I'm a home mead-maker, and buy my bulk honey from Coopers direct in big buckets. As mead making uses a large volume of honey, this is a much more economical option than buying retail packaged honey at a grocery store a pound or two at a time. In addition to selling large quantities at their warehouse in Peculiar, Cooper's also distributes their local midwestern honey (sourced from Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, and Missouri) to local grocery chains in the Kansas City region as well. Cooper's is a small, local, family-owned and family-run business which provides good quality honey, both clover and wildflower - the wildflower is less expensive - and some specialty products as well. Their warehouse is based in Peculiar, but they do not have a retail outlet located on site. I've used their clover and wildflower honey and have found the quality to be very good for making my high quality meads and for general use as well. I'd recommend them if you need honey, and if you use large bulk quantities, you should give them a ring.

I was buying the smaller bottles of raw Coopers honey and I really think it is delicious! I am buying the 80 oz. jugs now. I use it on my homemade yogurt, and it tastes so yummy! I used to live close to Coopers but have moved to southern Missouri now. I was delighted to see that Walmart carries this brand!
