"LOVELY date night spot. I love walking into a restaurant and feeling like I'm being doted on. They took very good care of us at Pad Thai! Great, succinct, friendly service. We enjoyed their soft pork spring rolls, the Roasted Duck Panang Curry (Duck was moist on the inside and perfectly crisp on the outside! Panang curry is sweet and peanutty.) As well as the Royal Thai Chicken - so saucy and extremely good flavor - loved the segments of lemongrass!I am grateful that YELP puts together collections for the KC area. We visited Pad Thai because it was on the "best eats in KC" collection, and I would wholeheartedly agree!"
"I visited the crossroads location. Very limited parking in the lot. Street parking is a challenge.Love the vibe from the moment you enter....calm and relax. There is a bar area and a full service bar. We stopped in for lunch so no drunksOur server was very attentive. Being our first time there we asked for additional time to review the menu. A seasonal menu is also available. We ordered from the lunch menu which was reasonably priced. Our orders arrived quickly and the aromas and flavors of our selections was a delight.Definitely give Lulu's a visit."

"Overall, you're paying for the ambiance here. The space is great and it's right in the heart of Park Place. There's a big inside space, upstairs with live music sometimes, outdoor seating upstairs and on the ground floor with fire pits and I think heaters in the winter. The food is good. Plating is nice. No real complaints on the food. It can be pricey. Happy hour is pretty well priced however. Service was okay- I've been a few times and this last time I went for a birthday and I told our server twice and put in our resy we came for a birthday. The server even asked if we came for something and told me she'd bring a dessert out for the birthday girl. That never happened. I totally understand it happens. Busy weekend dinner. But I've heard the same story from a few people recently so I'm not sure. I've been upstairs once and I do think it gets a bit too loud to enjoy a conversation with someone. I think it's a decent place for food if you're wanting Thai and convenience in being able to walk to desserts and or coffee or to lounge outside."
"Amazing food. Love the pad Thai with chicken. They have a special pad Thai with egg noodles which is also great. One of my go to places for takeout when I'm in the area"
"The food here was exceptional!!! So flavorful and huge portions! Service was fabulous! Very quaint place!!"
"After an exhaustive search we found it, the Sushi spot. Great food, big selection, nice ambiance and fantastic service! Look no further than Mint/Mr Sushi, you will like it!!"
"The food was good and the service was great. The ambiance was very inviting, however, the lighting is dim, which makes it difficult to read the menu. But all in all a great place to dine."
"We have been here several times and have yet to be disappointed. I try to get something different each time and i must say, everything has been wonderful. The X-Man sandwich has a wonderful flavor and is my favorite thing I have had. I also loved the Brisket Pad Thai. Just the right amount of spice...not near what a traditional Thai restaurant might be....probably a "mild +". Their appetizers we have had are excellent as well. The Brisket Rangoon is wonderful, crispy with plenty of brisket. I also love the Brisket Eggrolls and Thai Sausage Dumplings....sooo good. They have a full bar and offer specialty drinks as well.Give it a try if you like Thai food with a touch of BBQ!"
"Reliable, excellent and comfortable. We tried so many dishes can't single them out - everything is excellent - appreciate the mild plus option for sharing. Gaprow, house fried rice, any noodle dish, spring rolls, crab Rangoon, basil stir fry, all great for sharing. Quick service. Big space."
"Our go-to Thai spot in Lees Summit area. They're authentic and the inside has a great vibe. They're attentive and their menu has the regular Thai menu choices. Their Thai tea is great but just a tad sweet so ask for 50% less sweet."
"Food was delicious, the restaurant was cozy but felt upscale. Server was super friendly and attentive. The curry is flavorful and lovely."
"Women Rule the World and this spot was so welcoming from the staff to the ambiance to the flavors. The beer, wine and sake list had all we needed to start off a great dinner. Apps were hot and quick and the entrees, especially the Panang Curry Veg, was full of great spice. Lovely spot to meet some friends and family!"

Visited today for a lunch with co-workers. We were greeted promptly and cheerfully as we were shown to our table. I ordered a Thai iced tea ($5.95) and chicken Red Curry ($17.95). Our food was delivered in about 8 minutes, and it was delicious. Senna and Jane were our servers, and they were always smiling and helpful. The dining room and patio are so relaxing-it would be a great date spot. We took enough home for dinner.Compared with other local Thai spots, Pad Thai is more expensive but offers outstanding service, quality, and ambiance.

I just love the vibe in the Crossroads Lulu's! The decor is funky, eclectic, and a little retro. Lots of plants and cozy booths. It can get pretty hoppin on the weekends, so make a reservation if you plan ahead, but I can typically walk in on weeknights. The lot out front (which I swear used to be Lulu's parking) is now mostly hotel valet parking or parking for other restaurants, so you'll have to find street parking or use the paid garage on 22nd. They have delicious crab rangoons - honestly love their appetizer options. Also highly recommend the shrimp pineapple fried rice. Per the name, their noodle dishes are also delicious. Is this the best Thai food in the city? Probably not. But is it tasty and fun? Yes!

