"Great place to have a special meal. I recommend reservations The decor is amazing. There is a nice wine and cocktail menuThey serve bread before dinner. We all enjoyed the meals. The pasta is unlimited and delicious We ended with tiramisu and coffeeService could have been better. No one recommended wine or explained the menu."
"As always, Capital Grille is the spot to start any weekend with great cocktails, delicious bites and seeing everyone you know. We enjoyed Stoli Doli's and The Bohemian, Lamb Lollipops and Bluepoint Oysters. Food took a little longer than usual but was worth the wait. Craving those Lamb Lollipops already!"

"Tannin didn't disappoint. A wonderful outing to this Wine Bar. We had made a reservation so that certainly helped. It was busy this Saturday evening and there was a great ambience aa we entered. We were seated in a booth and my only fault was that I wish the AC was turned down a bit.The Menu was wonderful with a good selection of cocktails and of course Wine. I ordered a Moscow Mule as my first choice was no longer available. I knew right off my choices were going to be from the starters Menu and they were just perfect. The delicious fries with Aioli were spot on. The ahi tuna tartare with its crispy wontons were a delight and the shrimp appetizer were so good i ordered another. I didn't order a meal from the Menu but my love did. He went with the 3 course meal and a wine flight which he said was very good. His steak was a perfect medium rare and he was very pleased. We will certainly be returning. I will add that parking can be a chore even though they do have a lot adjacent. We luckily found a spot on the street and paid through the app."
"I couldn't wait to go back to this establishment after an elite event a while ago. I took a friend and my 3 y/o daughter there for lunch. They do in fact have a kids menu, which had me surprised since this is a higher end business. I ordered my daughter the fancy kids Mac n cheese, she is a fry nut so she thoroughly enjoyed her fries that accompanied the Mac. My friend ordered the steak sandwich. She absolutely loved the garlic fries. She kept raving about them so I had to try them. They were outstanding! I ordered the special which was a prime rib sandwich with bbq sauce and onion rings on it. It was delicious but messy! The onion rings were thin like onion straws. As a side I went with something that I knew this place could make amazing but other places can't- Brussels sprouts! They did not disappoint. This is a nice quiet restaurant. Our server was absolutely amazing. In fact he was so amazing my 3 year old asked if he could babysit her sometime. Such a cute memory. I wish they had one of these in the northland as it's off the beaten path for me but I will venture back as much as I can. It's my new favorite place!"
"Was in search of a good German restaurant with Black Forest Cake and Affare was recommended, so we gave it a tryRestaurant was nicely laid out. Small and cozy. Parking on the street. Staff was friendly and helpful. We started with the pretzel basket. Nice warm pretzels. Good way to start the day.We then had the veal schnitzel. They offer it 2 ways; Jager style which is with a mushroom sauce and butter spätzle or Wiener style which is with lemon, french fries and cucumber salad. We got a hybrid. We got it Wiener style with spätzle instead of french fries. The food was wonderful. The schnitzel was a good thick piece and was very tasty. The spätzle was the best we have ever had. For the main course this was clearly 5 stars. For dessert we got the Black Forest Cake. Forgot to get a picture. Presentation was nice. We have had Black Forest Cake in the Black Forest in Germany. That is what we were looking for. Unfortunately, this was not it. We could not find any cherries in the cream layers between the chocolate cake layers. This was just a chocolate cake with creame filling. It was just okay. This was only 3 stars worthyWhen I put the 2 together, I came up with a combine score of 4 stars. If you want schnitzel and spatzels this is definitely the place to go."
"We love tavern! We have been to both locations in prairie village and mission farms, but we definitely frequent the mission farms ones the most. Food is always delicious, and they are always changing up their menu rotation so there is always something new to try! It's a nice dim light setting in the restaurant, so it's easy on the eyes and not too bright. The service is typically great, there have only ever been a couple of times where the server or the staff bringing out the food weren't the best. Highly recommend their specialty cocktails and their calamari appetizer is one of our go to!"
"We celebrated the Lunar New Year at Fortune Wok in OP by ordering one of everything (almost )It was ALL was delicious, but the GF Lemon Chicken was soooo also really enjoyed the hot and sour soup - it was different than most places but in a GOOD way Excellent service as well. It was definitely worth the drive from NKC."

