This location has expanded and improved over the years; it has been a neighborhood success and favorite. I prefer their meat quality over other carnicerías and enjoy their restaurant variety, flavor and service. The owners are delightful and friendly, and their employees follow their lead. It stays busy, so come with ample time to shop and/or eat. If you prefer, place an online order for fresh meat (pick up within 30 min. of ordering), or their restaurant ordering. Both options have been superb for me! This is the website I use: https://en.supermarteltorito.com

Went to this place a couple times and it's mines and my friends favorite Mexican restaurant. The staff are always nice and the restaurant is always busy. So you know the food is good. Very large portions for a very good price. Both dishes was around $14 each. You will be stuffed after eating half the plate so you can take the rest home and eat it later on. Overall best Mexican restaurant 5/5.

This meat market is my favorite in KC and you might ask, why did I give it here stars ? A few reasons, either go right when they open or early in the weekday, otter times expect to wait anywhere from 30-60 minutes to be helped in the butcher area. They have everything you want a Mexican meat market to have, from pan dulce to carne asada and everything in between, expect to receive good friendly service from knowledgeable butchers. Be prepare to pay a bit higher prices on vegetables.

This is my go to for authentic Mexican food! They have two locations but I prefer the one on Central. There is a small parking lot across the street and there's a lot of street parking. This is authentic Mexican food! They have a salsa bar in the front. I love the green jalapeño salsa. I usually get the street tacos, carnitas and al pastor. I also like their pork chops and carne asada. They serve the Mexican coke in a bottle. I don't thinK it gets any better than street tacos and Mexican Coke! This is my husband's favorite place to get menudo. If you want authentic Mexican food, give this place a try. Nothing fancy, just good food for a reasonable price.

I've never had a better taco Tuesday. Or shall I say taco everyday!!!!! $1.35 for a taco. All day errday omg. Like how do you say no. Three tacos looks small but it's plenty. I feel like the wait is long but I've also been super starving every time so... could also just be me. Brush up on your Spanish skills though. This place is no joke! BRB, drooling.

My favorite place to buy meat is now my second favorite place for a solid street taco. I had the Al Pastor - it was very clean, very fast, and extremely affordable - par for the course in street-taco fare, so that's great. Stop by, grab a few tacos, some Arrachera to go, and some Dulce Pan for the road!Just a message to the owner: I'm the guy that bought that 45 pounds of Arrachera with lower salt. It turned out great! The meat tasted incredible after the evening on ice; your seasoning method worked perfectly. The salsa worked out as well. We made 450 tacos in two hours, and everyone ate all of it - I think we had .5 pounds left. Thank you for your time, and patience. I hope to do it again sometime in the future.

I love this neighborhood grocery and restaurant. They keep everything well stocked on the grocery side. They have THE BEST salsas in KCK. I keep them on hand in my refrigerator pretty much all the time. The food that they serve on the restaurant side is delicious! The only thing is that you usually have to wait awhile to get served and then for the food. They do have complimentary chips and salsa when you dine in. Great spot!

As a lover of authentic Mexican food, I have to say this joint has it down pat!! It's a bit out of the way, but I highly recommend you taking the drive to this hidden gem. The menu is full of several options! It may be hard to choose, especially since everything is so good!! My favorite are the tacos. You have to get a Coke in the bottle here. It's the original soda with cane sugar. So delicious!! The salsa here is also amazing! Not watery, not tomato-y, just the right amount of spice. My favorite!!

This is going to be kind of weird, but I am posting to rave about their refried beans! Easily the best I've ever had with no close second. Next time I go I might just get a bowl of beans. They're that freaking good!

The employees, especially the men in the meat/deli counter that work in this Mexican Supermarket are so disrespectful to customers. I'm reporting this store to the city/state because they freeze their cut meat different cuts of steak and freeze it so when the customer asks for 1 lb. because the steaks are frozen they weigh more and the customer ends up paying for 1 lb 1/4 or 1 lb. and 1/2 more! These unethical practice is illegal! The customers who are hard-working low-wage workers end up paying for ice on their meat. I've been to All of the 'Torito Stores' and they do the same thing -- I'm certain management trains them to do this. Simply despicable!
