"I think this is a cool spot. I was passing thru and wanted a Topeka specific vibe/ tradition place and wasn't disappointed. The beer I had was fantastic. Exactly as the wait staff presented it. Wish I had gotten a growler but I was flying home in a few days so it wasn't plausible. The food was great. I had the steakhouse burger which is a mix of the trimmings on their steaks. Im not a burger guy. But I read the description and had to try it. It was really awesome. Grilled sour dough bread. The pickle with it was great. So great. Wish I had one right now. Definitely give it a try if just visiting."
"The evening that we dined at WFM, was the night before the "big game". The had a $3.00 mini burger special and were extremely busy. Our appetizer came out hot and was delicious but our burgers and fries were cold, especially the fries. The fries also tasted terrible and lacked flavor. Despite the crowd, the beverage table service was friendly and efficient. Although this visit wasn't a touchdown, we will try it again perhaps on a less crowded time and/or a night when they have live music."

"Waiting for a play at Mill Valley HS we decided to have dinner at Knub's Pub. This is a sports and pinball bar and decorated as one might expect. The menu is respectable and the service by Kaleigh was excellent start to finish. I opted for the Big Pub salad and added blackened chicken with the Apple Cider Vinaigrette. It wasn't particularly large but very good. We were a party of three and one meal consisted of a burger - I don't know which one- and onion rings. The other person had the same salad as I did sans blackened chicken. She also had onion rings and it all looked great. Like most sports bars the environment was on the loud side. I'm sure that Cinco de Mayo played into that. We really enjoyed Knub's Pub although I wouldn't drive the 30+ miles we did just to eat there. That said, if you're in the area and looking for a place to chill and enjoy some good food, this is your huckleberry."
"First time having drinks here and I absolutely loved the vibe of this place!!! I appreciate that the bartenders took the time to get to know my name and actually remembered it, making it feel personal. They did a great job with the drinks. They also had a cute outdoor patio that you could enjoy drinks! Definitely will be going back"
"Food - Consistently good Service - Good Ambiance - very dark Irish pub vibeWent back here on 5/21/24 - got the Steak & Guinness Pie, let that sink in for a second, just the name is tempting, right? There are only a select few dishes/cuisines/selections that impress on Bite ONE - this is one of them! The sauce is really good and tastes delicious. Pair that with some potato chunks, carrot pieces, small onion shards, celery and mushrooms.....OMG my tastebuds said. Seriously I would nearly risk using this @ Thanksgiving dinner like my dad eats gravy - as a MOAT around it all!Pair this with either a regular Guinness, or even an NA Guinness, and you "should" be in for a treat!"
"Do you want to eat the BEST PIZZA in KC? Seriously. The pizza is insane. Bailey is the sweetest and most awesome server. And did I mention the pizza? The bones. The 4 hands hazy? This place rocks. I we will be back often."
"We were doing that thing where you drive around until a place looks good. Do you do that? We just couldn't decide what we wanted. It was Saturday before noon, it wasn't super busy and the people there seemed like they might be regulars. A few people came in for pick up orders. We ordered fish and chips and a Reuben with a fruit cup as the side.It took awhile for the food, but not a horrible amount of time. You could hear a lot of yakking in the back, not saying that contributed to the wait, but it could have. The fish was very tasty. It didn't look like much, kind of more the size of chicken tenders, but I appreciated the delicate breading and ended up really enjoying them. The "chips" were fine, freezer bag fries. The coleslaw wasn't bad, but quite bland. There was something refreshing about it, but disappointing at the same time. I left most of it.The fruit cup that came with the Reuben had a few pieces of brown sad fruit right on top, which is sad that they would even serve something like that and didn't even say anything about the fact when they picked up the plates. The Reuben was more of a chopped meat sandwich than nice slices of meat. This made for it being quite dry and messy to eat. While the fish was really tasty, the rest of the experience was ho-hum enough that I doubt we'd go back."
"Brewtop Pub and Patio offers a wide selection of delicious bar foods and refreshing beverages, perfect for enjoying during your next big game or for a fun night out with friends."
"Service was great even at lunch when I visited. The buffalo wings were tasted great and hot. Fries were good as well. I also had an old fashion drink that was very tasty for the happy hours they had during lunch. I also grabbed a cobb salad and it was very filling. I liked the atmosphere where l there were a lot of tv's to watch games. May come on a Sunday to watch a Chiefs Game!"

