My seven year- old said she wants to live here , which is saying something because she is very picky."

"I frequent this restaurant quite often, and it's consistent every time. It's almost always busy, but the service, quality, and speed don't change. I've come with just my husband, a small group of friends, and even a large group with 10+ people. They have an indoor seating area and a covered outdoor seating area that doesn't get too hot even in this 90-100 degree weather. Over the various visits, I have tried the crazy monkey roll, kun pun wings, house salad, papaya salad, general chao's chicken, kun pun gi, kun pun shrimp, jam bong, jjajangmyeon, and their happy hour rolls. Everything has been good so far! The happy hour rolls are a pretty great deal - 2 rolls for $11! And the quality is up to par. One of my go to dishes is the kun pun shrimp (don't believe it's on the menu, but you can ask for it). It's just like the kun pun gi except with large shrimp. The breading is the perfect amount, it's crispy on the outside yet still chewy on the inside, the shrimp is tender, and the thick, spicy sauce is what I come back for. Overall, this place is solid, and I'm excited to try some of their other dishes!"

"Omo is one of our favorite spots in Kansas City to get ramen! You can find this ramen & sushi restaurant off of Ward Parkway, not too far from the waldo neighborhood and the AMC Parkway Center. Our table always starts with steamed dumplings and the rangoons. We also like to start with the ginger house salad and the miso soup. My favorite sushi roll at Omo is the mango shrimp tempura. The main attraction at OMO Ramen is the creamy and delicious ramen bowls loaded with fresh ingredients. My "go-to" ramen bowl is the OMO Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen topped with pork belly, a seasoned egg, corn kernels, bean sprouts, and scallions. If you are looking for delicious sushi and ramen in the Kansas City area, OMO Ramen is the spot to check out!"

A little revolving sushi place just like in Tokyo with touch screens for ordering and a little robot that brings your drinks. It's very tight spaces, as it would be in Japan, so if you're looking for a chill relaxed setting this isn't it! Each sushi plate is priced at $3.40 with about 4 pieces each plate. It adds up quick, but it's a decent little place! Nothing fancy, but gets the job done. You even get a little toy when you're done! Will be going again if I'm ever in the area!"

"Waited a couple of weeks to try. You can order by kiosk. The system is quick and easy to read. There are also physical menus so you can plan what you want to order versus having everyone hang around the screen. Drinks are from a display refrigerator, the dining area is a wide-open area with decoration on the back wall, and not much else but didn't go for the scenery. I don't know if this is the case but some of the food seems to be made off-site and reheated on-premises. If I am wrong that's what it tastes like. Local reviews on other sites were very complimentary, so maybe we came on a bad day but I'm curious to try out the sister restaurant and see if I can get anything close to approaching their menu/website photos. My Singapore glass noodles were unevenly heated, the kind of hot spots I would expect with a microwave, the curry sauce was absent other than mild flavor. The vegetables didn't make it into plural, just very finely chopped carrots. This dish did not remotely look like the picture on their website which contains meat pieces two to three times larger than what made it here. Hot and sour soup serviceable, crab rangoons, you can defrost your own at home. they had that needed more defrosting before cooking texture /appearance in the filling. Beef Hibachi fried rice: dry, doesn't stick together enough to use with chopsticks, tastes reheated. The beef was good in the dish but bland or no seasoning. There were no vegetables or anything in the fried rice which matched the picture on site. Uncle Roger would put the foot down so hard it would register a 5 on the Richter scale.Sushi... Our daughter has never left sushi on the table, or not gotten a to-go box until tonight. The tuna texture is one that I've yet to encounter before, it's not spicy unless mayo is considered spicy. Not making any claims on quality/ freshness just that it felt like little segments inside an orange and it's the only spicy tuna roll she's not ended, and that includes grocery/club store sushi. Overall left feeling this was like I had ordered good food and took some home for reheating the leftovers for the next day, which is great unless you are paying full price and end up binning the food."

