Louisiana Seafood and Sushi Station are now both closed in their location in the strip mall at 23rd Street and Louisiana. Their successor is Concept 23 at 1606 West 23rd Street a few blocks west of the location of the former to restaurants. I will post a separate four star review for that new restaurant.

Now I am not one to use the word scam a lot. I am a serious yelper and customer, so I do take each visit seriously...especially when it comes to my money! Unfortunately I was duped into believing that the flyers I received in my mail a week ago were to a new hip restaurant in town. The title "Louisiana seafood" seriously had me thinking a new southern comfort restaurant had come to the Midwest and since I love southern cuisine, I just had to come and check it out. I was so convinced I was helping a business out, that I checked yelp prior to coming, so I could read some reviews. When I didn't see any, that made me more excited to know that I would be the first person to speak on it....Well, I certainly wish I could tell you that even though it was a scam to draw customers, but the food was worth it, alas I cannot. The food was greasy and bland and when I asked what the mango cake looked like, the guy goes to a refrigerator sitting near the register and pulls out this box of frozen little mini cakes cut up in squares. I said no to the "mango cake". Honestly I don't have a problem with a business trying to expand and appeal to another demographic all to make a living, what I do have a problem with is not making it clear to the public that's what you're doing. And I certainly have a problem with someone passing themselves off as a southern cuisine restaurant and all they are is a Chinese place who is just chosen to add thier take on it and call it "Louisiana seafood". Safe as it is to say I will not be back. Now that I know it's just a sushi place trying to pass themselves off as a southern restaurant , honey, you don't get my money being fake and phony!!!

Do not order seafood combos from here. Portion are a ripoff when I went in to pick up my food she hand me this little container that all I can see is broccoli and that not what I ordered 1/2 pound shrimp, with crab leg cluster, lobster tail, 1/2 pound of sausage, corn on cob, potatoe,for 53.99. I even gave a tip when I was going to go get the food. owner told me to call the police no refund so this business owner decided he was right and no food my family is still hungry and greedy owner still has my money, I have cancelled my debit card I don't care what I have to do I will get my money back.

Concept 23 - Nice staff, affordable food with tasty aroma, vibrant, eye-catching decorations. They have a nice menu with a wide variety of options. From appetizers to soups, drinks, and set dinner menu.
