I don't know why I held out from visiting this gem for so long!I was super attached to the previous restaurant that was JJ's, and so the change was unwelcome. The hubby and I came for a quick dinner and ordered appetizer, entrees, and dessert.Their cheese Curds are sourced from the local Shatto dairy farm.... Thank God for those cows because those curds were something! My bacon burger was great and Hubby's patty melt was good........ to top it off..,..banana cream pie-yummmmm!My only complaint was there was no music.... Very quiet..... Maybe some 40s, 50s music??

Great food!! I've been here twice now and this place doesn't disappoint, the fries are the best in the Midwest, handsdown. Today I had the grilled chicken sandwich. ( Wednesday is chicken day for specials), so good!! Not dry at all.

Very good family restaurant. Not good if it's busy, not enough seating. Food is good and cooked to order. They will add or subtract items, no problem Staff is friendly and helpful.

This place is really good and has a great theme on the inside. I went here for lunch and it was delicious. I had a BLT with french fries and the bacon was nice and crispy and the fries were hot. It tasted fresh and I enjoyed it. The theming in there is actually really interesting. The tables are doors with glass laying on top. It used to be a pharmacy so they have a lot of the old shelving and vintage vibe. There are old pictures and even a partial wall made of just doors. It's amazing! I thought the service was great. It's not a loud place and I think it's a good place to bring the family. It's a cozy casual place to eat and I will come back soon!

Good food at reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere. Staff is eager to please. Very friendly. Hours have expanded. Excellent catering service. Chicken fingers are fabulous. Doesn't hold a lot of people if they are busy but is usually worth the wait. A restaurant with local ownership. Lunch and dinner specials. No it is not a 5 star restaurant but you can get wine, beer and liquor with the meal. A great venue for special parties.

Not impressed. Ordered the pecan chicken and it was a chicken breast deep fried with some pieces of pecan. The "marsla sauce" was poorly prepared, the sauce still had clumps of flour. The baked potato was fresh from the microwave. So if your in the mood for deep fried, dipped in butter and no taste. Enjoy!

I disagree 100% with the Gray Fedora's review. JJ's was EASILY the best restaurant Plattsburg would ever have. It was a huge contributor to our community and really CARED about their customers. The problem with Courtside is that it is not a burger and fries kind of place. This Plattsburgian doesn't want Creme Brulee, I want a good burger and a "thank you for coming." I want a place where everyone knows my name. This is not it.. they can keep their real steak sandwich. Won't be back.

We recently moved to the Plattsburg area and have been trying Restaurants close by. we went by this Restaurant a couple of times but it has somewhat odd hours 11-2 and 4:30-9 T-F and then 4:30-9 Sat, closed Sun and Mon. The inside of the restaurant is very tasteful vintage with old drugstore artifacts and wooden tables and booths. Very comfortable. We have been there 5 times now and the service has always been very attentive and friendly. The Chicken Fried Steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans was really amazing, the Spaghetti and Meatballs is very tasty with extremely fresh garden tomato mild marinara sauce and excellent meatballs. The Fried Shrimp with baked potato and green beans is excellent ,lightly breaded with great cocktail sauce. The cheese burgers are excellent and the Chopped steak is delicious to. I haven't tried the trout yet but plan to soon. I imagine just about everything on the menu is great. Someone really knows their way around a kitchen. A bonus is they have old fashioned ice cream sundaes, malts and shakes, as well as fresh home made pie. I am amazed that Courtside isn't packed every evening for dinner, truly worth the trip from any of the near by cities. The prices are reasonable to for full meals, with salad, meat, vegetable, potato, roll is typically about $10. Burgers $6 ish, Sandwiches $6 or so. For the price, selection, service and quality of the food Courtside is strongly recommended.
