Reminds me of few stops in Louisiana and the food was just as delicious. Prompt service and courtesy. The restaurant serves as a bar/diner with booths, tables, bar seating, dart board and a pool table. Plenty of parking and right of of Hwy 36-you would not regret the fried shrimp poboy or the potato salad (whipped to perfection) but the hush puppies stole the show for me. Crispy sweet outside with a hint of zip-just go get them!

Great food served by nice, attentive, and friendly staff. We tried the ultimate boil, which had a variety of meats, including sausage, crab, shrimp, crawfish (and maybe more) as well as corn, potatoes, all seasoned just right. We also tried a few of their appetizers, and were very pleased. Glad to have good Cajun cooking nearby.

We ordered catering for my nephew's college graduation, and let me tell you! Chef did NOT disappoint! We had the low country boil and Jambalaya. The season was perfect (spicy but not too much) and everything was cooked to perfection. We highly recommend for your catering needs if you are looking for something different!

I saw the reviews on social media and was so excited to try this. We waited for awhile so they could work out any kinks that a new place typically goes through. Apparently we did not wait long enough. Upon entering we were NOT greeted by the lovely girl 2ft away from the door leaning against the bar. Come to find out her job is slurping on her soda and glaring at the customers. Once the waitress noticed us we were seated and through out the meal she was great. We bumped into some friends and asked what they thought and should have heeded their warning. They had the gumbo and fried catfish....said it was horrible. We figured, well we will stay and try something different. BIG mistake. We got the shrimp boils and the combo app, which included gator, oysters and shrimp. The oysters and shrimp were good. The gator came as large chunks and were like chewing on rubber, like a deep fried rubber tire chunk. The shrimp in the boil were disgusting. It's as if they had been cooking the shrimp for days or perhaps just warmed it up in the microwave. Rubbery and tasteless. I've never in my life left so much food on a plate after a meal. That's when we noticed the other tables that hadn't been cleaned up yet, tons of left over food. The slurping glaring girl stopped by one of the tables to bus it and got wore out after doing half of it due to all the leftover uneaten food. Literally left the other half there and wandered off. Come to think of it, maybe that os why all the cats were out in the parking lot since there is probably a ton of goodies in the dumpster. 3 people and we blew $115 bucks. If you saw this big review and thought "think I'll skip to the end"...to sum it up, this ranks as one of the worse meals I've ever had. I feel like I should call the authorities as I felt violated by having to pay for it.
