Delicious treats! Some frozen pies to cook yourself later, but mostly ready to eat breads, pies and cookies.

We've been here a few times and EVERYTHING has been crazy YUMMM! Their fried pies are like a larger fruit empanada or a homemade fruit flavored donut, that is so buttery and tasty. Their cookies, breads, brownies and cinnamon rolls can't be beat! The sweetest Amish mama & her kiddos are the ones who seem to make and bake everything & they must sprinkle everything with love, because everything is delish! When you ask questions, they all want to answer you and ask you where you're from and make suggestions. It's so lovely. There's no doubt we'll be back again! If you are what you eat, then I'm a fried pie, cream cheese brownie, cinnamon roll! Hahahaa!

We stopped into Countryside Bakery just to peek around - and we walked out with our arms loaded with piping hot loaves and rolls.The cinnamon loaf was wonderful!The garlic cheese loaf smelled so yummy - we had to break into it on the ride back home. We also brought home a round of wheat dinner rolls.I wish we would have picked up three times as much - frozen it when we got home. There is nothing like this type of bread in our area - so fresh and tasty. Next time will be different - we will bring home lots more!Recommendation for your Jamesport trip: Bring a cutting board, knife, and napkins to sample this fresh stuff immediately upon return to your car!

This little bakery is located right next to H&M Country Store. Definitely stop in when you're in the area. They're a little outside of town, but worth the miniscule drive. Their variety of bread is unbeatable. We highly recommend their cheese bread...any variety, plain cheese, onion-cheese, garlic-cheese. Their honey wheat bread is also a great choice to nibble on during the drive home. We also make sure we grab a couple jars of their apple butter and peach jam!

Snickerdoodles like Grandmas used to make (no skimping on the cinnamon here), homemade blackberry pie, homemade preserves and relishes. Everything was delicious and very homemade. Tips - the do accept credit cards and they close early in the summer due to the heat. Come early!

OMG! Oh my golly! (Gotta watch my mouth! This is Amish country) this bakery has the very best jalapeño cheddar bread on the planet! And it's just not fair! There should be laws that restrict people from undo temptations! I mean really? Placing fresh baked bread on the shelf, hot with melted cheese and jalapeños. The fragrance of yeast permeating the air. I'm weak in the knees...I have to have it...to unwrap it...and tear it up! Lick my greasy cheesy fingers and sigh with pleasure! Then...buy another loaf. Cuz this baby is history! Yeah! I liked it, and you will too. They've got other treats, like fresh made pies, cinnamon rolls, doughnuts, and muffins. What ever your baked addiction, these lovely Amish bakers will supply your needs.

This is the best bakery I have ever been to. I've gone several times and was never disappointed. The food is absolutely amazing, seriously!

We came in for donuts but they were sold out. We grabbed some of their mini pies and I wished I had bought a few more! They are amazing! We also tried their cinnamon rolls and they are so good! Prices are very reasonable too!

Purchased 5 apple pies with 4 as gifts. Tasty, but worst apple pie ever had. After 2 slices, greater than 50% of bites did not contain apples. Threw remainder of pie away. Not interested in syrup and crust only. Quality control skipped a beat this time around.

What a nice little bakery in Jamesport. The staff is friendly as can be, and there is a pretty good selection of quality baked goods. The breads and rolls are all really good, but the pies are what I have to leave with every time. You'll notice right away how heavy they are when you pick one up. That's because they don't skimp on the filling. The blackberry and raspberry are my favorites. It's a good thing that I don't live in Jamesport because I'd probably have pie as my three squares a day if I did.