The waitresses were all very kind. My husband was over the moon about the beers then had. Great variety. We came on a Friday and their prime rib and bison burger was out of stock so we split a burger. We came a second time and my husband got a steak and I got the tiger Que plate. Some of the meats were dried out however the homemade bbq sauce was delicious.

We stumbled on to this must try by chance. We were staying at the Hotel across the parking lot. What a fun place. Food was good, I don't eat burgers do I had the chicken Panini with a salad. I did receive curly fries, but no problem the just made me a salad & told me to enjoy the fries. Just to note CASH ONLY. Prices are reasonable& they have a cash machine available. Order from the bar & drinks are ordered at the table by a server. Service was great & they have interest games everywhere. Fun for every one of all ages. Our drink server Bailey was great.

This is a very popular local spot. People become regulars quickly. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The decor is a standout. Notice the lamps hanging upside down from the ceiling. The walls showcase license plates. I donated my old California plate, and got to choose its spot. I smile and tap it every time I see it.

Cinco de Mayo Westport Salsa Tasting Review First Place! When you think of Harry's Bar and Tables, I doubt you think salsa or even Mexican food at all, but open your mind because chef Grace is doing something spectacular in that kitchen! She's offering authentic Mexican flavors that were such a surprise. Make sure to try to catch one of her weekly specials like tamales oo tacos. Her salsa entered into the Westport Salsa Tasting Event was incredibly fresh, with the natural sweetness of the tomatoes shining through. The color was slightly green, but I'm not sure if that was from tomatillos or just different colors of tomatoes. This salsa wasn't spicy at all but didn't skimp on the favor, it had a great balance of onion, cilantro, and spices.

Let's do last things first in my review. The ambiance is WONDERFUL! Reminiscent of a genuine Irish pub times six, due to the size of the place. Kudos to the designer for providing PADDED CHAIRS and BENCHES! Probably not great for "turning over a table". But for guests a wonderful "bun-us". Service? I attended a book club event and we were provided a corner in a private room. I guess it's ours on a monthly basis. Laura, our fearless leader, communicated with Charley, our server the date and time for our next gathering. He diligently noted it on his calendar. As for Charley - what a wonderful server! He knows the menu inside and out and was helpful with suggestions. Now to the food. I ordered my favorite sandwich with a Cesar salad. I couldn't eat the salad as it had far too much dressing on it. I LOVED the diced onion and red and green peppers in the tuna salad. The port, gooey Cheddar cheese slice was great. But ~~my~~ preferred method has the tuna warmed up. Since this is the preferred restaurant because of its location, I will definitely be back. Upon perusing the vast menu, I ~~~KNOW~~~ I'll find something that is a ten. I am positive I will.

A big ole sports bar with about a 1000 big screens with multiple college basketball games being broadcast on an early Saturday afternoon when we visited. My Philly burger was cooked to my liking and the onion rings were perfect; nothing to complain about; same for my wife's French Dip. Service was efficient and pleasant and we were able to get in and out quickly to make it on time to the cinema nearby. I enjoyed the 40 minute experience more than I expected and would not hesitate to return for beverages or watch an important game. I wouldn't return solely for food, but with a cool sports vibe and a respectable product coming from the kitchen; it makes Brewtop a solid choice for a sports bar with kitchen in the Northland.

