"I think that everyone has been discouraged a time a two when searching for a solid workout studio which then ruins your motivation to work out. All I can say is this place is awesome! They offer so many types of classes and a full range of times for those with busy and/or random schedules. The very first class I took was 3 weeks ago with Megan, and her R.I.P.P.E.D. workout kicked my ass but she knows how to keep pushing you without being pushy. I was SO SORE that next day, but I was excited to check out the different classes they had to offer and I lived to tell about it. I'm starting my 3rd week of workouts and I actually looking forward to sweating and working my ass off! It's also nice seeing that the instructors actually learn your name. There's no harm in trying it out!"

Physically the studio is a great space: lots of light, clean, and well maintained.Lauren, the owner, took me through various movements, paying close attention to how my body responded.It felt great to move my entire body. I thought I'd give an update to my review of the Zen Zone, you know, one that's a smidge less zealous.The Zen Zone is the type of place that genuinely makes you feel like home from the time you step in the door. I've been to several other studios, and sometimes you get the vibe that you're not a part of the "cool club". I've not once got this vibe since I started coming here!They offer many different types of classes, from hot yoga, to vinyasa, to hatha, and even more meditative offerings. Each class has its own sort of feel and group of "followers", which helps you buy in to what the Zen Zone is selling. From a financial standpoint, they are definitely one of the more reasonable studios in the area, with their unlimited plan being one of the most reasonable I've ever seen.The only complaint I have about the Zen Zone is that occasionally they have a rogue surprise substitute instructor, which is never quite like having the original teacher that I tend to get used to. Other than this mild complaint, I have a hard time finding any beef with this business, and hope that more local Lee's Summit businesses follow some of their tactics! The Zen Zone has a good thing going, and I hope is around for many years to come.

Well designed, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've gone to two classes and they were challenging yet approachable for the beginner. If you are looking for a classic studio, this may not be your place - not bad, just a warning. Classes are designed so you use yoga mats on the floor. The teachers incorporate props (weights, circle, etc) occasionally. All-in-all, a great place to get a work out!

My favorite place to exercise in Shawnee / Lenexa area. Megan is the most amazing owner and I have trainer with maggie since more than a year now. They have different programs for everyone's needs. A lot of slots available for working professionals.

There are a lot of Pilates and yoga studios available, so why should you go to Thrive? Everyone works out to better themselves, but what that means to each of us is different. The instruction you get at Thrive has no preconceived notions of what a "better you" means. Each person's needs are evaluated on an individual basis and the instruction is tailored to achieve your goals. For me, the constant sitting I do during work often leaves me feeling tight and sore. Every time I take a class at Thrive, I leave the class feeling better and like my muscles have been opened back up and can now work the way they are supposed to be functioning.If you are looking for a place that is focused on individuals and will help you become a healthier and stronger version of you, Thrive is worth trying out.

I have been a client of this studio since 2012. I love it! The instructors are fantastic and know their stuff. There are class times from 6A to 6P most days. I always feel like I can find a time to workout every day. The classes range from equipment pilates (on the reformer) to barre, TRX and mat pilates. Each class is different so I never get bored and my body never gets used to it. I'm sore somewhere after each class! Excellent blend of cardio and strength. I am in the best shape of my life and feel super strong.

"I cannot say enough good things about Better Bodies Pilates! I was very skeptical going in for the first time. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money on 3 solo sessions. I am SO THANKFUL that I did. Pilates has changed my life and my body. Honestly, I think of it as a hybrid between physical therapy and a work out. I have pain in my back, neck, and shoulders. I've been to a physical therapist and chiropractors. Nothing helped. As for work outs, I have had several personal trainers. Nothing worked. Until Pilates! Becky is amazing on so many levels! She really listens to the client and comes up with the best plan, which is tailored to meet that particular client's needs. I strongly recommend that, if you are new to Pilates, you book the solo introductory package. It is well worth the money!"