This was a really excellent experience! Our friends in town from Central Kansas wanted to visit Lidia's. Living here less than two years, we had not heard of it. but we were game to try it. Turns out my wife knew of the chef that is the owner of this place.Three of us opted for the special with three different pastas, a salad and dessert. The other diner very much enjoyed his short rib over potatoes. Our server, Susan, was very attentive and provided amazing service in this charming restaurant that used to be a train house north of Union Station. All of us agreed that we would like to return for another meal here. The Special this evening was three different pastas. One of them was a pear ravioli with pepper butter, another was a spiral pasta with some fiery tomato sauce and shrimp, accompanied by a fettuccine Bolognese that was a little light on the beef and pork. That was literally our only complaint. And it wasn't a complaint more like an observation. The Caesar salad here is easily in the top five I've ever had. All of us enjoyed our fabulous desserts as well. This place is a treat!

Never ordered a pork chop at a restaurant before. Why waste an order at a good restaurant on an easy cheap piece of meat. But wow did they make a pork chop one of the best things I've had in a long time. Crispy outside and not overdone on the inside. The fat had no gristle. It just melted into the meat. The stuffing was better than any Thanksgiving stuffing you've ever had. Broccoli is broccoli but it was cooked to perfection.

I gotta say, I was pretty blown away by the delicious lunch I got at Sierra Grill. As you can see in my amazingly executed photos (hehehe) they made one heck of a plate of steak frites. Like, I mean, I almost wept at the beauty of it.I was at lunch with my coworkers so I didn't ask to take pictures of their food but everyone seemed very pleased and as we were celebrating my birthday, they let me choose a dessert. We chose the chocolate torte and it isn't picture only because i couldn't stop my spoon from delving into its rich chocolatey depths! It was so rich and delicious! The service was great, attentive but not hovering, which I appreciate. The art was also amazing! You can scan the QR code and get a description (and purchase) a lot of the pieces up in the walls. I will definitely make my way back to Sierra Grill!

Service here in impeccable, my issue with dinner I last ate was actually dishes, now first of all let me lead with saying I'm hyper critical when I comes to food. The first dish was a pate that was a generous importion size that being said, the tiny triangle of bread that was severe to me to eat with it was not nearly enough, I stole bread off my husband app. Second dish Artic char was perfect! Rice and Romesco cauliflower were blah. The next dish lamb was good. The " duck fat confit" potatoes were NOT cooked at all practicality raw, and I'm sorry were not confit, nor was there ANY duck fat they were slightly streamed whole raw potatoes. Next dessert, not sure where to start on that? Under ripe papaya with a stiff cream??? Weird Definitely not barbarian pastry cream.

This place wowed me. The meal was quite expensive compared to my usual fare, but it did not disappoint. The salmon benedict brunch was so delicious and tasty and filling. I wish I could eat that lobster fondue all the time, such a perfect rich creamy flavor. The potatoes were pretty good. The shrimp and grits looked very yummy too. We had quite a big group and the waitress took fairly good care of us for Sunday brunch. The water glasses were not always filled though. The place was very big and decked out in a dark wood and flooring but bright windows. The tables and chairs gave plenty of space with booths along some walls. The bar looked very grand at the front as well. We were able to put in a reservation and come right in to be seated.I would totally love to eat here again and try some other dishes, when I want to treat myself. I have heard the pineapple infused vodka cocktail is very delicious and strong too.

