CM Chicken

My friends and I tried out this Korean fried chicken establishment after getting recommendations from others and it was definitely a worthwhile experience. At this point, we tried few other KFC establishments in the Kansas City area and CM chicken definitely falls under my top 2.The flavoring was superior to others and with an unbeatable price, it would've been my go to location if I stayed longer in Kansas City. The only complain I have is the customer service. We went around usual dinner time; I'm assuming it was peak hours because the line was fairly long. The issue I had was that there was only one kiosk to order from and the gentleman working at the front just stood there. We were thinking "can he not take our orders as well?", I mean it certainly would've alleviated the long line. The food also takes a hot minute before it comes out & boba tea was sold out.The menu choices are broad & diverse; they have other entrees to order besides just fried chicken. The restaurant itself is very spacious with a lot of seating and have mini trash cans to deposit your bones & garbage. It was also cool being served by a robot that delivers your meals & drinks.Definitely will go back one day, hopefully they are able to accommodate orders better; it's such a good place with amazing food!

This place is definitely worth a try! I came on an empty Wednesday morning and got the honey garlic chicken with a thai tea to go. It took a while to come out but it was fresh and hot. It is on the pricey side but I think it's worth it for the quality of the chicken and seasoning. It's so crispy and seasoned perfectly. It comes with a dozen I believe. Ambiance is a large hall-looking area and has big TVs.

We came in on a Thursday evening thinking that we would get fast service. but they only had one guy taking orders and delivering food. he did have a robot buddy helping him deliver the food which was pretty cool. For some reason I ordered the chicken drummies plain, still don't know why I did that. but they were ok. my friend ordered the tenders, honey style which were really good. I also had the ramen noodles which was great. if you were to dine here, get the food to go or delivered. the ambiance was lacking.

This place is absolutely delicious! My boyfriend and I came for lunch one day and were overwhelmed by the options. The guy working was super helpful and great at guiding us toward what to order. We got a couple of our classic favorite things like boba (brown sugar which was delish) and tteokbokki which was SO GOOD and I was happy to eat for days after. He helped us pick out our wings and they were also really yummy. You can probably skip the crab rangoons here, as they did not really impress me and they have a lot of other things that look really good. They do have a little robot that brings food to your table, and a ramen bar!

I recently had a day off and decided on giving CM Chicken for lunch. The dining area was much bigger than I was expecting. I thought it was the order at the counter type of spot, but I was told to seat myself and someone came to take my order.I ordered the lunch special, selecting garlic soy chicken wings and fries. My order was delivered to my table about 15 minutes after ordering which was nice as I read a few other reviews before going and a long wait time was mentioned. The chicken wings were cooked perfectly. They were crispy and juicy, and I enjoyed the soy garlic flavor. The fries were also solid. I'll be back to try more options!

We were in town for a ball game, and my neighbor suggested we try this place out. He was actually just here yesterday. It's way bigger than I would have guessed. Super clean. Spacious. We were greeted right away and took a seat anywhere we desired. We were promptly attended to. The menu isn't all that expansive, however, the next time I return I'd like to try some other things we don't have this visit. On a recommendation from my neighbor, we tried the French fries. That sounds dumb, but we were glad we did. They were fried just perfect. Crunchy, not over-done.My son and I ordered tenders and wings with sauce on the side. It was a safe way to try several sauces without getting stuck with something we may not have liked. Both were very good. The breading was well done without being overly thick. But caution....these things are piping hot when they come to the table. Give them a few minutes to cool down or risk burning your mouth. The garlic soy sauce was very good. Their most popular from what I'm told. The smoky bbq is a special one they just came out with. It is very smoky, but good. The red hot pepper looks scary, and is their hottest, but won't kill you. Still packs a punch. And is also a new one not on their menu. We had plenty to take back to the hotel with us. Serving sizes are generous. We were impressed with this place. Service and food were both very good. I've read other reviews that service can be slow sometimes. I can see that may be the case if they are busy. But it was not busy when we went. Maybe 3 tables full. But we noticed they did do a fair amount of take out orders. If you like wings, especially Korean BBQ style, you gotta try this place. We would return if ever to this neck of the woods.

I was told by my friend that this is the best Korean fried chicken in the KC area, so I decided to give it a try since I happened to be around. I got the garlic spicy chicken wings and garlic soy gizzard, and the complimentary pickled radish. And this set was a haven (minus the beer) accompanied with the Korean drama I am binging. I like the garlic soy flavor better, because the spicy one was not spicy but was too sweet for me. Interestingly I could taste a bit spicy in the garlic soy gizzard. The potion is generous the flavor was good. But if it can be less sweet but more Korean spicy, it would be even better. The restaurant has a spacious room. But it is quiet today due to not much costumers dining in for the rainy day today. They prepare the food fresh, so it took a bit waiting time for the order to be ready. It worths the visit again for other items. Just hope other items are not as sweet as the garlic spicy flavor.

We ordered take out and our order was ready in about 20 minutes. We got the garlic soy and spicy garlic half and half which totaled to about $40. We had to drive about 20 min with our order so unfortunately, can't legitimately rate the crispiness. The chicken itself was tender and juicy, but I'm sad I didn't get to taste the crisp I wanted. We asked for pickled radish and they gave us two packs, which we ate all. They were just the right amount of sweet and sour. The reason I took off a star was because some of the juice spilled out from the radish and made the bag soggy, and although we ordered a whole chicken, they only gave us one chopstick and fork....come on at least put two.

This little known Korean chicken chain provides some of the best fried chicken in the business. The atmosphere is comfortable and the service is accommodating. The chicken is perfectly seasoned (just a tad spicy) and fresh and crispy.I recommend the "Snow Onion" (boneless or wings), as it is the best item on the menu. I highly recommend CM Chicken.

I have eaten CM Chicken in Texas when I was visiting my family and this one in Overland Park was a surprised! I never order the Snow Onion series before and I wanna say it was very delicious!We order our all time favorite Soy-Garlic flavor, the plain one and Red Snow Onion flavor. The Red Snow Onion was super full of flavor. It was so so good, I wish I have try it when I was in Texas!! I'm glad to try it!! The Soy Garlic are still my favorite!!! Hands down to CM Chicken once again for the delicious fried chicken wings!!! We also order fries and tteokbokki. A must try KFC if you love wings with an extra kick of crispiness.
