"I love finding a great Thai food restaurant! With Thai Place, you can't go wrong. We swung by on a Tuesday night for an impromptu dinner. We were sat immediately and had very prompt and attentive service throughout the meal. I highly recommend the Pad Thai, yellow curry, & yellow fried rice. The dumplings and crab rangoon also earned honorable mentions. I'm typically a mild spice level girlie but I did try out my friend's medium pad Thai. While spicy, it was manageable!"
"Delicious food and great service is the norm here! I have tried many dishes, and have never been disappointed. As is usually the case with Thai food be cautious if you don't care for much spice lol. Thai tends to be hotter (spicier) than American, so what they call a "little heat" may be more than you expected. I highly recommend the Pad Ki Mao, and Pad Thai. Two completely different flavors, but both amazing. They have specials daily, so make sure you look as you walk in to see what is the special."

"Didn't know this place had a buffet until someone told me. The lunch buffet wasn't bad. You get a variety of Thai food from their menu, with a lot of different meat options with the dishes. Food was hot still at the buffet table. Service was good. The interior was spacious!"
"Women Rule the World and this spot was so welcoming from the staff to the ambiance to the flavors. The beer, wine and sake list had all we needed to start off a great dinner. Apps were hot and quick and the entrees, especially the Panang Curry Veg, was full of great spice. Lovely spot to meet some friends and family!"
"LOVELY date night spot. I love walking into a restaurant and feeling like I'm being doted on. They took very good care of us at Pad Thai! Great, succinct, friendly service. We enjoyed their soft pork spring rolls, the Roasted Duck Panang Curry (Duck was moist on the inside and perfectly crisp on the outside! Panang curry is sweet and peanutty.) As well as the Royal Thai Chicken - so saucy and extremely good flavor - loved the segments of lemongrass!I am grateful that YELP puts together collections for the KC area. We visited Pad Thai because it was on the "best eats in KC" collection, and I would wholeheartedly agree!"
"Solid place for Thai food. Honestly no complaints - the food was great, well made, and well seasoned; the service was prompt and attentive, even though it was busy, and the interior seating was adequate despite being busy. There's a separate area that you could sit at as well. I think my party of 4 waited about 10 minutes before a table was ready on a weekday dinner time. Pictures tell more than words could when describing food, so here's some of the different dishes we got. We had 4 totally different dishes, and each one tasted just as good as the others."
"The vibe is amazing! Servers know the menu! NA drinks are yummy! Rain or shine the patio, bar and setting is so chill and classy!"
"Excellent service and a great selection of foods; dumplings, rice dishes, noodles, soups, and sticky rice. Also, great mocktails (every cocktail has an NA version!)"
"I enjoy going here as it's close to my office. I'm pretty simple and get the Thai fried rice with chicken. It is very filling and great taste. Yes I like Thai hot and always get the stare lol. Staff is very friendly and quick to ensure you have what you need. Always enjoy the orient decor"
"Oh my god!!! As if it wasn't enough that they already serve amazing Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, and other Asian cuisine, they just started serving sushi! It's not just any sushi. I am officially a connoisseur of sushi and this was insanely delicious. I was also there two days ago having Chinese, Thai and sushi lol today was just sushi."
"A great little Thai joint tucked away in a strip center. The sweet is sour sauce is amazing - like, you need a straw to drink it amazing! My favorite part of the meal was dessert. We splurged for the taro and banana ice cream and WOW. Crazy impressed! Plus the waitress explained taro is a purple root vegetable that's naturally slightly sweet! I love trying different ethnic foods and am so glad I ordered it!"
"Wow! I didn't expect to find delicious Thai food in Knob Noster Missouri! If you're visiting Whiteman AFB, don't drive 10 miles into Warrensburg like everyone else does. Stop 2 miles down the road in Knob Noster. This place is legit Thai and Asian food right outside the gate. The Pad Kee Mow with medium spice was perfect. Start off with the fresh spring rolls...you won't regret it. I'll be back to try more delicious menu items on my next visit."

I've been going here for years. First Thai restaurant I had ever tried. Still, by far my favorite.

The food was amazing. We had Drunken noodles, pork egg rolls, Thom Ka soup, and so on. The service was just the opposite. Everyone was very nice and seemed attentive, but they didn't pay attention. We ordered the soup and rolls first and held off our meal order so we could have them as appetizers. The meal showed up a few minutes BEFORE the appetizers. The soup didn't have a ladle, and by the time they "washed" one the soup was cold. My observation would be to socialize less with the "crew" and write down what your customers are saying and what you say you're going to do. Again, great food, nice people, pay attention.

