Cornerstone Coffee

Such a cute coffee place in Smithville. I saw some people sitting on the couch and looks like there was a room in the back as well that you can sit. There was only 1 girl making drinks there when I went. Had to wait a few minutes.I tried a drink they had for Valentines Day and got a home made apple pie pop tart too. Really good. Will definitely be back soon to try other drinks.

A quaint coffee house in downtown Smithville. It is actually the only dine-in coffee shop in this rapidly growing suburb. i drove a few mile out of the way this morning before the blizzard warnings took effect just so I could have some time away from home before the travel advisories took effect. Was it worth the extra 10 miles north? Sure. Pleasant folks, a nice winter specialty menu, beans from Hammerhand roasters and lots of seating options in a rustic old brick building with small town charm. The large unmovable safe inside the building is an interesting focal point. I selected the Toffee Nut Chai off the seasonal and made it 'dirty" with an espresso shot. A great flavor blend and plenty of "zing" to get me back on the road and safely home before the lockdown began. Five stars for small town charm and a quality beverage.

I adore Cornerstone! The service is amazing and their coffee and pastries are really good! It's a quaint small town coffee shop with several places to sit. Free WiFi and a perfect place to work from. Support small, folks!

How have I not reviewed this before? Probably because I've been a sell out with scooters! But that's only because I really need coffee before I work, I work overnights and unfortunately you can't get coffee here at 8pm. BUT this Christmas season I stop in during the week as often as possible for the egg nog latte. They also have a butter beer latte and many others that are outstanding. They definitely make the best sugar free options in town but I haven't been minding my diet lately. The shop is adorable with big beautiful windows and the service is exceptional. The owner is such a sweetheart and 9/10 times you go she is working the counter. They have comfy couches and several open spaces for gathering with friends. I also see several people working on laptops inside. I wouldn't be able to concentrate on work because I always run into so many friendly faces to gab with.

Cornerstone is the best spot in Smithville for a relaxing day or to sit down and work on a laptop. I frequently have people meet me here for informal meetings. Friendly ownership and great coffee.

This place is awesome! Super cute with a very laid-back vibe. As a difficult coffee customer (I don't drink it that often, so I NEVER know what to order), I am always extra impressed when a barista can read my mind and choose for me. Leeah (I'm pretty certain of her name) did just that. I asked for "something sweet" and she made me a caramel frappe that was the best coffee drink I've ever had. It was the perfect flavor balance between sweet caramel and actual fresh coffee (a rare find in my limited experience). I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area!

The baristas at Cornerstone really know what they are doing. My choice is aways a hot latte, no flavorings and they are always great. Staff friendly and a nice choice of pastries. We drive from Parkville knowing we will get a really enjoyable drink.

This is the best local coffee and the owner is super nice! We will only come here for coffee! Highly recommend