"Dinner for four on a busy Thursday. Service was attentive & we were able to move from a table to quieter booth. We had salmon, excellent, and steaks. The filet was grand the med rare ribeye a bit gristly and chewy. We shared with the server one at our table had an onion/garlic allergy so have chef select her side dish. She was served steamed broccoli with a garlic butter. ouch. The bottles above the bar were arranged in a colorful palette, nice touch."
"Decided to stop by for brunch on Saturday. Very large interior, tons of natural lighting, and modern, upscale decor. We ordered the donuts upon recommendation from our waitress, and they were some of the best we've had. Warm, house made Italian donuts with orange mascarpone cream, powdered sugar, and pistachios. For our main dishes we ordered a Caesar salad, steak + eggs, and pappardelle pasta. Caesar salad - maybe I don't go to enough fancy restaurants, but I've only seen Caesar salad come out like this a handful of times. Layers of romaine lettuce wrapped together to form one large wedge drizzled in dressing, cheese, and one large parmesan tuile crouton. Bit of work to cut up the salad and mix everything together, but delicious, nonetheless! Would order again. Steak + eggs - sirloin cooked medium rare with two sunny side up eggs, few slices of bacon, potato wedges, and two pieces of toast. Pretty standard steak and eggs, no complaints. Pappardelle pasta - generous amount of rich, meaty, cheesy pasta. Noodles were cooked perfectly. I liked how their brunch menu included a few of their lunch menu items so that we were able to try items from both menus. Hope to come back for dinner!"
"Overall great experience with a larger group (~10 people). Reserved the fire pit area a month or so ago, had to move inside day-of due to rain. Hostess called me around 11 am day-of to inform me of new indoor location, table was set upon arrival, servers were quick to start apps and drinks. The bruschetta was my favorite of the apps we ordered - so many fresh tomatoes and the overall flavors were great!"
"Caitlyn is hands-down the best bartender I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! Her drink-making skills are absolutely top-notch--every cocktail she crafts is like a masterpiece in a glass. Caitlyn delivers every time with precision and flair.Beyond her impeccable skill, Caitlyn's warm personality and genuine care for her customers set her apart. She has an uncanny ability to make everyone feel welcome, remembering favorite drinks and even offering suggestions that match your mood or taste. Her drinks are a treat, and the experience she creates makes every visit unforgettable. Cheers to Katlyn--she's the reason I'll keep coming back! Thank you Caitlyn! Leandra & Buddy"
"We had breakfast while staying here it was very good and the view was nice as well. Nothing fancy but tasted great."
"Food is consistently good. Nice cozy atmosphere. Servers are attentive. Bathrooms are also very clean and the windows!"
"Tried for the first time and overall good food, would come back to try other dishes butFood: We had the Cinnamon Roll Churros, Chorizo & Eggs, and The Giant. Food was good but The Giant should be called The Medium. Nothing giant about it, about every dish I saw coming out had more food on it than what you get in that! Drink: Wife got a Bloody Mary she enjoyed and all the cocktails we saw coming out looked good. Similar to other reviews, the coffee and coffee drinks are a big miss here especially since this is a breakfast place. Instant coffee and specialty drinks made from a machine like you would see at a hotel. Atmosphere: Lively atmosphere with fairly loud music. Nothing wrong with it, unless you are looking for a more quiet and chill place."
"This restaurant and bar, located at Creekmoor Golf Course and open to the public, checked off all the right boxes during my dine-in lunch, making for an easy five star rating. I liked the classy atmosphere, the great golf course view, the stellar service, the efficient kitchen, the delicious food, and the great lunch special prices. My grilled chicken sandwich with side and drink ($7.99) was served 11 minutes after I ordered at the table. The chicken was 1" thick, moist, and perfectly cooked, on a fresh bun with fresh veggies, while the sweet potato waffle fries ($1 upcharge) were nice and tasty. The service from Melissa was attentive, cheerful, friendly, helpful, and anticipatory. Sweet! I also liked the interior, which was divided into three spaces offering background music and free wi-fi - the bar area, the main dining area, and the patio area, which offers roll-up garage doors and a great view of the golf course. They offer a weekend brunch and a kids menu, while the bar had specials on "thirsty Thursdays" and during the Friday and Saturday reverse happy hours. Excellent!"
