China Gourmet Buffet

This is the best Chinese buffet I have ever eaten at. Very clean and nice people. All the food is kept full and hot. Lots of choices. One of my favorite items is the many flavors of ice cream. The appetizers were excellent as was everything else. I really can't say enough about the food. After you've eaten at so many bad Chinese buffets you hesitate and wonder should I even go. Yes, go you don't want miss out on this one. It's about an hour from me but worth the drive.

I stopped by the China gourmet to grab some takeout that consisted of chicken and broccoli and house fried rice. The chicken and broccoli was good, I appreciated the crunch on the broccoli. I feel like the rice could have been more flavorful. there certainly was enough food, I think I ate it for 3 meals.

It's a buffet for crying out loud. The peel and eat shrimp is tainted and too soft. The hot sour soup is not hot. Most fish f the food on the line is cold or has set out to long . Most of the reviews are probably from the owner or someone who works here. This is not gourmet at all. Everything on the "hot" side needs replaced . What a disappointment, can't find a good Chinese buffet anywhere.

I ordered General Tso's Chicken. It was disgusting to put it mildly. It was just fried flour covered in the Tso sauce. I could only eat about 3 bites and had to throw the rest away as it was inedible. This was my first time ordering from here but I'll never order again. Also the Spring roll was barely cooked and the crab rangoon was burnt. And the cost for duck sauce and homemade mustard was exorbitant. Other Chinese restaurants give it for free with the cost of the meal. I do not recommend.

We were in the area, hungry needed something quick. Went in walked right back out. Old food sitting in a very very small buffet island. No way!

It was good for the price had lunch Buffett we were happy with it. I felt the food was fresh as we were there close to opening. Would go back

Best deal and plenty of delicious good food for college students and teenagers!Don't know how they make money, we ate so much?It's a mom and pop store by friendly old couple. Ordinary decoration but we come here only for good food! A lots of delicious food and best price !

Have only been here since the pandemic and has all been to go. We have enjoyed just about everything we have tried and it is affordable. They are very quick typically 5-10 minutes for food for 1-2 people. The daily lunch/dinner specials are what I always order it's the entree, fried rice, egg roll, crab Rangoon (and soup if dinner) for a good price. I am not big on plain fried rice so I usually get white rice instead. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a typical Chinese takeout!

Very good Chinese Buffet in a non descript strip mall. Lady waitress/owner was very nice. Good options of food

To be hones, I just plugged in "Chinese Buffet" and gave it a chance and was pleasantly surprised. I read the reviews and I agree. The food is very good and at a good price. Though I don't agree with the General Tao Chicken comment.I had some off the buffet and it was exellent. I am afraid that people have become too use to processed food and expect General Tao Chicken to be store bought chicken nuggets covered in sauce. Just like the sweet & sour and the spicy chicken, it appears to be chef prepared, cut chicken breaded/floured and fried. The egg rolls also had a hand made appearance. I guess not what Americans expect, but a pleasant surprise and a delicious meal. The hot & Sour soup was also a delight as was the white rice - sticky as it should be, but also not the usual mass that feels like you are scooping clay or ice cream. Don't be fooled by the humble surrounding, great food at a great price.
