Canoe Club Lakeside Grill

We came in for an event. They sure were busy! Our server was so attentive given what looked like he was running all open tables and tending to our event. Food was great - unfortunately I was unable to eat majority of what was provided..nonetheless, the drinks were GREAT! Espresso Martini, phew, it was prob the best we had in a hot minute! We were informed that they have live music, happy hours w/ certain specials etc. Only downfall is the parking. Def a struggle when they're busy, there's absolutely no where to park..

We absolutely love this gem of a restaurant and bar! Such a cozy and good atmosphere and a fun vibe for the summertime! We went last night, on a Thursday, for their Thursday fish taco and margarita special! Tacos are $3 per taco and margs were $3 as well. It was all so delicious as always, and as always I had to get a cup of their lobster bisque! Also (not pictured) my husband got the carne asada tacos and said they were really good. Daughter had a grilled cheese and fries from the kids menu. Their fries are so good so I'll be back to get those with a salad soon! The service was outstanding as well - the staff was so kind and sweet and our server did a lovely job as well.

Phish tacos are so good blackened! The artichoke dip is great but I would substitute the fried pita for chips to dip. Cocktails are real and felt the buzz LOL

This is a hidden gem. From the energetic service to tye engaged ownership, you'll work hard to find better service or engagement. That doesn't include the food. It was all cooked to perfection and was served expeditiously with focus on quality. We are definately repeat customers. Service 5 stars ownership 5 stars food beyond 5 stars. This gem shines!!!

Food was fantastic. So impressed. Service was okay, it wasn't very busy at the time we went but over server often forgot about us.

Ordered the blackjack salmon and my husband ordered the CC Chicken. Both were really good! Also loved the drinks - Lotawana Mama was yum! Very laid back atmosphere, and the server assigned to our table was very friendly. Will definitely come back!

We went there Saturday evening and were a bit underwhelmed. We went there a couple of years ago and I remember the food being better.This time around, I started with a lobster bisque. That was actually very good! I then had the mahi-mahi. It was bland with a bacon guacamole on top of it. I thought the guac was unnecessary and felt like the fish could have been a hit if it was blackened. The broccoli was really yummy. The rice..not much flavor.My husband ordered wings and tempura ranch to go. He said the wings were average and both agreed the tempura could have had some more flavor.We will go back and try another night. Maybe just an off night? They have great reviews for tacos so maybe we will try that.

I had high hopes for this place with all the positive reviews and word of mouth glowing reports. I expected good seafood from the canoe club... maybe my expectations were too high. Ordered calamari. Sent it back it was like chewing a rubber band. Server suggested the dip. It was better, but was creamy and almost like it was curdled.Main dishes nothing special. Won't be back, super disappointing.

The steak sandwich was great. Little pricy but good. I gave 3 stars because of extra charges. You get 1 side and mashed potatoes of all things was a $2 upcharge. Also a hidden charge on the bill was a credit card service charge. This charge was aboat $1 and did not show on the bill anywhere but on the total. The bill was 29.70 and the charge was 30.59. We were in a hurry after we finished and when I asked that was what I was told.

Ah, if only such a place existed beyond the realms of our wishful thinking! Well, i can't say every dish since I RARELY eat beef (exception, hamburger).
