"I visited the crossroads location. Very limited parking in the lot. Street parking is a challenge.Love the vibe from the moment you enter....calm and relax. There is a bar area and a full service bar. We stopped in for lunch so no drunksOur server was very attentive. Being our first time there we asked for additional time to review the menu. A seasonal menu is also available. We ordered from the lunch menu which was reasonably priced. Our orders arrived quickly and the aromas and flavors of our selections was a delight.Definitely give Lulu's a visit."
"My husband and I have been loyal visitors of Blue Koi for years, and it's consistently our favorite spot, especially for their Chinese pot roast. We've enjoyed it both with noodles and in noodle soup, and it's always flavorful and comforting. We've also tried their stir fry chicken dishes, chili wontons, and various dumplings--all equally delicious. The calm, welcoming ambiance and excellent service make every visit enjoyable. We discovered this gem through the Triple D show, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves Chinese food, especially for the pork shoulder pot roast."

"Women Rule the World and this spot was so welcoming from the staff to the ambiance to the flavors. The beer, wine and sake list had all we needed to start off a great dinner. Apps were hot and quick and the entrees, especially the Panang Curry Veg, was full of great spice. Lovely spot to meet some friends and family!"
"Came here due to being in the area during lunch time and Asian food being one of my favorite cuisines. I tried the Spicy Szechuan hot Pot, sub the fish for shrimp. 10/10 it was really delicious and flavorful. It literally came in a cooking pot, never seen anything like it before. You can definitely share this with someone, it was enough food for 2-3 people. They have a table where you can get extra sauces and confidence to go with your food. My server did a great job explaining the menu to me. Their Thai tea was to die for! If you like really spicy food you'll have to add spice to this, it wasn't spicy enough for me. I still give it a 10/10 due to the flavor, the quality of the veggies, meat and seafood. They put whipped cream on top so if that's not your thing, tell them to not add it. It literally came in a cooking pot, you definitely can share this with someone. I highly recommend giving this place a try! I'll definitely will be back to try the other hot pots they have to offer. Only issue I had was I still was charged for the shrimp that I subbed out for the fish in the hot pot, I feel it should've been an even exchange."
"Outstanding small Thai restaurant up at the Lenexa/Shawnee line serving up big flavor and fresh food! Whether you are staying in or getting your order to go, the food is made to your liking and everything I've had has been just right.I love Thai food and I almost always judge a spot's Pad Thai first. I figure that if the Pad Thai is a good, then most everything has a shot at greatness. Lanna's Pad Thai is right on target, blending all the right profiles with noodles and protein. We have ordered the Crab Rangoon, crispy wontons with a sweet heat sauce, the spring rolls, and more. Each dish is executed very well and is brimming with flavor. The spice level varies a bit, and medium, for me, usually is enough heat. Lanna Thai spices their food well, not overpowering (unless that's your thing), and the spice complements the dishes instead of dominating them. The Drunken Noodles are another hit, fresh & crispy veggies with the glass noodles in a savory & spicy sauce. Lanna is easy to find and the dining area is small but very well-appointed. Great service, LOTS of to-go activity, and pricing is very fair. The value probably outpaces the price as the food is really good and the flavors will have you back again."
"I get delivery from them all the time, and they never disappoint. Really great, authentic flavors, and everything is very fresh. Highly recommend!"

I just love the vibe in the Crossroads Lulu's! The decor is funky, eclectic, and a little retro. Lots of plants and cozy booths. It can get pretty hoppin on the weekends, so make a reservation if you plan ahead, but I can typically walk in on weeknights. The lot out front (which I swear used to be Lulu's parking) is now mostly hotel valet parking or parking for other restaurants, so you'll have to find street parking or use the paid garage on 22nd. They have delicious crab rangoons - honestly love their appetizer options. Also highly recommend the shrimp pineapple fried rice. Per the name, their noodle dishes are also delicious. Is this the best Thai food in the city? Probably not. But is it tasty and fun? Yes!

We had a great dinner at Blue Koi. We had spicy chili wontons, china moon and dumplings for an appetizer. They were all good but the crispy china moon was a big hit. We all had different entrées and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The chinese pot roast was tender, the fire chicken was a little spicy but not too much...good if you like spicy chili crisp. My favorite was the almond asparagus chicken with noodles...mild, creamy sauce with sun-dried tomatoes, a comfort food dish! We didn't have reservations and had to wait a while on a Friday evening, but once seated, we were promptly served, and the food quickly arrived.

Some of the best Thai in KC! The Pad Thai and Massamon curry is amazing. Also the best crab Rangoon in our area! The service is always excellent. Restaurant is very clean, open, and inviting. We frequent here weekly for how amazing their Thai is. A must try!