Big group dinner here. We were seated on the second floor. Service was great!I got the crispy garlic shrimp. Many got the pad Thai. Someone got the sea bass. It's a local favorite. My shrimp was ok- I'd get the pad Thai next time.

My husband and I ate here as he's been to Thailand and wanted me to experience Thai food. For our appetizer, we ordered the steamed dumplings, which were very delicious. For our entrees, I ordered the chicken fried rice and he ordered the seafood pad Thai. When ordering dishes like these here, you have to select the level of spice you want: mild, medium, or hot. I chose mild for mine and he chose medium for his. Unfortunately, I think they got our spice choices mixed up because my entree was so spicy, I could only eat a bite so he gave me his entree, which was barely spicy, in exchange for mine. The pad Thai was very good! It had scallops, squid, and mussels and all were cooked to perfection. He said he liked my fried rice. Our waitress was very pleasant! She was always smiling and checking on us. Despite the spice mix up, we will be back!

I'm a big fan. Living in midtown, this is my preferred location for Thai food. I always come for lunch. It's a smaller spot and I've been when there's a wait. They really work hard to turn tables, so if there is a wait it won't be for long. With that said, the service is quick.I like to order Panang Curry in the winter for a nice warming meal. Everything else I've had is also enjoyable - Yellow Curry, Pad Thai, Crab Rangoon. Some of the meals are pricier, but the portions are considerably big and provide value for what you pay.

Mint Sushi has considerable competition in the area in the way of sushi-hibachi style restaurants - for Sushi and Sushi Rolls and Sashimi I would choose Mint Sushi.Super White Tuna Sashimi was cold and tasty! Super White Tuna Sushi excellent!I decided on some deep fried Rice Rolls that I enjoyed very much. A California Roll and a Crab Roll.Service and Food Presentation were Good. The Ambiance is simple and unassuming. I see your carry out business is good as well!Thank You Mint Sushi!

Pretty good place. I'm a fan of their food but the ambiance is a little older and the service is a little slow. They can also accommodate large reservations catered to the upstairs for functions

**A Culinary Gem Worth Every Bite! **Dining at Buck Tui Restaurant is an experience that I can only describe as a feast for all the senses. From the moment you step in, the ambiance is inviting and sets the perfect backdrop for what can only be described as a foodie's paradise. The dishes? Simply out of this world! Each plate served is a masterpiece in itself--beautifully presented and crafted with care that you can taste in every bite. The flavors are not just well-balanced, they are a symphony that dances on your palate. Every dish, from appetizers to desserts, is meticulously prepared, mouth-wateringly delicious, and leaves you eagerly anticipating the next course. And a special mention to the doctors of flavor - the chefs! Their expertise and passion for cooking shine through in every dish, making each meal a delightful experience that promises to linger in your memory long after the plate is clean. We had the brisket crab Rangoon's, pork belly egg rolls, brisket had Thai, and their twist on the moscow mule cocktail was also fantastic! 10's across the board! In a world where dining has become so much more than just a meal, Buck Tui has set a benchmark that many aspire to. For those who haven't yet had the pleasure, you're truly missing out. Thank you, Buck Tui, for a memorable dining experience. I am already counting down the days to my next visit!

