Cosentino's Apple Market

Nice little friendly market that I had the pleasure of visiting after the fantastic sams mixup I needed some groceries. I found what I needed in this store including some sausage and granola bars. The ailes were clean, well marked with plenty of room. I thought it was nice to see a local independent market thriving. That made me happy to see.

I used to live in Raytown. I live in Shawnee now. I miss this small grocery store that is never that busy. You can run in and grab a few things, without having to fight a megastore.They have decent prices and a selection for the small size. I usually run by when I'm in town to grab a few things.

Living in LA it's hard to find a small neighborhood market. The Apple market in my mom's neighborhood is awesome. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And although it's smaller, they have everything you need and decent prices.

When I don't want to deal with large crowds I come here because I know I can get in and out pretty quickly. Out of the dozen or so times I have been here I only had to wait in line maybe once or twice. Cool right? Reason for the 3 stars is because a lot of the times the prices advertised aren't always what rings up at the register.

It's close to my house and usually I can be in and out in a matter of minutes. Lines are never that long. It's pretty clean as well. Average prices.

I like going to this store because it's small. But some of their over-the-counter medication is expired and still on the shelf.

Great spot to get everything you need! Also, if they don't currently have they will look into ordering it! Very helpful employees & very friendly. It is close to the house & very convenient. I think i would consider myself & the hubby regulars here!

This Cosentino's Apple Market is a convenient place to grocery shop, especially if you have just a few items to pick up and don't want to trudge through the giant Walmart even though their prices are usually lower. Check the weekly sales ads and you can save a lot on those items. The main thing is it is close to the surrounding suburban neighborhood houses and even though it may not save you money it will save you a lot of time.This location has a good produce and meat department and a deli, too.

I've shopped here many times but not again. Almost all staff are friendly and polite except for one young man that bags groceries. He's tall and combs his hair straight up with it being flat on top. No matter how many times I see and speak to him he just looks at me then looks away and has never once replied. That is rude and weird. Plus my last dozen trips there the music was very loud. It was hard for me to hear my friend 2 feet away and we both noticed that cashiers and staff at the checkouts were having to speak loudly to each other. This was three hours before their closing time. Management needs to be aware of staff actions and how loud music is driving customers away.

This is the worst store to by meat in. I have issues everytime I go there to buy hamburger. Today was the worst ever. They had a pound of hamburger that was completely dark brown sitting on the shelf. On it had a sticker for an instand .70 discount. It was disgusting! There was other types of meat that were brown as well, but this was the worst one. I once returned hamburger because the next day it was brown and smelled horrible!. The hamburger I did by today I though was ok when I bought it. I got home and opened it up and it was like they hid the old meat under the new meat. Save your family and never by meat from this place unless you demand them to open it to make sure it isn't bad. I took a couple picture of the meat. I also bagged the package up and left it on the shelf hoping people would stay away from it. Then told a lady worker how awful it was that they would try to con people into buying bad meat.