We always forget about this little gem and it is less than a mile away by Home Depot. Everyone who works here is always very friendly and offer advice on the menu for newbies. We went on a slow, very cold night and it was a bit chilly inside. That was the only downside, and remedied quickly with some hot spicy thai food! The Pad Sea Eu beef is very good, and a massive portion that filled me up twice. The Pho with beef was also very good! The only downside is no soup or salad comes with the meal, but as mentioned, portions are large. They have a lunch buffet that we plan to try, as those are very rate nowadays after the Pandemic.

Some of the best Thai in KC! The Pad Thai and Massamon curry is amazing. Also the best crab Rangoon in our area! The service is always excellent. Restaurant is very clean, open, and inviting. We frequent here weekly for how amazing their Thai is. A must try!

Visited today for a lunch with co-workers. We were greeted promptly and cheerfully as we were shown to our table. I ordered a Thai iced tea ($5.95) and chicken Red Curry ($17.95). Our food was delivered in about 8 minutes, and it was delicious. Senna and Jane were our servers, and they were always smiling and helpful. The dining room and patio are so relaxing-it would be a great date spot. We took enough home for dinner.Compared with other local Thai spots, Pad Thai is more expensive but offers outstanding service, quality, and ambiance.

I can't imagine that it took me a while to try this hidden gem near Waldo area. This place is so creative with the Thai menu from south and north of Thailand and it changes every few weeks.Everything we ordered and got was excellent and delicious. The staff and service is best. Everything and everyone was great.Make sure you check with the server about some dishes because most of the stuff you see there is pretty new and it's sometime hard to understand how it's gonna turn out. I strongly recommend you all to go try this place. They have a beautiful ambience and a lot of seating inside and outside as well. This is one of the best times for you to go enjoy my evening meal before it gets dark. There's plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant as well. If you don't find something on the street go check it out.

Wow! Amazing service and very knowledgeable staff. The beverages were skillfully crafted with exacting precision and creativity. You won't be disappointed by the variety and the delicious options for the meals and desserts. Our group ordered three different dishes that showed us the Bon Bon touch - locally sourced ingredients deftly prepared and presented with an eye-catching array of techniques, textures, and flavors. Try the Thai iced tea ice cream! Do yourself a favor and leave Mass Street for an amazing flavor experience!

