A great way to keep kids entertained for 2 to 3 hours. Sundays you get $3 off each pottery if there are 3 or more in your group.Ceramic selection starts at 12.50 or 20. Mugs are more expensive eh.It was really fun painting and designing our ceramics. After 4 days, you can pick up the finished product which looks even better than expected. I felt like Yayoi Kusama. My nephew loves his . He made sure to place it on his mum's work desk as soon as we got home.

The ladies were SUPER helpful since it's kind of a unique process. They would stand there and brainstorm technique ideas with me to achieve a certain look, which I loved since I'm a ceramics newbie!! We really appreciated all the options too - both in colors and in items to paint.Plan for at LEAST an hour or two, unless you're a speed painter!

This place is super cute, and a fun spot to create art for any age. I visited for a four year old's birthday party recently, and thought they did a pretty good job with managing a bunch of small kiddos in a tight space. Every kid got a tile they could decorate, then it would be fired, and the parent of the birthday boy or girl gets to bring them all home to distribute when they are ready for pick up. I have to say that I was really impressed with how our kiddo's tile turned out. The only reason I'm not giving a full five stars is simply because there was an employee there that that day that made it pretty clear she didn't love that there was a birthday party for small kids going on. She kept aggressively staring, moving folks back to stay within the "lines" of the party space, and overall just made folks feel unwelcome. The gal who was running the party was very sweet and kind though, which definitely balanced it all out. My recommendation is that if you are going to offer parties for small kids, then to expect what small kids bring with them (volume, spills, etc.). This was a small group, each kid had an attentive parent, nothing broke, and nobody was out of line, so I just didn't think her attitude merited the obvious distaste she had for our group.

FPO and I are celebrating Spring with a 4-day weekend, exploring Kansas. We found Ceramic Cafe on Yelp and decided we had to give it a try. For just two of us we walked in but they recommend for larger parties to make reservations. It was pretty empty when we arrived a little after noon but filled up quickly as the day progressed. They have walls full of different pieces to choose from. I saw things from around $10 and up. You pick your piece and then see one of the employees, who'll help you pick out paint colors. Once you finish your piece you pay at the register. They glaze and finish your piece in the kiln and you pick up your masterpiece in about 10 days. The shop was airy and colorful, the people were nice. It was a lot of fun

If you're looking for it and fun thing to do with girls, kids, family, or on a date, I would highly recommend ceramic café. This is a great spot to paint or take a class with ceramics. It's a super relaxing activity and something fun to do out of the usual. This place is priced very reasonably to other ceramic businesses in the area.Parking it is very easy to navigate. There is a lot of room inside for guests. Ceramics are able to be picked up in a timely manner. We just picked ours up a couple of weeks ago and everything turned out amazing highly recommend.

A friendly place to come paint something totally unique. I've painted pottery a few times before and brought a friend who had never tried it. The staff were all delightful in helping choose colors, understand what things to avoid and suggesting techniques and the right tools to achieve what we each had in mind. Smocks to protect your clothing are provided. There's several huge racks of plain pottery pieces to choose from (expect to pay $28-40 for most pieces like mugs, bowls and small plates and up to $60-$80 for bigger pieces). The price you see includes the studio time and supplies needed to paint (. Even if you end up coming more than once to complete your project). You can also try glass fusing or painting stoneware. There's a private party room at the back and the crowd of kids back there when we visited were having a great time. No hesitation recommending this place.

I went here on a Sunday to work on a project for a Christmas gift! I had never been here before this visit. The employees were super friendly and helpful. They explained clearly what to do, and informed me of how the entire process would work. They answered any questions I had and made everything super easy. The store is clean and has a great selection of pottery, paint, and supplies to help with your creation. Highly recommend!

Ceramic Cafe is a fantastic place for your next family outing, group activity, or even date night. The staff was super kind, knowledgeable, and helpful to our 11 person group. Any age and skill level is welcome. First, they seat you at your table. Then you pick out your piece. There is a ton to choose from, bowls, plates, serving trays, mugs, cups, pots, figurines, piggy banks, and on and on. Then you write your name on the bottom with a special pencil that stays during firing (even if you paint over it). Then you choose your colors, the staff will get the colors for you. They also have special speckle and glitter paints. Next you can outline your design in pen, not pencil. Pen disappears during the firing process, unlike pencil which will still show up after firing. Then you paint! They also have special detail tube paints for lines and writing. If you're a serious painter, bring your own brushes and tools as theirs get used by many people and wear out quickly. After painting, the pieces are ready to be picked up in about a week. Walk-ins are welcome, but call ahead if you have a group of 6 or more. Our group stayed for over 3 hours and they did not rush us or kick us out. Ceramic pieces range from $10-$75 (most are $16-$25), but unlike other ceramic paint places there are no other studio fees! Specials are listed on their website. We didn't do any glass fusing, but they have that too! They also offer all kinds of parties and even off-site painting (they will come to you)! On-site parties are welcome to bring any food or beverage too. Great location. There is plenty of parking. It's also only a 6 minute drive from Jack Stack OP (and many other restaurants nearby too).

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Today was going to be a special day for me to spend time with my girls and paint as we've never done this together. But this place is not friendly and they tell you that you can have a table and to go pick out what you want to paint while they clean it for us, only to discover that they gave our table away to someone else and there's no tables left! When I asked the lady setting stuff down our table if she was sitting there and she got snotty. This is NOT a friendly or positive place to be, they need to work on improving their customer service and getting organized with customers and marketing tables as reserved once they tell someone they can sit there. Nobody should be treated like we experienced today, it's only ceramics and paint! We decided to leave.
