Coleman Liquor

I have been here several hundred times over the last 20 or so years (maybe more) and I have never experienced anything negative. Always helpful, always friendly, and if they don't have what I need they can usually get it. Then they keep it stocked. I understand that once in a while things don't go perfectly, but I would rate them 499 out of 500....or maybe 999-1000. no joke....this is my "go to" place.

I disagree with the quality of customer service. The last 2/3 times I've stopped here i received unpleasant service. I don't know if they cater more to light drinkers but a case of beer and a bottle of captain silver isn't what I would call "some heavy drinking" as the cashier commented as I paid. Thanks for your .02c but you sell liquor not your opinion. The last time I came in I was rushed through the checkout because there was a "line", there was one person behind me. They didn't seem to be in as much a hurry as the cashier. There are liquor stores everywhere and people drink liquor so I'll find a liquor store with like minded cashiers who want to sell liquor in any amount without rush and maybe with a better attitude.

This place is a relatively small business but they have excellent customer service. Ray helped me find 3 bottles of wine as a thank you gift. He noticed I was wearing a Jayhawk shirt so the first bottle was a Riesling that had a Jayhawk on it. The person who received the gift was thrilled because she is a crafter & she could make a gift out of the bottle. The 2nd bottle was a Malbec & he gave me a choice in suggestion by him & price.The 3rd bottle I requested was a Kansas wine & they have a great selection of Kansas & Missouri wines. If this place was not 20 miles from my house, I would buying all my wine from here. Thank you so much Ray!

Great place to pick up various stuff at decent prices. The wine selection although small is crowded with great selections. Try the Argentinean Malbecs if you are into dry/earthy wines. they also seem to do a great job at keeping dos XX, Abita, and Becks in good supply.

A solid store in a convenient location, with competitive prices. The staff is friendly, but has never come out and said "hey, can I help you pick something out?". Therefore, it gets 3 stars because, really, it's an average liquor store. Which is a good thing, but not 4-star worthy. Nothing really sets this place apart from others...but that's not always a bad thing compared to some liquor stores! And thank god they got their parking lot fixed. It used to be that I would pull up and the front of my car would sink down to China.

Coleman Liquor is a great little neighborhood store. They have a decent selection of everything for a small store. I like that they are small and you are not overwhelmed with hundreds and hundreds of options, yet there is still good variety. They staff is always friendly and proactive in helping you find what you want. Many times I will tell them I am looking for something different, or an idea of what I want and they offer great recommendations and have even told me when I decide to try some things that I won't like it based on what I do like. I appreciate the honesty instead of just trying to get a sale. Their prices are good compared to other local liquor stores. The store is always clean and well stocked.

Staff is always pretty friendly and eager to make small talk. Has a very chill vibe to to it and it's cozy without being scarce in selection.

I only stopped in for some beer and a pint of Captain. My trip was quick and the K-State-sporting man behind the counter was super friendly. That's all I need from a liquor store.

Always great friendly service if I'm ever in the area and happen to stop in for a bottle of wine. Cheers !

Don't come here, if you're no a big spender they treat like crap and you get the second class citizen type treatment. And they are so judgemental. This the last time I'll be here. Their to many other places to go to instead of this shit hole and also it not even open on time