"The hour and sour soup is really good and the garlic shrimp is the best I've ever had. The food is definitely worth it and you get a lot of it"
"The food was good and the service was great. The ambiance was very inviting, however, the lighting is dim, which makes it difficult to read the menu. But all in all a great place to dine."
"I want to start off by saying I have never had Thai food before, but if it's as good as this food truck I will be having it again. I got Chicken Pad Thai and an order of Crab Rangoon. I ordered the Pad Thai with the spice level of medium. It had a nice kick to it, next time I'm going with the mild. The Pad Thai was flavorful and filling. If you see this food truck you must order the Crab Rangoons! They are made fresh and are so delicate and delicious. Not only is the food amazing but I enjoy the customer service and value. My order was taken by someone outside the truck and I really enjoyed it! Not only was I able to hear him better but it also gave me a chance to ask questions and learn about the history of the food truck. I hope to see this truck around soon because I'm ready for seconds!"
"Finally tried this Thai spot. My friends have been recommending it since I moved here 6 months ago. They were right. It's delicious! So many yummy choices but I went with the Curry Flight. I love to taste different flavors so give me a variety option like a flight and I'm in! The only down side is that they pick the curries and out of about 6 or 7 choices, you get red, yellow, and Panang. Delicious but I really wanted to try their green, Massuman, and Jungle curry as my 3 selections. I'll have to try each one of those separately. I still recommend it and all 3 of those curries were tasty. My partner got the Tamarind Chicken and other dishes at the table like Tom Ka soup, coconut shrimp, and Pad Thai were all delicious! Especially the Tom Ka. One of the best I've tasted. I'll be having that again! It was busy with a few larger parties and only a couple of servers so a bit slow at times but they hustled and got us what we needed! It was my friend's bday and even though they don't do anything for birthdays, our server stopped by to lead us all in singing happy birthday! Very, very nice people working there! The restaurant is really clean and elegant with ample seating and warm light. They are open on Christmas Day, so I may be back then since I can only take so much holiday food! I have had a few bad experiences with Thai food over the last few years and had moved more toward other styles of food but Sawasdee has restored my faith in Thai! I'm looking forward to my next visit!"
"One of my favorite Thai places locally here in Knob. I have tried several places and although you may see the outside of this restaurant and think to yourself "no way I am eating there".... it tastes authentic and has great prices. The food is always hot and taste to satisfaction. My only recommendation would be that the location itself get a face lift.... making it more appealing for customers to want to order from there."
"Went here with my love, had a good time here for dinner. For a Saturday night, we thought this place would be busy but it wasn't. It should be though because the food was so tasty and delicious. We got the sampler plate, Basil wings, Thai Basil Wings, and a fried fish dish. Everything came out hot and fresh. In a timely manner. We got so full and it was worth the drive from the Northland."
"Amazing food. Love the pad Thai with chicken. They have a special pad Thai with egg noodles which is also great. One of my go to places for takeout when I'm in the area"
"When we get a craving for Thai food, we make the drive to Thai Place in Overland Park. It's been over a year since we had good Thai food and here was our experience:Location: This gem of a place is located in a spot with high turnover for food spots. The restaurants in this area really suffer for many factors that I wont get into here. I'm hoping this place does not get hit with the turnover curse. A Vibe: 9.75/10 It was clean and they had jazz playing in the background. There were two TVs going and there was nice decor on the tables. They were disinfecting the tables after people left, which was awesome to see. We felt very comfortable here.Customer service: 9/10 We were immediately greeted by the hostess and seated quickly. There was one other table with people but that was it. Everyone was kind and courteous. We did have to wait for a while for boxes and for the check, but there were only two staff members working and it was starting to get busy. A great variety: 9/10 Aside from stir fry and grapow, they have curry dishes and pho! They also have a great selection of salads. Their menu is expansive so it was hard to narrow down what I wanted to eat! It all sounded really good!Food: 10/10 Hubby got a medium beef grapow and I opted for the cashew chicken stir fry-mild. We also ordered crab Rangoon. Both dishes come with a hearty serving of rice. When I tell you this food was straight fire-I had to do a double take! The flavor was on point! The rice soaked up the sauce nicely without drying it out. The white meat chicken was tender and perfectly cut. It was piping hot and came out quick. The Rangoon was lightly crisp with the right amount of filling and a nice sauce to dip it in. WHOO! It was fantastic! Altogether with tip, our food cost $50. Cost: They do offer discounts for paying in cash. Otherwise, credit/debit is 4%. Also-please be mindful that shrimp and specialty dishes will have an extra charge! Another customer was bothered that the shrimp cost more, but it is shrimp... plus this is a new establishment. Give some grace. Overall:10/10 Thai food is hard to come by and I am so glad that we have a place nearby our home! This will be in our rotation from now on! The food was hot, fresh, and had excellent flavor. The food presentation was great and service was awesome! I am excited for our next visit!"
"We have been here several times and have yet to be disappointed. I try to get something different each time and i must say, everything has been wonderful. The X-Man sandwich has a wonderful flavor and is my favorite thing I have had. I also loved the Brisket Pad Thai. Just the right amount of spice...not near what a traditional Thai restaurant might be....probably a "mild +". Their appetizers we have had are excellent as well. The Brisket Rangoon is wonderful, crispy with plenty of brisket. I also love the Brisket Eggrolls and Thai Sausage Dumplings....sooo good. They have a full bar and offer specialty drinks as well.Give it a try if you like Thai food with a touch of BBQ!"