"Didn't know this place had a buffet until someone told me. The lunch buffet wasn't bad. You get a variety of Thai food from their menu, with a lot of different meat options with the dishes. Food was hot still at the buffet table. Service was good. The interior was spacious!"
"We absolutely love this place. We drive in from Gardner just to eat here. The service is always fantastic. Restaurant is nice and clean. And the food is top notch. I ALWAYS get the mint beef salad. My absolute favorite. The family usually sticks with the shrimp pad Thai. Also delicious every time. And we cannot stop here without getting an order of their fresh spring rolls. A little different each time. But always fresh and delicious. This place is an absolute gem. I hope the residents near by realize how lucky they are to have KC Thai!"
"Delicious food and great service is the norm here! I have tried many dishes, and have never been disappointed. As is usually the case with Thai food be cautious if you don't care for much spice lol. Thai tends to be hotter (spicier) than American, so what they call a "little heat" may be more than you expected. I highly recommend the Pad Ki Mao, and Pad Thai. Two completely different flavors, but both amazing. They have specials daily, so make sure you look as you walk in to see what is the special."
"Finally tried this Thai spot. My friends have been recommending it since I moved here 6 months ago. They were right. It's delicious! So many yummy choices but I went with the Curry Flight. I love to taste different flavors so give me a variety option like a flight and I'm in! The only down side is that they pick the curries and out of about 6 or 7 choices, you get red, yellow, and Panang. Delicious but I really wanted to try their green, Massuman, and Jungle curry as my 3 selections. I'll have to try each one of those separately. I still recommend it and all 3 of those curries were tasty. My partner got the Tamarind Chicken and other dishes at the table like Tom Ka soup, coconut shrimp, and Pad Thai were all delicious! Especially the Tom Ka. One of the best I've tasted. I'll be having that again! It was busy with a few larger parties and only a couple of servers so a bit slow at times but they hustled and got us what we needed! It was my friend's bday and even though they don't do anything for birthdays, our server stopped by to lead us all in singing happy birthday! Very, very nice people working there! The restaurant is really clean and elegant with ample seating and warm light. They are open on Christmas Day, so I may be back then since I can only take so much holiday food! I have had a few bad experiences with Thai food over the last few years and had moved more toward other styles of food but Sawasdee has restored my faith in Thai! I'm looking forward to my next visit!"
"I enjoy going here as it's close to my office. I'm pretty simple and get the Thai fried rice with chicken. It is very filling and great taste. Yes I like Thai hot and always get the stare lol. Staff is very friendly and quick to ensure you have what you need. Always enjoy the orient decor"
"Service was quick! Food was even better. They really are attentive here. We were checked on, multiple times. The Pad Sea Eaw were fantastic! Mild, so not spicy, at all! It was even better as leftovers!"
"A great little Thai joint tucked away in a strip center. The sweet is sour sauce is amazing - like, you need a straw to drink it amazing! My favorite part of the meal was dessert. We splurged for the taro and banana ice cream and WOW. Crazy impressed! Plus the waitress explained taro is a purple root vegetable that's naturally slightly sweet! I love trying different ethnic foods and am so glad I ordered it!"
"Outstanding small Thai restaurant up at the Lenexa/Shawnee line serving up big flavor and fresh food! Whether you are staying in or getting your order to go, the food is made to your liking and everything I've had has been just right.I love Thai food and I almost always judge a spot's Pad Thai first. I figure that if the Pad Thai is a good, then most everything has a shot at greatness. Lanna's Pad Thai is right on target, blending all the right profiles with noodles and protein. We have ordered the Crab Rangoon, crispy wontons with a sweet heat sauce, the spring rolls, and more. Each dish is executed very well and is brimming with flavor. The spice level varies a bit, and medium, for me, usually is enough heat. Lanna Thai spices their food well, not overpowering (unless that's your thing), and the spice complements the dishes instead of dominating them. The Drunken Noodles are another hit, fresh & crispy veggies with the glass noodles in a savory & spicy sauce. Lanna is easy to find and the dining area is small but very well-appointed. Great service, LOTS of to-go activity, and pricing is very fair. The value probably outpaces the price as the food is really good and the flavors will have you back again."
"I get delivery from them all the time, and they never disappoint. Really great, authentic flavors, and everything is very fresh. Highly recommend!"
"The vibe is amazing! Servers know the menu! NA drinks are yummy! Rain or shine the patio, bar and setting is so chill and classy!"
"Went to Cozy Thai for lunch the other day. What a nice place. It is not overly big, however I would say just the right size. The staff there are extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. On to the food.We got two lunch specials, for $12 each. A lot of food. It include hot and sour soup or salad. Lunch specials came with two crab rangoon. One of us is not a fan of crab rangoon so we asked is we could substitute something else. They were very accommodating an offered an egg roll. For our mail items we got a Chicken Pad Thai and a Pork Drunken noodles. Both servings were very big. Served piping hot. The food was delicious. Some of the best we have had. You can adjust the level of spice. I will admit one of us got 0 spice and the other 1 spice (we just can not handle overly spicey food, however we do enjoy Thai food)If you are looking for some Thai food, you should definitely give this place a try. You will not be disappointed"
