Chiefs Fit - Overland Park

I've been in the parking lot since 4:50 AM. The gym opens @5am... or should open at 5. It has not been opened, and now it's 5:30 and still not opened. No one can get a hold of anyone- we've tried reaching out to someone at the plaza location. There were probably 30+ cars here trickling in between 4:55- 5 and cars are leaving now.... So incredibly disappointing considering some people can only work out early not to mention everyone's been awake to workout. Inconsiderate of people's time.... This isn't the first time it's happened but this is just bad now that it's been over 30 min.

I dropped in for a bootcamp class that consisted of 30 minutes of spin and 30 minutes of weights. The class was mediocre and felt there could have been more energy from the instructor. Chiefs fit is your typical big box gym but with Chiefs logos and themed. They have a lot of amenities but just isn't my style. I didn't feel engaged and it wasn't very personable.

I was so happy when visiting Chiefs Fit in Country Club Plaza! The facility was huge and has so many accommodations. All of the machines were clean, the staff was friendly and it was a great atmosphere. I am excited to come back and train here next time I am in KC, MO.

This is an awesome gym! I love the ease of scanning my phone via Chiefs Fit app to enter. The staff is friendly and it's always clean! There's a great selection of machines and amenities. 10/10 - wish there was one in Lees Summit also!!

The GM at the club has no accountability for his actions. He also lacks follow through. The club didn't open on the Morning of 04/03/23 because he failed to come open it.

Very clean, newest equipment in town, best price for what you get too. Great atmosphere compared to other facilities in the neighborhood.

Perfectly great gym, isn't too expensive, has all the necessities and usually isn't too crowded; however, it's always too loud in there. They turn the music up to 10 constantly. Basically your ear damage equivalent of going to the club every weekday. I had my earbuds in on 9/10 and I could still hear their music. Other than that, id say it's the best gym in the area.

I like the gym, I hate the parking garage, I do not like there's no restroom located on the gym floor, and you have to go downstairs to the locker room to use the restroom. Nick Deason Fitness Manager is EXTREMLY rude and racist in my opinion. I almost cancelled my membership due to his attitude. One Saturday I was working out on the rooftop gym and Nick came up there with a lot of ladies he was teaching a class. (it was also raining) So he comes up to me and asks me how many sets I had left I asked why he told me about the class he was teaching I said no problem I'll stay in my little section and stay out of the way. He proceeds to tell me he is using the entire turf, and he needs all of the equipment. I moved the equipment I was using to the side away from the class but still under the covering as it was raining and finished my workout. The way he spoke to me and was pointing like I am a child is UNACCEPTABLE. I stayed upstairs for the entire class, and I noticed he NEVER used any of the EQUIPTMENT that I was using. So yes I loke the gym it's nice and clean but I would never try the personal trainer due to my experience with Nick Deason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this gym is great. good community and great equipment and has great lighting. There is a turf area that is good for training.

this gym is great. all the equipment you need to be successfu. very clean and love my workouts.
