Country Cookie

Country cookies is a long-time St. Joseph business that's expanded into the Kansas City area. The cookies are always tasty and fresh, and they offer a wide variety of flavors. My favorite are the Sprinkled Sugar cookies, which I order in batch and freeze so I always have them on hand. The employees are kind and are ready to help when asked. The icing on today's batch was a little more careless than usual. Overall, Country Cookies offers a really good product at a good price.

Better call ahead if you're looking for gluten free cookies (which are on their menu) because they do not always have them.

This place is junk. The price we paid for a birthday package and what all we had to bring and do. It was a joke. Never ever again. I would give zero if it would let me!!!!!!!!!!!!

My family use to LOVE Country Cookie. But this past year - the quality and customer service has seemed to completely plummet. My brother ordered cookies for my nephews birthday party. They didn't make the correct amount (a dozen short) and the design was completely wrong (he even showed them pictures). They didn't seem to care or even want to make things right (he had already paid for them). I stopped in for some sugar cookies a few weeks ago - I could tell they were old (or had been baked too long) and just didn't taste like they use to. Yesterday (7/2) they advertised cookie cakes for July 4th. I figured I would give them another chance!!! I just picked up our sheet cake. Look at the advertised pictures versus what they really have. "Nailed it!!" I have heard of many others having issues with their advertised cookies looking great! You then pick them up and they are 1/4 the size and taste stale ‍. I would rather go across the street to get cookies from HyVee from now on!

I saw an ad on Facebook a couple weeks ago for "Jersey" cookies - $17/dozen. I thought they would be perfect for my son's basketball team to have at their last practice. So I called and ordered 10 (8 kids, 2 coaches) when I picked them up today, she told me my total was $21.97 and I said "for 10 cookies?? That seems very expensive!" She tells me "well, they are hand cut" I proceed to tell her how on Facebook it says $17/dozen and she tells me "yes, it's cheaper if you order 12" I certainly wish someone would've told me that when I ordered them. I would've saved $5 and had 2 more cookies. Plus, I must say this girl was not the least bit friendly or apologetic!! She didn't even open the boxes so I could make sure they were correct, I did! Although the kids LOVED them, I will NEVER order from Country Cookie again. What a joke!

In a pinch, searching for help, I came across this wonderful company who was so willing to help with a special request from 2000 miles away. Tish was the lady who helped me. The cookies are fantastic and beautiful to boot. Thank you again.

Went to the new location in Gladstone. Cookies where dry and hard. Had no flavor, I was very disappointed for what I paid not to be able to eat them.