"A nice little sports bar that's located in a strip mall just off the highway, right next to the hotel we were staying at. Went in for lunch and had the daily special, which was a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and fries for $12! All of the prices are very reasonable, especially as someone coming in from Colorado! We also tried the cheese curds, wings, and loaded fries. The sandwich was packed full of steak, mushrooms, peppers, onions, and cheese! The steak was tender and well seasoned. The fries were fresh cut, hot, crispy, and way too salty, lol. They were still good, though. The cheese curds were hot crispy and creamy. Seasoned with what looked like parsley, they were also delicious. Wings were perfectly cooked! Hot, crispy outside with a juicy, well cooked center. The loaded fries were the same. Good, not great. A little salty, but git evened out by the cheese and sour cream toppings. Above all, the server was sooooo nice! The food came out incredibly fast and fresh! We were very impressed!! They also serve their drinks in Ball aluminum cups! Great choice for sustainability!!"
"Get the boneless wings! The atmosphere isn't great. Low end bar and grill. But the food is so fantastic."
"Sporty vibe! Friendly staff! Good food! This restaurant checks all the boxes! Chris and I had Fried Pickles for appetizers. They came hot, lightly-breaded and packed with delicious sour crunch, it made my mouth water!!We shared a Giant Pork Tenderloin Sandwich with Seasoned Fries and a Cubano with Tots and Chili. The tenderloin was huge and well-seasoned. The Cubano was okay. The Fries were fresh and crispy."
"Definitely a fun atmosphere and vibe! Pretty clean and neat too. We had a party of 13 and our service was excellent. Everyone was very happy with their meals. I hear the tenderloin is the thing to get but my burger was delicious. Fried pickles were so good too! I enjoyed the belgian ale. The chips and salsa were unlike any I have had before. The chips were freshly made to order, well seasoned, and thick but a little soft which doesn't sound like it would be good but they were absolutely delicious. The kind you just can't stop eating. Never had chips like that before but can't stop thinking about them. Should I find myself in this town again I will most definitely be back!"
"Perfect Hang Out PubIn the very heart of downtown Lee's Summit sits Brick's. It doesn't have a gourmet menu or a high class clientele, but it does have an honest neighborhood vibe. Should you be looking for glitz and glamor just go across 3rd Street to 3rd Street Social and you'll be fine. But if you want a more relaxed evening with regular folk for a beer and a burger, Brick's might be your place. There is nothing wrong with tailoring your expectations. As expected, there is no private lot, but downtown Lee's Summit is best enjoyed strolling its shop filed streets, after finding that elusive parking spot. Should you require a handicap space there is one right at their front door! The decor is an honest neighborhood bar feel, usually filled with a high percentage of regulars - the must be coming back for a reason! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Drinks and food (apps and handhelds) are affordable. In fact you can pile up your hot dog into a serious chili dog at no additional cost (but a great deal of added enjoyment). Entertainment is as expected with trivia nights and such, but also the only cigar night in town on their patio one night a week. So skip the glitz and stop by for a friendly drink and some pretty good wings. You will be glad you did."
"Very friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere and felt like home. The food was very good. I had a hard time picking food because everything looked so good."
"Stopped in to grab a late dinner and watch some football. Lots of TVs and friendly service. Portions were huge and great taste. The tenders could have fed 2 people and the the burnt end chunks were enormous yet extremely tender and juicy. Don't sleep on this place"
"Rachel was fantastic! Super sweet and helpfulThe v-sandwich was spot on. Highly recommended!"
"Usually stop in for drinks, but needed food on this particular trip. I was blown away. I am not kidding: the burger I had rivals and was probably better than anything else Columbia. Fries were crispy and hot. I will 1000% return for food very soon. Service was great as well. Tables and booths were clean."
"We have fairly recently found this place even though we've known about it for years & we love it! Every Thursday night they have Taco Thursday & they are $1.50 each which includes their homemade mild salsa & Lava salsa. They are fantastic along with other Mexican dishes to choose from! The next runner up is their Froggy Fries! I like the crunchy crinkle fries that are topped with cheese, onion, bacon, and drizzled with thousand island dressing. Trust me the thousand island really works! If you want, you can have the froggy fries with regular fries, tater tots or waffle fries. I've had the BLTC and it was really good! My son had the burger said it was good and my husband had the chicken Philly cheesesteak and said it was also really good. Oh and a while back they sold so the building became a non-smoking restaurant now which is great! Go give this great local spot a try!"
"Captain's has become our favorite sports bar destination. No matter what app or entree you get, the food is always great. The service is amazing and never disappoints. I can't say enough positive things about this place. If you're looking for a fancy restaurant, this isn't it but if you want a great sports bar with great food and great service, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!!!!"
"The food was great I had the full pound of boiled shrimp dinner. The atmosphere was perfect but the best part was the service. Friendly quick service with a smile. My first time there and I will go back for sure. Thanks"
"Great barbq! We usually get a pound of pulled pork and a pound of brisket AND the yummy spicy barbq sauce."
"Nice little hole in the wall bar in Shawnee.Drinks are reasonably priced. The crowd on the few nights I've been there has been very friendly while I'm up there butchering some karaoke songs. :) I've made a couple new acquaintances there already. This is a smoking venue, and should remain so after July 1st, due to them being a 'private club'."