"Outstanding small Thai restaurant up at the Lenexa/Shawnee line serving up big flavor and fresh food! Whether you are staying in or getting your order to go, the food is made to your liking and everything I've had has been just right.I love Thai food and I almost always judge a spot's Pad Thai first. I figure that if the Pad Thai is a good, then most everything has a shot at greatness. Lanna's Pad Thai is right on target, blending all the right profiles with noodles and protein. We have ordered the Crab Rangoon, crispy wontons with a sweet heat sauce, the spring rolls, and more. Each dish is executed very well and is brimming with flavor. The spice level varies a bit, and medium, for me, usually is enough heat. Lanna Thai spices their food well, not overpowering (unless that's your thing), and the spice complements the dishes instead of dominating them. The Drunken Noodles are another hit, fresh & crispy veggies with the glass noodles in a savory & spicy sauce. Lanna is easy to find and the dining area is small but very well-appointed. Great service, LOTS of to-go activity, and pricing is very fair. The value probably outpaces the price as the food is really good and the flavors will have you back again."
"With restaurant week currently happening a few friends and I decided to try this place out. We all got different appetizers but all got the same main course which was the Crispy Mango Duck. There was nothing that stood out about the appetizers, the duck while good was a bit on the dry side with how they breaded it and deep fried it. The dessert were the highlight of the visit. They were absolutely amazing!!"
"I visited the crossroads location. Very limited parking in the lot. Street parking is a challenge.Love the vibe from the moment you enter....calm and relax. There is a bar area and a full service bar. We stopped in for lunch so no drunksOur server was very attentive. Being our first time there we asked for additional time to review the menu. A seasonal menu is also available. We ordered from the lunch menu which was reasonably priced. Our orders arrived quickly and the aromas and flavors of our selections was a delight.Definitely give Lulu's a visit."
"Overall this is a perfect little addition to downtown OP. It's in a great spot by the clocktower, has good vibes, and I think if you know what to order, it can be pretty tasty.I have to preface this like I do my other Lulu's reviews; it's different than traditional Thai food, in my experience. To keep it positive, I will say I have the best experiences when ordering two things, an honestly two things only: Tempura vegetables to start, and share an order of Rainbow Peanut Noodles with my wife. The tempura veggies are fantastic, and comes with an addicting cilantro chimichurri sauce. These are real veggies and lots of them; bell peppers, peas, broccoli, green beans, onions, and some mushrooms. A lot of times at other restaurants, this is filler food like sweet potatoes an giant onion hunks.. not here, it's the real deal. The Rainbow Peanut Noodles when fresh are really tasty too; creamy, spicy (depending on what you specify), and it's a huge serving. I love topping it with their fried garlic and a bit of sriracha for added kick. Service here was friendly, even if everything was running a bit slow on the date we visited. My girls loved the koi pond but watch out as some very small nails are sticking out of the wood around the tank. I can imagine grabbing a patio spot months from now, when it's not a blustery 20 degree day, would be ideal. Nice addition to downtown OP that lowkey has some good ethnic cuisine sprinkled throughout."
"I'd say more of a 4.5 star rating. Very good. Great service. There is a sleeper rice dish that is actually one of their best dishes. Good food. Authentic. Duck is on the menu, need I say more? The old Siam in Warrensburg is legendary and the best Thai place I've eaten at from New York To LA, but this place is coming into it's own. Atmosphere is eh. Feels like a diner more than a Thai restaurant. Don't let that throw you. It's worth the stop."
"After an exhaustive search we found it, the Sushi spot. Great food, big selection, nice ambiance and fantastic service! Look no further than Mint/Mr Sushi, you will like it!!"
"Authentic Thai restaurant that has a vast menu with approachable, as well as, more obscure Thai dishes. My chicken and green bean dish was tasty however, I do wish it was spicier, I asked for "hot" and feel like I got more of a mild dish. But, I did taste my date's dish and it was to my spice preference. The strange thing is we both ordered "hot". I would definitely go back and try other dishes on the menu. .The drink selection is quite impressive and they have a solid cocktail list. My martini was fruity while also maintaining a taste of alcohol, it was a light and refreshing drink to enjoy with the meal. I believe they have a pretty full bar so, I would assume they can make simpler drinks as well. The dining room was pretty full for a later dinner on a weeknight and there was only one server but, she did fabulous and handled all the tables with ease. This is one of my new favorite Thai places and that says a lot because there are some great ones in Kansas City and other surrounding suburbs."
"Kudos to my friend who recommended this place. I've had a few dishes here already and have recommended this spot to anyone who enjoys Thai food. It's family owned and very quaint but excellent food. The pad Thai is so much better than my local Thai place in L.S. so well worth the drive here. Good crab Rangoon too!"
"Service was quick! Food was even better. They really are attentive here. We were checked on, multiple times. The Pad Sea Eaw were fantastic! Mild, so not spicy, at all! It was even better as leftovers!"
"I got my order to go, it was ready when I got there. not sure if I'll be back. The spice level on the pad thai seemed very weak. and it looks like they gave us pork instead of veggie dumplings. I did reach out to management but they requested a picture of the dumplings. not sure how to respond to that one. I didn't take a photo of what I ate. but at least they replied. if you do order from here and like thai hot, order more spices on the side I guess."
"The food here was exceptional!!! So flavorful and huge portions! Service was fabulous! Very quaint place!!"
"Food was delicious, the restaurant was cozy but felt upscale. Server was super friendly and attentive. The curry is flavorful and lovely."
"We enjoyed our first meal from their Truck while it was at The Peculiar Winery. Very good food. Clean, simple, and filling. Wish their menu was larger on the truck but they can't pack everything."
"Went to Cozy Thai for lunch the other day. What a nice place. It is not overly big, however I would say just the right size. The staff there are extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. On to the food.We got two lunch specials, for $12 each. A lot of food. It include hot and sour soup or salad. Lunch specials came with two crab rangoon. One of us is not a fan of crab rangoon so we asked is we could substitute something else. They were very accommodating an offered an egg roll. For our mail items we got a Chicken Pad Thai and a Pork Drunken noodles. Both servings were very big. Served piping hot. The food was delicious. Some of the best we have had. You can adjust the level of spice. I will admit one of us got 0 spice and the other 1 spice (we just can not handle overly spicey food, however we do enjoy Thai food)If you are looking for some Thai food, you should definitely give this place a try. You will not be disappointed"