"I love Thai Spice. Since we're only able to dash (ending today I think), and boy did I DoorDash from them. Usually it's the pineapple fried rice entree. Omg that is so good-raisins, shrimp, pineapple, cashews.I also never skip the crab rangoons. You see, their crab rangoons and little and crispy. It isn't thick like generic Chinese restaurants. When I order through Doordash, Thai Spice gives you heaping portions of everything and always get it right. For my #givingthursday, I'm thankful for Thai Spice (and Dash pass) for doing it right for me. I'm not thankful for the extra pounds, I'm sure Thai Spice contributed to."
"Overall this is a perfect little addition to downtown OP. It's in a great spot by the clocktower, has good vibes, and I think if you know what to order, it can be pretty tasty.I have to preface this like I do my other Lulu's reviews; it's different than traditional Thai food, in my experience. To keep it positive, I will say I have the best experiences when ordering two things, an honestly two things only: Tempura vegetables to start, and share an order of Rainbow Peanut Noodles with my wife. The tempura veggies are fantastic, and comes with an addicting cilantro chimichurri sauce. These are real veggies and lots of them; bell peppers, peas, broccoli, green beans, onions, and some mushrooms. A lot of times at other restaurants, this is filler food like sweet potatoes an giant onion hunks.. not here, it's the real deal. The Rainbow Peanut Noodles when fresh are really tasty too; creamy, spicy (depending on what you specify), and it's a huge serving. I love topping it with their fried garlic and a bit of sriracha for added kick. Service here was friendly, even if everything was running a bit slow on the date we visited. My girls loved the koi pond but watch out as some very small nails are sticking out of the wood around the tank. I can imagine grabbing a patio spot months from now, when it's not a blustery 20 degree day, would be ideal. Nice addition to downtown OP that lowkey has some good ethnic cuisine sprinkled throughout."
"Kudos to my friend who recommended this place. I've had a few dishes here already and have recommended this spot to anyone who enjoys Thai food. It's family owned and very quaint but excellent food. The pad Thai is so much better than my local Thai place in L.S. so well worth the drive here. Good crab Rangoon too!"
"When we get a craving for Thai food, we make the drive to Thai Place in Overland Park. It's been over a year since we had good Thai food and here was our experience:Location: This gem of a place is located in a spot with high turnover for food spots. The restaurants in this area really suffer for many factors that I wont get into here. I'm hoping this place does not get hit with the turnover curse. A Vibe: 9.75/10 It was clean and they had jazz playing in the background. There were two TVs going and there was nice decor on the tables. They were disinfecting the tables after people left, which was awesome to see. We felt very comfortable here.Customer service: 9/10 We were immediately greeted by the hostess and seated quickly. There was one other table with people but that was it. Everyone was kind and courteous. We did have to wait for a while for boxes and for the check, but there were only two staff members working and it was starting to get busy. A great variety: 9/10 Aside from stir fry and grapow, they have curry dishes and pho! They also have a great selection of salads. Their menu is expansive so it was hard to narrow down what I wanted to eat! It all sounded really good!Food: 10/10 Hubby got a medium beef grapow and I opted for the cashew chicken stir fry-mild. We also ordered crab Rangoon. Both dishes come with a hearty serving of rice. When I tell you this food was straight fire-I had to do a double take! The flavor was on point! The rice soaked up the sauce nicely without drying it out. The white meat chicken was tender and perfectly cut. It was piping hot and came out quick. The Rangoon was lightly crisp with the right amount of filling and a nice sauce to dip it in. WHOO! It was fantastic! Altogether with tip, our food cost $50. Cost: They do offer discounts for paying in cash. Otherwise, credit/debit is 4%. Also-please be mindful that shrimp and specialty dishes will have an extra charge! Another customer was bothered that the shrimp cost more, but it is shrimp... plus this is a new establishment. Give some grace. Overall:10/10 Thai food is hard to come by and I am so glad that we have a place nearby our home! This will be in our rotation from now on! The food was hot, fresh, and had excellent flavor. The food presentation was great and service was awesome! I am excited for our next visit!"
"I would definitely give a thumbs up to Typhoon Thai for the flavors of what we ate. We enjoyed the Pad Thai, the peanut sauce, the egg rolls and the Hidden Treasure appetizers very much. The Peanut sauce had a fresh taste. Also we got a complimentary cup of house soup too that had a nice ginger flavor. Our server carefully took our order to make sure they had it correct, repeating back what we ordered. The negatives are that it is an old building. There are some smells in the bathroom area. We were there at lunch time but it wasn't busy until a bit later. Still, our food took a while and we had to wait 5-10 mins from the time the first order was delivered until we got our last. I would definitely support this restaurant but come when you aren't in a rush. And be patient."
"I'd say more of a 4.5 star rating. Very good. Great service. There is a sleeper rice dish that is actually one of their best dishes. Good food. Authentic. Duck is on the menu, need I say more? The old Siam in Warrensburg is legendary and the best Thai place I've eaten at from New York To LA, but this place is coming into it's own. Atmosphere is eh. Feels like a diner more than a Thai restaurant. Don't let that throw you. It's worth the stop."
"Oh my god!!! As if it wasn't enough that they already serve amazing Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, and other Asian cuisine, they just started serving sushi! It's not just any sushi. I am officially a connoisseur of sushi and this was insanely delicious. I was also there two days ago having Chinese, Thai and sushi lol today was just sushi."
"The hour and sour soup is really good and the garlic shrimp is the best I've ever had. The food is definitely worth it and you get a lot of it"
"We enjoyed our first meal from their Truck while it was at The Peculiar Winery. Very good food. Clean, simple, and filling. Wish their menu was larger on the truck but they can't pack everything."
