Colonial kitchen feels like a hidden gem. I've only visited one time, but I've been thinking about going back every other weekend since. I got a quiche which was okay, but the coffee really stuck out to me more. The key detail here though is the outdoor patio overgrowing with beautiful throwing. This was the absolute best place for a cafe.

Things have gotten a little less polished since the last glorious time I was here, but it's still a lovely spot for a bite to eat after a long day of berry picking! The gorgeous garden courtyard is unmatched in peaceful ambiance - I could honestly sit here in the shade and breeze all day. My Cobb salad was decently good, with a tasty blackberry vinaigrette. You can tell the veg is grown right on site and is so fresh and good. My partner had the pulled pork and grits and really appreciated the savory flavor. The breakfast square was something I'd pass on for next time, but overall, an enjoyable visit to a lovely location!

Wow! We loved the lunch we had here! I got the beet salad. The lettuce and beets were so fresh, topped with local cheese, a tangy fresh apple cider Vinegarette and chopped pistachios. Delicious! My daughter loved the pesto flat bread, and another daughter said the 3 cheese grilled sandwich gets 10 out of stars. Hubby got the falafel sandwich and also loved it. Great atmosphere & service! We'll be back!

This place took over a great cafe with fair prices. We stopped by here for the place that was originally here because it had good food at fair prices. This is overcharged in the guise of farm to table style. The coffee was fine. We only ended up having a pastry and really regretted it because it didn't taste any different than other home made pastries out there--with the same wholesome concept. This is basically home cooking for the bourgeoisie. The pastry I purchased would typically be $3 and $4 on the high end but this was $6. It is sad what occurred to the cafe that was here because the nursery owner had capitalized on the established customers here in order to get them for this place.

My husband and I bought tickets for the Valentines Farm to Table Dinner for $160 from Eventbrite. We got to the kitchen for the dinner at 6 pm when the event started. At 6:30 pm we were brought biscuits. About 6:45 pm the salads were brought out. At 7:10 the appetizer came out. We did not get our dinner until 8:00 pm. And dessert came to the table about 8:40. The tables were set pretty and it looked romantic, however, everyone of us in this event had to have our coats on. The temperature in the restaurant was a freezing 68 for most of the whole evening. We wanted to do the wine pairing for each course and was charged $25 each for an additional $50 on to the $160 prepaid for the tickets. The staff was friendly but certainly didn't know how to wait on 30 people in the event. Supposedly the person who did the cooking was introduced to us as a chef. I wouldn't call him a chef but definitely a fairly decent cook. Everyone was told to tip our waitress $14 per person. We didn't tip that much due to such slow service. Every plate that came out were inconsistent with the portion and plating. My husband's salad had a decent amount of lettuce and 2 croutons, my salad had very little lettuce and 20 croutons. His short ribs had very little meat on his plate and the table across from us had so much more meat on his plate. We certainly won't go back to eat there again. The dessert was 3 chocolate dipped strawberries between the both of us with a little tiny cup of ice cream with espresso over it. Very disappointed in the overall dinner. Too overpriced for the dinner we had. The one good point of the evening was my husband and I had dinner together to celebrate Valentine's Day.

We were excited to bring the kids to the Nature Class as we awaited at the restaurant; regrettably, I'd imagined a sort of farm-to-table experience where children would learn some simple cooking steps. Regardless of my expectations, the food was subpar; I ordered the pulled pork sandwich (bread was yummy) but it was more of a tough pork chop that required knife & fork to cut thru. The side of fennel & pumpkin were passable. Hot tea (cup of love) was alright. My daughter's meal was passable, as well.Kids came back with a piece of construction paper. Next time, we'll pass and have lunch elsewhere

Food was delicious and it's nice if you can sit outside / on the patio. Way better view! Wish it was closer to my house, but you can't have everything you want... Wish I had taken a picture, glad I got out to try it.

Took my family here for lunch on Sunday for their Restaurant Week special. You would think they would put their best foot forward to draw future customers, NOT! Food portions were very small, and tasted lie QT grill food. $127.00 later, I was very disappointed. Won't be going back.

Wow has this place failed since kicking out Bean Counter. Overpriced, lower quality and creativity; sad to see what this once favorite local spot has become. Another case of short term revenue greater than long term customers/loyalty. My family would come here multiple times per week to enjoy the beautiful scenery with amazing pastries, local coffee and a weekend family brunch. Unfortunately with the Bean Counter out, I'll support other local businesses.
