Mess with the wine, and highly recommend doing a tasting if it is your first experience here. They have amazing happy hours with a seasonal rotating menu. I was able to try a sangria flight and flatbread on happy hour which did not disappointThe risotto entrée I received was actually not great and the staff was kind enough to take it back for an equally mediocre plate. I have had the salads here and they are amazing, but both of the entrées I experienced my past visit lead me to believe I am not willing to pay $40 for a plate here again. Stick with the wine and appetizers and you will have an amazing experience (or maybe just an entrée that was different than the pasta or risotto!)

Our first time here as out of towners. Reservations were super easy. When we arrived the wait was minimal. We'll definitely have to wine taste the next time we're in town.We were seated in a quieter area overlooking the square. The rest of the restaurant was much louder. Our server seemed very busy with the full restaurant, but was very lovely. My mahi sandwich was delish. Fish was cooked well and the bun was nice and fluffy. Our several brought us delicious warm bread while we waited for our order. No one left hungry. Great experience!

Food is delicious and wine is fabulous. Conner is a great server and bartender. There are 2 things that makes this place horrible and lead me to keep going to Lee's Summit. One is the location of the wine tasting bar and the other is the temperature of the restaurant. Tasting area gets way too crowd and when it's positioned right by the front door it creates congestion especially if you're a member and picking up bottle. The restaurant temperature is FREEZING! Looking forward to the northland location opening soon!

I have to say this is a mixed review. Let's start with the good... we were a table of five and everyone got something different. The soup and salad combo looked filling and the tortilla soup smelled fantastic. I ordered the chicken Marsala and it was the best I've ever had. The lunch portion was big enough to take part home. The chicken Caesar salad was huge and filled with chicken. Romaine was fresh and crunchy. Now the bad... the restaurant had 4tables of diners. The music was too loud for a lunch meeting and service was SLOW. But.... I'll definitely be back for the Marsala.

Let me start by saying the food here was FU%#ING AMAZING. We had lunch on Valentine's day here with a reservation at 12:15. We expected it to be crowded and packed but it wasn't. We arrived and were sat right away. We grabbed drinks and ordered our food. (Not pictured) was the crab, lobster, and shrimp bisque, filet medallions, and red wine braised short ribs. Unfortunately it took over an hour for our food in which people sat considerably after us received food first so naturally we were frustrated. But the food quality makes up for it. The manager acknowledged the wait, apologized, and compensated us a drink and wine tasting coupon. Had we not waited it would have been 5 stars. Absolutely will return to offer another star for review.

Stopped in last night for some food before mini golf and the experience was mixed.I had made a reservation and showed up a bit early, no issues getting a table because the entire restaurant area was basically empty, but I noticed that as the night went on there were tons of people looking for tables and getting frustrated. I'm not sure if they were walk-ins or if the restaurant overbooked by counting the seats at the bar, but it seemed like a lot of people weren't happy with the seating situation. The waiter/bartender was very nice and helpful explaining the menu, but the first thing I ordered, a mushroom flatbread from the little seasonal menu, was somehow sold out at 7PM and he had to come back and tell me.I ended up ordering the Bruschetta and Short Rib Risotto but annoyingly both showed up at the same time, rather than as an appetizer and entree. I'd say that both were average. The risotto tasted good but there were parts that were clumped up, and there was an oil slick on the top from the meat. The glass of wine I ordered to pair with the risotto was good, it was a heavy pour too, and maybe that's all you should get at a winery if you want to be happy.