Exceptionally fast service, awesome food in a nicely decorated storefront. We had three appetizers and three entrees as well as Lucky Buddha beer. The quality of the ramen and hit pits was top notch. The broth in the udon was deeply flavored and so good! The udon was fantastically, wide, succulent noodles. This was our first time and do happy we found it.

We were craving Thai so ordered via GrubHub. Spring rolls, pad Thai, and red curry. All arrived on time, with the entrees hot and the spring rolls cool just like they were supposed to be. Some of the best Thai we've had since moving to KC! Will have to visit the restaurant itself sometime soon. Thanks for a great dinner!

We came for lunch - it's a pretty standard a Chinese restaurant special. Entrée, soup and crab Rangoon or eggroll. Both my date and I got things we really liked, the orange chicken was good and a little bit spicy. The egg drop soup was delicious and almost a little bit smoky in flavor. The garlic chicken was also good and the hot and sour soup was really tasty. They were decorated for Christmas, which was a fun touch, and the service was really friendly and efficient. Looking forward to coming back!

Lulu's newest location in Overland Park carries with it a lot of the charm of their OG location in the Crossroads, along with a tasty take on thai food that is sure to satisfy any fan of this local brand. I stopped in for lunch a few weeks ago with a friend and found it busy, but easy to get in during the week. Like other locations, they have a great lunch menu, that comes with a side, and is honestly a really good portion for the price. Our server was very kind, and the food was on par with what I was expecting from other visits to Lulu's locations around town. I still feel like Lulu's is a bit unique when it comes to Thai food. If you're hoping for something super authentic, you may or may not find it here. I like what they serve up though, and adding in their unique flair to Thai classics makes it a unique and cravable spot here in the metro.

"Tried this restaurant based on positive reviews from a couple of friends.I we had crab wontons for an appetizer which were great and I ordered orange chicken for my entree. It was probably the best orange chicken I ever had and the portion was big enough that I had left overs for lunch the next day."
"Overall this is a perfect little addition to downtown OP. It's in a great spot by the clocktower, has good vibes, and I think if you know what to order, it can be pretty tasty.I have to preface this like I do my other Lulu's reviews; it's different than traditional Thai food, in my experience. To keep it positive, I will say I have the best experiences when ordering two things, an honestly two things only: Tempura vegetables to start, and share an order of Rainbow Peanut Noodles with my wife. The tempura veggies are fantastic, and comes with an addicting cilantro chimichurri sauce. These are real veggies and lots of them; bell peppers, peas, broccoli, green beans, onions, and some mushrooms. A lot of times at other restaurants, this is filler food like sweet potatoes an giant onion hunks.. not here, it's the real deal. The Rainbow Peanut Noodles when fresh are really tasty too; creamy, spicy (depending on what you specify), and it's a huge serving. I love topping it with their fried garlic and a bit of sriracha for added kick. Service here was friendly, even if everything was running a bit slow on the date we visited. My girls loved the koi pond but watch out as some very small nails are sticking out of the wood around the tank. I can imagine grabbing a patio spot months from now, when it's not a blustery 20 degree day, would be ideal. Nice addition to downtown OP that lowkey has some good ethnic cuisine sprinkled throughout."
"Nice small dessert shop with two types of noodles. The beef noodles soup is very flour full. Asian lady is making those wonderful desserts. I bought various cakes but did not take the photo. A few people came in for to go. It is about noon and Christmas Eve so, one cabinet is empty. You can order cakes as well. Nice small family business."
"Top Soup Does NOT Play! So Happy We Came! My Husband And I Popped In On A Wednesday At Peak Dinner Time And To Our Surprise, We Were The Only Customers! The Ambience Looks Like It Would Be Alot If Fun! It Has A Bar, Open Grill And Lots Of Space For Seating And Hosting. I Know They Are New To The Area And Im Sure They Would Like More Traction. The Food Though SO SO SO GOOD! I Ordered The Top Soup Special With Spicy Soup And Goodnesssss! YES! The Spicy Added So Much Dimension Of Flavor And Really Kicked It Up A Notch! I LOVED IT! The Pork Buns Were Yummy Too! I Would Say 10/10 To Top Soup! I Can't Wait To Return And I Know Their Success Will Keep Growing!"
"Got the General Taos chicken. Good portion size, pretty cheap. My new go to Chinese place."
"Ordered on Doordash, food came hot!! Got the scallion oil chicken noodles, they were packed with flavor and it came with a lot."
"Best bean curd family style in the entire world. I promise. So good. I would sell crack to get some bean curd from this place."
"The hour and sour soup is really good and the garlic shrimp is the best I've ever had. The food is definitely worth it and you get a lot of it"
