Covenant Cakes

I found this cake bakery quite by accident . This business is operated by two sisters in the basement of a church. I had an appointment for a cake tasting in preparation for my 40th birthday party. They were punctual and very friendly. The area is relatively small and dimly lit so I was skeptical immediately. That is until I saw the magnitude of what they can create. Everything from wedding, gag, children's birthday cakes - you name it they have it. They were able to create a mock up of the design I had in my head! As for the cake tasting itself. I brought along my husband and good friend. My husband's mother was a baker for years he is very finicky when it comes to cake and he was impressed! We tasted white, chocolate and lemon cake. They sent us home with a sample of Pink Champagne cake. The icing on the cake (pun intended) is the price points are impeccable - you absolutely will not find a better deal locally. Don't believe me, try it for yourself you will not be disappointed.

My sister-in-law used them to make a baby shower cake that was shaped as a whale! It was the cutest thing you've ever seen! The cake and icing were delicious as well. I'm using them for my son's birthday party now. Very talented!
