Chinese Buffet #1688

The food was good just it looked disgusting but tasted goodThe service was good they were kindAnd it was quiet and only my family and 1 other person

Well I passed up the hamburger place and the sub sandwich place and tried something different for lunch in Lexington- Chinese. While not stocked like a huge super buffet, they had my favorites including sweet and sour chicken, crab Rangoon, egg drop soup, fried rice, etc. I went back a couple times to try a few things. They also have unsweetened iced tea, and sodas too. Surprisingly good!

My brother and I ate there on a Tuesday night and when we walked in it was dimly lit. There were tables with patrons dirty dishes on some of the tables. The buffet has a cold bar for salads and a hot bar for: beef n broccoli, noodles, general Tso chicken, etc. and there were two pans that were completely empty. So when we got back to our table and started eating about 1/2 in I noticed in my general tso there was a LARGE CLUMP of HAIR affixed to my chicken. I told my bro I can't eat here anymore and as we got up to leave and he went to pay ($35 for a half a plate of food each). I looked around the room again and went to the bathroom and the bathroom had a nauseating sewer smell, and the tables near it had several packs of cigarettes on them seemingly from the staff as there were condiments and other items for restocking. You literally couldn't pay me to go back and eat at this place and if I could give it negatives stars I would. Perhaps the worst dining experience of my life. They happily took our money despite the horrendous conditions. I fee like The Health Department should be notified. It was that bad.

Although the buffet is closed, you can order off the buffet and have your dinner at home. The price is the same for kids and adults which is not what we like since or little ones eat very little food.

I give this place two stars because the lady that got our drinks was nice, and attentive. The food on the other hand, probably the worst Chinese I have ever had! There was not a lot of difference between the visual of the friend rice and white rice. Definitely no difference in the taste. Crab Rangoon was so hard (even the fresh) that I thought I was going to break a tooth. For sure was not going to scoop my ice cream from the tub. Who knows how many hands have been in there without gloves. Hot mustard was empty, but the generals chicken and cashew chicken wasn't too bad. We certainly will not be back.

This place was pretty good. At first We though it was small and might regret eating but the food was good and fresh even though only a few people was in there.

Buffet food was cold. I tried several items, they were all cold. The last bite tasted spoiled. DO NOT EAT HERE.

i asked for a small two cups of wonton soup,and the lady tricked me by saying they didnt have the small cups ,and so i was coaxed into buying the large two cups and they were $20.00 some dollars! Right behind near cash register was filled with a nasty stack of dirty dishes,they should have been out of view. Gross! Pretty restaurant otherwise.

Very nice people and food was hot and fresh. Could use a update to the table and chairs

as soon as we walked in the lady was sleeping in a booth. literally lying down and she sat up as she heard me open the door, just looked at us and we told her we were six and she looked like she was still wanting to sleep. talked to us very quietly and slow. we went to go get our food and everything looked like it was from the night before and all they did was turn on the lights to get the food warm. the food had no flavor and it was all cold, hard or dry. came to try out out since we came once when wentworth was still open (wentworth alumni). tasted nothing like before. a lady also walked in about an order she did (over the phone i'm guessing) and as she walked in the lady (that was sleeping) asked her what she needed and she told her she was there for an order pickup then the lady mumbled at her, went back to her booth to sit and eat her ice cream (whatever it was) and have her drink. the lady stood there waiting, i'm sure wondering why the lady just sat down. then a guy came and gave her her stuff. Our drinks were also really watered down, pretty upset about the mellow yellow tasting exactly like the sprite. never the one to leave such a bad review but this was not a great visit. all the food was cold and tasteless.