"This restaurant is in the same strip mall in East Lawrence as the Set 'em Up Jack's sports bar and the Cascada La Golondrina Mexican Restaurant. Moriki Sushi is a surprise, much better than we had anticipated. The food is excellent, the dining room very nice, and the background music pleasant. The dining room has three booths along the windows and comfortable tables of different size throughout the attractive room. There also is a sushi bar. We sat at a booth, and the service was excellent.They have Sapporo beer, hot sake, and three choices of cold saki, including the excellent Momokawa saki. We got the hot sake with our appetizers and a bottle of Momokawa cold, dry sake with the sushi. We finished only half the bottle and took the rest home. They also have two other smaller bottles of cold sake, one sweet and the other sparkling. We will probably try the sparkling one next time. At present, they do not have regular grape wine, but might in the future.For appetizers, we tried the Hiyayakko tofu, the iron egg, spring rolls, and the smoked salmon sashimi. All four were absolutely excellent! We were very impressed. We also got the miso soup, which was fine but not outstanding. We usually like to add a little hot sauce to miso soup, so we asked for hot sauce. We were brought an excessively large bowl of Sriracha. An upcharge for hot sauce is rather unusual, but we were charged 50 cents for the unnecessarily large bowl of sriracha. Next time we will not ask for hot sauce, since we found the upcharge to be rather annoying, although trivial.For sushi, we got the Las Vegas Roll and the Philadelphia Roll. They were very good, although they have only white sushi rice. We usually prefer brown or black rice, but they do not have them.We would suggest that they make available a regular grape wine (at least a chardonnay white wine) and brown or black rice and drop the upcharge for hot sauce."

"I have only eaten here once - but from what I remember, I liked it. Traveling to Ft Leavenworth quarterly, you find yourself often driving to KCMO for dinner. There just is not a lot going on (dinner wise) in Lansing-Leavenworth. Fortunately, I found this little sushi spot. It is a pretty common "westernized" sushi place. But that's ok, because I'm a western fella. The service was fine; no issues there and nothing to report (negative or positive). The ambiance was decent. Again, a very typical westernized weapon of a Japanese sushi place with very heavy Korean influences, and I think I even saw some Thai options? The menu looks like the establishment-just everything Asian lol. But again, I don't mind. As long as it's all clean and sanitized and it was. I enjoyed the food. I always like a good old Philly Role, Spicy Tuna and all that. Add cheese wonton on the side? I'm sold. For a landlocked location like Lansing Kansas, I felt like the sashimi was as surprisingly fresh. I mean, it wasn't sitting on the rocks in Osaka kinda fresh... but it was surprisingly fresh and good for being in Kansas. Good for them! That's a whole star right there! I have to travel to the Army Post here frequently, and I think I'll be back next time I go. It's decent sushi, and 1 mile from the hotel, as opposed to 30 minutes to anything in KCMO."

Years ago I was spoiled with a chef's sushi special, and I haven't found a comparable roll since. That said, the house special did come very close. (S9 Kokuro Maki).I judge restaurants by key dishes like fries at an American restaurants, or crab Rangoon in the case of this place. Overall it's at or above average.I also had K2 Dolsot Bi Bim Bab, which had a good presentation, which I neglected to capture, but I wasn't a fan of the taste. My wife bought Chicken Katsu Bento Box, which she loved.I'd recommend you give them a try. There is a nice ambience with thick, dark wooden chairs and tables with rounded edges and round, paper lantern lights."

The main thing was the order was either wrong or the description was; I ordered one of those always fun, loaded and lightly fried tempura rolls (their Mega Roll) but what I got wasn't that at all.. no tempura, it had cooked tuna fish in it as well as raw salmon, which was quite the contrast and not in a good way. The spicy tuna roll was pretty tasty, although not any more memorable than any other sushi I've had in the past. I also got some tempura veggies and they were fine, although seriously lacking in both flavor and quantity. All in all, I was really excited to order delivery from here after hearing good things, but it'll be hard to sway me back in with so many other options to explore throughout KC."

I was expecting a regular ginger salad and when the creamy, watery dressing showed up on my table my tastebuds did a little happy dance. Anyway, enough about the dressing. I got the $9 lunch special with 2 rolls, Futo Maki and bagel roll. Both were delicious (not as delicious as the salad dressing, but still very good). I couldn't believe I got 2 rolls, a salad with dressing from the Gods, and a miso soup for less than $10 total. Service was also on point for a Friday lunch time. This is my new go-to sushi place. It reminds me of California sushi, which is saying something all the way here in good ol' Missouri. I'll definitely be back again and again. Side note: they don't bottle the dressing to sell. One in our group had a shellfish allergy and they accommodated her. What I don't love is getting tossed food that is sauced. I managed to not get too messy but out of 10 people at our table, only 1 was cued well enough to catch the shrimp (our shellfish allergy had to literally duck out of the way as it flew in her face ).Anyways, the food is really good and you'll have a good time."
