The service was quick, no complaints about the staff. They served the bottled beer in a coozie which is a nice touch. Overall ambiance was nothing to write home about but the outdoor seating in front or back was a perk. The food was okay. We got a corn dog, tater tots, and nachos. The tater tots were standard. The corn dog was good size & you could tell it was battered there which we liked. The nachos were terrible. They're "trash can" nachos but the cheese sauce was on the very bottom which didn't make sense. Not very many toppings at all - We got a sprinkle of pico & 1 sliced jalapeño on the entire nachos. lots of plain chips & the chips weren't that good either. They do not have salsa. We added chicken which cost extra but it had no flavor and was in way too big of chunks.

Cool little sports bar in the middle of downtown Liberty. Nothing special to write home, but there is something on the menu that makes this place stand out to me. Eaten at numerous grills and restaurants in the KC area and this is the only one, that I've run across, with a true Nashville Hot Chicken. Not just a Nashville Hot Chicken in the terms of the breading or the way it's cooked such as what 'Mother Clucker' sells, but a true Nashville Hot Chicken with the sauce and everything.Being originally from TN, it was nice just to randomly see this item on the menu. Now if I ever want to grab a bite that is reminiscent of home, it's nice to be able to grab such an item from Catch 22.

In honor of women's history month and international women's day, we dined here with my in laws who recommended the place. Catch 22 is owned by a woman, Kelly, and run by women. Everything is made from scratch so food comes out a little slower. Sam, the bartender and only server who takes care of serving people, puts your beer in a coozie. The bar is on the liberty square as you walk inside there's a beautiful wall of exposed brick. The place is outfitted with Chiefs and Royals memorabilia and TVs making it a good place to watch games. We started off with the spinach dip. My in laws split the breaded pork tenderloin, I had my own but took the other half home to enjoy for another meal, and my husband had the Philly sandwich. The only pic I got was our leftovers I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner any day of the week!

So, I made a little trip over to Liberty Mo tonight. You see I had heard that there was a new sports bar that had opened up on the square about 6 months ago. So, I thought I might give it a try. And give it a try I did! As is typical of all buildings around the square, this is a brick buildings from the turn of the century and I'm talking about the 19th to the 20th century. Rustic yet inviting, I walked in and sat down at the bar and no sooner was I in that seat when the bartender asked me what I wanted to drink I asked for a draw and they didn't have draw beer so I settled for a bottle. Well they don't have the largest menu in town, but they had several items on it that caught my eye. The one I went with was a tenderloin sandwich, so I ordered the tenderloin sandwich and for an upcharge got onion rings asked for all the trimmings on the side which they gladly did and sat back and waited while sipping on an ice-cold beer! It wasn't long before they brought out a tray full of food that made my mouth water. I took a few pictures and munched on a delicious, crunchy, onion ring while deciding how to dress this loin up. I started by putting down a nice layer of horseradish directly to the loin on top of that I piled on some mayo, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. I then took the top half of the bun put on some mustard, mayo, and horseradish. Putting the lid on this bad boy, I admired the nice bun overhang. I then picked it up and started to gnaw on it a little bit to get some of that overhang down to where I could handle this monster! Perfect breading on a very tender piece of pork that was fried to perfection. I continued munching until I got to the dressings. The bite of the horseradish along with the creaminess of the mayo, the crispy lettuce, and sweetness of the tomato with the bite of the onion made for a perfect sandwich! I left stuffed! Well done Catch 22 Sports Bar & Grill! Well done indeed!

I am a Philly girl and cheesesteak/hoagie snob! I have not found anything "just like home" but this was pretty awesome!! Nice little sports bar (female owned)! Cheesesteak with white american and provolone...roll was full..wouldn't normally get green peppers but nice addition. Close to home for me. Wish they had draft beer but bottles/cans ok. Definitely recommend and will be back

This cozy little whole in the wall sports bar is the perfect lunch spot off the square! The pork tenderloins had the perfect light, flaky breading and it was MASSIVE! You can dress it up or down however you please with lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion and any condiment you'd like. My burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. They were even so kind as to make this isn't more of a lettuce wrap for me as requested. Both the fries and onion rings were tasty, but you don't get a ton!

Some days you find yourself hungry and thirsty and, lo and behold, you're at the entrance to an establishment. It offers both, drinks and food. You enter and it is less full than the last time you entered, which was around happy hour, but not void of people and the lady behind the bar calls out, "What can I get you?"You ask, "Is the kitchen still open?"She replies, "It closes at 9:00."You order a craft ale, a fried chicken sandwich, and your partner orders trash can nachos. They lived happily ever after on the price/quality frontier, as the food is very good "bar" food and the beers are cold.....I only wish they had frozen pint glasses to fill with my favorite KC ales. While you're there, check out downtown Liberty. More history than you can remember, I'm sure!

I don't know if the phrase, "family-friendly sports bar" has been used before, but there's no place that it fit's better than at Catch 22. This is as "neighborhood" as it gets. With just a few visits, you get to know the staff and several of the regulars. The menu includes some great appetizers like "trashcan nachos" as well as excellent burgers, a Philly, cheesesteak, an amazing tenderloin, and other wonderful sandwiches. It's a full bar, and the drinks are very reasonably priced. The food is good, the atmosphere is fun, and the friendly staff and patrons push this over the top. for myself and our family, this is a personal favorite.
