Hands-down, one of my favorite places to get tacos. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, the food is excellent, the prices are quite economical, and they do a fantastic job making that place smell like Fabuloso. If you like street tacos, $1.50 per taco is a good value. Not only are they well priced but, the cooking is done well. The staff greets you upon entry and they do their best to keep that business going.By far this deserves a five star rating

Been trying to find a place to get some good carne asada since moving here from AZ. THIS IS IT The staff knows what they're doing and they're super quick. This place is always packed and now I know why! As soon as I walked in I could smell the yummy food and instantly knew this was going to be my spot from now on. The parking lot could use some help though.. always takes me about 10 minutes just to get out- traffic is bad in this area. But over all I 100% this place for all your authentic Mexican food needs!

I used to live in the neighborhood a long time ago and I remember when the first shop opened up on St. John. It is the go to spot for our carne asada for our cookouts. Now having moved back to KC area I live further out but I make the drive for their carne arrachera marinada and you can't beat the price on their fresh produce which I stock up on for my home made salsas. I love that even after all these years their quality has stayed the same if not better. I will always support mom and pop local businesses. Proud that they've been able to expand and succeed. Stop by if you haven't, you won't be disappointed!

Amazing food! They have pretty authentic tacos here, and I could tell because I was the only non-hispanic individual there! Im glad I went with my Guatemalan friend because he ordered us the most amazing tacos. We tried the carnitas, chicken and pork tacos and they all come in a double layered fried corn tortilla. The best part,n they were each only a little over a dollar. This place is an absolute well kept secret on Taco Tuesdays and will be my go to. Friendly service, great prices, good food (their menu is pretty big by the way, serving more than tacos). It's a little difficult to find on google, but worth it.

I just moved to the area. Yes it was a mistake .... No I didn't realize every woman was 250 or on Meth. Look man, I'm coming from Venice where the BBQ joint had a pimp in a wheelchair hanging out back. Where the woman over 40 are hotter than the 25 year olds in Missouri. And that's a fact Jack. The only thing the women here are good at is blocking out the sun. Homes one thing I know is Mexican food. Italian used to be my favorite, I grew up in NY, what can I say..... plus I'm a sucker for Italian girls... but in Oct of 88 i moved to LA. Those were the days. I soon discovered Mexican food. At first I didn't understand but like Ringo I got it. Burritos are a staple, and who ever came up with the wrap is a straight out criminal. It's a burrito man. I'll tell you right now, nobody in Kansas City really knows what Mexican food is compared to somebody from Los Angeles. This is where you want to go and get your stuff. And go to the back counter to get your salsa Verde. Get real tortillas not the stuff from the grocery store, you losers. This is the real deal. I'll be going about every two weeks to load up. If you think you're getting Mexican food anywhere else, get a clue. This is where you want to get your stuff, this is the real deal. And let me tell you something else, Latin girls.... you treat them right, they treat you right. Take it from me, the Casanova of the Hudson, you want real Mexican stuff in KC? This market has it.

This is the grocery store, not the restaurant that is right next door to it with a similar name.I usually go on Sunday's when the prepared foods are awesome. My favorites are the house made flour tortillas, the cheese and jalapeño tamales (I think they are $6 for 6), the beef, and the chicharrones. I also love some of the pastries. The meats are outstanding and I pretty much guarantee it that the ground beef has no pink slime added. The meats are affordable and taste amazing.

The windows make it hard to look in and figure out if you're at a restaurant or a grocery store. I've lived in the neighborhood for 2 years and I admit I waited way too long to come here. Wow! I'm blown away by the selection of meats, Grocery items- both fresh and pantry (non perishable) items and snacks such as pastries and they even have piñatas! They also sell items like charcoal and lighter fluid for your bbq. The store is clean and the meats look and taste fresh. I feel safe shopping here because they have a full time security guard. I'll support local business whenever I can and I promise I'll be back.
