What a beautiful store. We came here to enjoy some Waldo before we wandered to the bakery and did a bit of shopping. The pizza and the bakery did not disappoint. The pizza guy gave us some good intel on what to get and not get, and our pies were made perfectly and brought out hot to us. The bakery has a great selection of freshly made cookies, cakes and other fun items and they were all reasonably priced. I had a peanut butter explosion and the other ladies had some fun frosted sugar cookies. For me the cookies were too crumbly but they loved them. The reason for 3 stars was lack of customer service. I had to go to the front to get cups for soft drinks. The woman I approached didn't say 1 word to me when I told her what I needed. She just walked away to a register where she rang in my purchase. It would have been nice had she said, "follow me," or "I can help you with that." But i figured out what she was doing and paid at the register and then told her I had a problem. She said, "what?" with an irritated tone. I told her I needed the cups I had just paid for. Again, she walked away from me, apparently expecting me to follow her, and I did. Then she asked another employee to hand me the cups. The other woman did that and I thanked her. The cashier who rang up our few groceries was pleasant and the bagger actually joked with me, so at least I had that as I was leaving.

My favorite or top 3 grocery store. It's always clean and easy to get in and out. No huge lines, plenty of yummy prepared food (the salads, omg), good selection for groceries, fresh meat that is way better than say.. Walmart

I'd say my obsession with grocery stores started with childhood episodes of Supermarket Sweep, but nothing could have prepared me for everything you can find at Cosentino's Market in Blue Valley! This market has all the convenience and affordability of their other stores, but with a coffee shop, lots of seating for eating and meeting, tons of hot food bars and grab n go options, and an onsite restaurant!

I'll say, this might be one of the nicest, most daper shopping establishments in the city! It's squatty in places if you get my meaning, but what it lacks in height it makes up for in panache. Some of the best pateseries I've seen in a common hoi polloi market, I'll say. The deli section is second to none, and the meat counter is formidable with a capital F. Everyone seems well put together, and no one seems disenchanted by the long hours placing box on shelf, so that's refreshing. Albeit, their prices are of the posh variety if you can manage it, but, their sale ad is downright welfare at times! I believe I got my thanksgiving turkey here for a song and a handshake - while other establishments across the city tripled their admission fee for such a pleasure. I know what they're doing, I worked in retail before - and I dig it!It's not such a large place, but it's got the goods going for it. This place seems like the way grocery stores aought to be, in-line with the stores of the 50's where the meat guy knew when you'd get your bonus, and he'd have that ribeye ready to go when you walked through the door. It's a fancy dandy, and that's a refreshing take on todays drab disenchantment of gainful employ. I'll frequent often, and you can take that to the bank!

We call this place "the fancy store". Mostly it started with the 3 year old picking up on a comment that we finally have a fancier place to shop than the Walmart down the street. In reality, it is actually pretty upscale and fancy, for a grocery store. Besides just grabbing some groceries, there are lots of reasons to stop here, but the main one for us is the deli. After my morning workouts, I can grab eggs and bacon from the hot counter, and some veggies and cheese from the salad counter, and get a decent breakfast for $3. The family really likes the fancy cookies and cupcakes, and this is our goto place for any party goodies. They have an ok health food area, but one thing that is awesome is the grinder to produce natural nut butters. Grid up just enough for your needs, without wasting anything that you'd buy in larger jars.

Don't get me wrong, this is an impeccably clean, large, beautiful grocery store to shop in. It has beautiful produce, and tasty freshly made takeaway dips and small meals. There is a lot to like. What frustrated me on this visit was a lack of variety, and how long it took me to find what I needed. What I came to this store for was queso fresco. I was confident they would carry it as most grocery stores do these days - I mean, even TARGET usually has at least one kind in stock on any given day. I figured I could stop by this store on my way home from being out south and get what I needed to prepare dinner. During my queso fresco hunt I picked up some other goodies, but I started to get frustrated after checking both the pre-packaged prepared cheese section, and also the more speciality cheese section near the deli. I couldn't find it anywhere. My toddler was getting antsy, Karens were giving me side glances as I pleaded with her to stay in the cart, and I thought I'd go back through the refrigerated section with a fine toothed comb to see if I could count this trip a victory. Luckily I found it! It was with cured meats such as pepperonis and salamis, kind of tucked away in a random corner of the cold cases - nowhere near any cheese. Now, I'm so glad they carry this and that I was able to leave with what I needed but if you are looking for cheese, you expect to find it with cheese. I don't think I'm crazy. Even though it's a beautiful store after thirty minutes of cheese hunting anyone is bound to go nuts.

I love Cosentino's. Beautiful store, love the extra businesses inside -- Nautical Bowls, Starbucks and Waldo Pizza -- love the deli, bakery and other prepared foods. Fantastic produce and both specialty items and things needed everyday. Great for all our needs, plus a true community partner!

This is a great grocery store except for the deli counter if you go in and ask for sliced turkey, make sure you tell them you don't want it shaved because all you get is a wad of meat. You couldn't make a sandwich with it if you wanted to. Other than that small item, I highly recommend the store.
