowers is now my go-to flower shop.

Been here twice now. First time was redeeming a gift card I won at a silent auction to get a bouquet for a sick friend. Second time was for a friend who had a horrible week. Friendly, local, and smells wonderful when you're in there. Not my "local flower shop" but whenever I'm in KCMO it is.Reasonably priced.

There's nothing quite like having fresh flowers in your home, and while I'm no stranger to the florals at Trader Joe's, I find extra delight in stopping by this neighborhood shop - like I'm the Meg Ryan heroine in a Nora Ephron movie, nonchalantly stopping in and waxing on about how daisies are the happiest flower. My blooms of choice are fluffy, pigmented hydrangea but I just love perusing the refrigerated case at Crestwood Flowers to see what they have. This is a small, but charming shop with potted plants, gifts, and cards in addition to the fresh florals and arrangements they sell. On Saturdays, roses are $1 and I love to buy a bunch of these and scatter them through our house in bud vases. The owner is always friendly and perfectly helpful - she'll point out new arrivals or specials and then leave you be to make your decision. As you check out, you're invited to see back into their arranging space to watch new confections come to life. These are the types of stores I hope are around forever: neighborhood specialty shops full of kind people who excel at their craft. I have no doubt their special event flowers are fantastic, but my recommendation is that next time you're looking to give flowers as a gift, or fill your home with pretty blooms, stop by Crestwood Flowers and let it delight you.

I was in need of a quick stop for flowers for a special occasion. Using my trusty Yelp app Crestwood came up with a perfect rating and was on my way. I was greeted immediately by when I walked in and offered assistance (by the owner I believe) After explaining I needed a simple flower bouquet, we walked over to the coolers. I think she had me pegged the moment I walked in the door and she let me know that she just picked up tulips that morning. I love tulips. For me they symbolize so much and the perfect flower for a spring bouquet. She had a gorgeous selection of bright colors including two shades of pink. Perfect! I grabbed a bundle of each shade. I needed to travel about 30 minutes with the flowers and not thinking, I was topless. This posed what I thought would be a problem. I wanted the flowers in a vase. They were perfectly arranged and she found the perfect box to keep them from tipping over as they sat on my floorboard hiding from the wind. The flowers were a hit. Turns out the recipient loves tulips also. Crestwood helped start off what would be an amazing evening with the perfect selection. The lady who helped me goes to the flower market each morning to select flowers. I was very impressed with the service, the flowers, the location. Everything was just perfect making this my new go to flower spot! If you need flowers, you won't go wrong coming here!
