Cheesy Street

Anytime I see that the Cheesy Street truck is nearby, I have to stop and grab a grilled cheese. You can also get any of the listed combos as Mac and cheese. And you can also customize so you get exactly what you want. Even Vegan and gluten free options are available. On my last visit I got a grown up grilled cheese. Which is basically just your simple grilled cheese but with provolone and cheddar. I added bacon and a fried egg, pickles on the side. If you get a grilled cheese, you also get to pick a side. Most have a slight up charge. I went with the tomato basil soup. The grilled cheese was delicious. It was like a breakfast grilled cheese and hit the spot. I was a bit skeptical of the soup because it came out looking like salsa and had the consistency of marinara sauce. The flavors were wonderful. Super fresh. I don't know that I'd consider it a soup but it was super delicious, accompanied my sandwich perfectly, was great for dipping, and I'd get it again.

I opted for the grilled cheese and added bacon. For the side, I went for Mac and cheese. The grilled cheese was amazing. Buttery, gooey and stuffed full of crispy bacon bits. If I were rating on the grilled cheese alone, it would for sure be 5 stars.I was SO excited for the mac and cheese because it's my ultimate comfort food. Sadly, it fell short for me. The cheese sauce was just globbed on top - not mixed in. When you dig down an inch there was only buttered elbow noodles. I expected well-sauced (and mixed) macaroni and cheese - bummer.

Look for this delicious food truck around KC! Latest place I caught it was at Boulevardia with a non-stop line worth waiting for. I opted for the bbq pulled pork Mac n cheese and my friend got the grown up grilled cheese with chips on the side. It was enough to fill us both up. There were plenty of flavor options and they offer vegan cheese.

Delicious food! The cheese on the loaded fries was delicious and tasted homemade. Lots of different ways to eat cheesy Mac or a grilled cheese. Great for adults and kiddos!

There's not a lot wrong with a fresh, gooey, buttery grilled cheese on Farm to Market sourdough... But this is next level. We got the Buffalo Chicken (bleu cheese, provolone and cheddar), and for a little balance, the baby carrots and hummus as our side. And then because... I couldn't resist... We got the Fluffernutter on Cinnamon Swirl bread. *Droooool*I might have to stalk this truck. We caught them outside Mean Mule on a Fall Saturday.

I love cheese go Wisconsin, Swiss and mozzarella. That's not the same as 9th and SoutherLand but...there are more cheeses to be had than the ones I can find in my mothers drawers'.

Our neighborhood had a block party and Cheesy Street catered. What a wonderful idea. They have so many different variations of a grilled cheese and you can even customize your own. All are served on sourdough bread. My daughter had pesto and tomato on her's. I had the Cajun Chicken. I was worried it would be deli meat so I asked and boy was I wrong in my assumption. It is chicken thighs that have been simmering in a crock pot all day long. Delicious with the jalapeños. I used vegan cheese to avoid the dairy. On that note not only do they have a variety of cheese and vegan cheese they have a gluten free bread as well. Numerous toppings to customize and then you get to choose a side of delicious tomato soup, carrots and ranch or chips. I loved dipping my sandwich in the little soup cup. And to top it off they are so friendly and patient. But before I go, they also have three desserts. The nuteller is Nutella and PB on cinnamon bread and it is heaven although very messy. They have another option with just nutella I believe and then chocolate chip cookies. All great prices. My meal was only $9. Very fresh and they do seasonal specials.

BIG PIG. ENOUGH SAID. These people do comfort food right. This truck and some wonderful ladies in it came by my work, and I hope to see them every week. High quality ingredients you can taste, they make their own pork belly jam (sounds weird but it's AMAZING), and it's just good!! And with options for sides like fruit and carrots, I feel like I'm not cheating SO hard ;) But in all seriousness, wonderful, beautiful ladies working in there, and really amazing food. I hope to see them again very soon.

It was way too spicy. If I loved spicy, it would be delicious. Very cheesy but I couldn't handle the spice and they didn't advertise spice. I asked for a refund. I was told no but she was willing to make me a different item. However, if the mac n cheese was spicy, I figured it would all be so I didn't see the point.

Online it says they are open 24/7. Drove 20 min and NOPE nothing is even here. Place claims that they are open but don't believe it. There isn't even a truck near by the location they sent us too.
