Had an absolute blast!!! High Energy yet at the same time chill enough to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed!!The energy of this stadium when the game is about to kick off brought me chills!! The chanting and rumble and passion! What a great time!

A good environment with great fans and solid concessions, although there are safety concerns with the plastic seats and there could have been better customer service. I recently went here for a game with some friends, and when one of my friends sat down on the seat, it broke . When my friend went to mention to customer service, they told him that the stadium is 14 years old and this is not an infrequent occurrence (which my friends and I found appalling). This is a huge safety concern-fans could get severely hurt if they fall due to a broken seat and the response from customer service was callous. While they fixed the seat immediately and gave my friend some Sporting merchandise, they should have offered to compensate him for his ticket. I expect Sporting KC to provide a better customer experience and ensure basic safety.

Clean and friendly staff, seating was very clean, bathrooms spotless, not very crowded which I am extremely impressed!Prices were average for an event and I was a bit disappointed considering I had a smaller than required bad that was completely see through yet I had to take everything out. Ridiculous!!! I had four items they CLEARLY COULD SEE!!! Keys, wallet, lipgloss, glasses!! I am only giving such a high rating because of the cleanliness and the small crowds..: I feel like the digging in the bag was a bit much! But I guess my tiny lipgloss was threatening:((((

I'm not a big soccer fan but the electricity of this park wins me over every time I go here. They offer FREE parking in the orange lot, but you must shuttle in or walk. My advice - walk it in. The wait is too long for the shuttle.Once inside it's easy to find your seat and start enjoying the game. Even on a warm evening, it feels comfortable inside. And the atmosphere of the crowd keeps you focused on the game. I've been to Arrowhead and the K and always thought the fan base hits differently here. If you haven't, check out this park at least once.

As I've recently got into soccer more....probably because of watching Ted Lasso, my knowledge of soccer stadiums/fields/pitches...whatever they're called is extremely limited. This was a great starting point for me. (It might've helped that I was in a suite). The regular seats below looked pretty fun, so maybe next time. Watching and hearing the crowd was its own separate experience. These people are really into this sport!! How did that guy sneak in a whole drum set? I had to take off my hat just to get in. If you like people watching first and watching sports second....this is the place for you. Not as drunk and rowdy as a Chiefs game, just some really exuberant fans who love the sport. The stadium itself is very well done and has a big feel when you're inside even though to me, it looks small from the street.

I got the opportunity to go see the KC Current women's soccer team in action. This was my first time at the stadium, it was super easy to navigate and the staff was very friendly and helped me find my group after getting lost. I was up in one of the suites and the view was amazing, I was basically midfield. We had AC in our suite with glass doors so you could see out or you could also go sit out in the private outdoor seating area where you could view everything even better! This experience already has me wanting to go see another game and show support to our local professional soccer teams!

Step into Sporting KC Children's Mercy Park and prepare to be immersed in an exhilarating soccer experience! This stadium truly knows how to create a fun and vibrant atmosphere that gets your adrenaline pumping from the moment you step through the gates. And if you're lucky enough to have tickets to the legendary Cauldron section, you're in for a treat. Before the game kicks off, take advantage of the fantastic perk of scoring $3 beers. Cheers to an unbeatable deal! The stadium itself is a sight to behold. Immaculately maintained, it provides a fantastic setting to enjoy the game. One standout feature is the availability of free parking and a convenient shuttle service to transport fans to and from the game. It's a thoughtful touch that enhances the overall experience and eliminates the stress and annoyance of finding a parking spot and having to pay for it!However, it's important to note that if you're seated on the side area section of the Cauldron, you might encounter some seat-saving challenges. Some fans can get quite belligerent when it comes to claiming their spots, which can be a downside if you prefer a more relaxed seating arrangement. The Cauldron section, while known for its energetic and party-like atmosphere, can be overwhelming for some. The constant chanting and passionate support might be too intense for those seeking a quieter experience. However, if you're a die-hard fan or thrive on the energy of the crowd, the Cauldron will be your haven.

What Yelp says, 5 stars. Man, this is about the coolest sports venue I've been to. I like it better than Royals stadium, better than the Chiefs, better than the Sprint Center (is it still called that?), and light years beyond that thing down in The Stockyards that no one, me included, can remember the name of.Came for a Current game and am now a total fan of the team and admirer of the park. It's just a great location, a great overall experience and more fun than you can imagine. Hope to return to the next Current game, may even tailgate it with friends, and why not? After the game, lots of places nearby to grab a bit, exactly what we did last time.Oh, if you come, ladies (or guys, if you carry one...), leave your purse in the car unless it's really small. We didn't and were pretty shocked that we couldn't enter with it. Same with backpacks, etc. Yes, you will pass through a metal detector on the way in, so metal flasks are park of that no-no, too. You've been warned."Kay-cee Bay-bee!"

It's not very sporting of me to write this review, but here goes anyway. The soccer specific Stadium where you can find this excellent KC team playing generates a great atmosphere and it's a credit to the community. It's Childrens Mercy Park, and it can hold about 20k people, usually sold out, and always one of the loudest in the league.Sporting Kansas City is one of my favorite teams although I always kinda miss the Kansas City Wizards. More successful since changing over to Sporting, they've been going from strength to strength as they say, so I guess it worked out well for them.Kansas City has an unbelievable amount of success going for it and I've been a big fan for a long time. They've been nothing but amazing in terms of their NFL win and the baseball win and I'm delighted that their soccer team has done well as well. And in terms of location, it's a little out of the way out in Kansas, but in terms of the stadium itself, it's one of the very best 5 in the league, maybe up there with ATL, Portland, LAFC and Minnesota.
