"First time in. Ordered the Shredd, pretty dang good. Is picked up some wheatGrass blend. Got a nice discount for being a Planet Fitness member plus caught an item on sale. #Score!!!I didn't think to ask if the smoothie was non-dairy. Oh boy, that large might do me in."
"Delicious teas and shakes. Variety of flavors. Excellent customer service. Friendly atmosphere."
"My wife told me about Paleta Bar and it was a great place to visit to finish off our night. We went about an hour before close and they were still very busy which gave me some hope that this place would be worth the hype... they are! We tried bars that were with fruit and some without. I created an odd mixture of a coconut bar dipped in dark chocolate, topped with oreo on one half, and tajin on the other half. If the worker who made it reads this review, it was one of those odd mixtures that just works in my opinion. It was sweet and a bit savory, and then you get the creamy from the bar itself. I was surprised to see such a great variety of flavors as well! My wife got a banana bar dipped in milk chocolate, and topped with peanuts. The mixture was just right, it tasted how the Reese's banana slices should taste! If you were on the fence with Paleta Bar, it is definitely worth it!!"
"Very helpful staff, wide selection of drink options and my cinnamon cheesecake protein shake was a delicious meal replacement. I will be back."
"I've been going to Ding Tea ever since they opened in Lawrence, though their hours and having to go downtown are sometimes inconvenient. I remembered reading about Presotea in the LJWorld, though just hadn't been able to try it.Decided to stop it while waiting for my take out from Little Saigon to be ready. The staff were happy to answer my questions about the different milk tea's they offer. The Panda milk tea came with white and black boba, something I'd never tried before, and was quite good. Sugar levels were adjustable (I can't stand 100% sugar in milk tea) and so was the amount of ice.Overall, a pleasant experience! If only they had punch cards like Ding Tea."
"LOVE me some Dutch Bros. Indulged often when living in Cali. Now they have answered my prayers and brought locations to KC. Menu is extensive so study up before you embark on your journey to become part of the bro fam. Varieties of all sorts from tea to lemonade to shakes to coffee to sodas. Ask your bro-ista for suggestions off their hidden menu to try new things. I love testing new flavors in a Dutch soda adding cream and soft top to make it an Italian soda. The list goes on."
"Over all a lovely experience. Each bite was filled with tropical fruity flavors that blended together incredibly. Beautiful presentation and the texture was so nice on my tongue. Service was fast and polite. Please check this adorable shop out for some good healthy food."
"City Market Coffee is one of my favorite coffee shops in the KC area. They've got all my favorite things -- delicious breakfast burritos, cold pressed juices, and fantastic coffee. I feel like I'm truly "in the city" when I come here, and I love it."
"Never heard of them before and wanted to try it out. very cheap coffee and affordable prices. the staff like to have fun and interact with the customers. coffee is just at the right temperature so as you get it you can drink it right awaywhich i love about it."
"This cute Korean boba spot is located in college town lawrence KS, my boyfriend and I were looking around and happen to come across this very hidden gem ! Although Parking is always a struggle in this area there is always off the street parking. But anyway back to the location. It is super cute light pink inside with a really soft vibe inside with a lot of drink choices! I got the blue herbal drink which was sooo good and had a light taste to it just how I love my drinks and my boyfriend had the mango strawberry which was a little on the sweeter side, they were both very good! Will definitely be returning when in the area"
"Friendly. Cozy. Healthy. Looking for a quaint spot to get a healthy meal or snack? Look no further. This is such a great gem in town. The staff here was so friendly and welcoming. The peanut butter protein rounds and avocado toast were so delicious. The Java Butter smoothie was a nice way to round everything out. The oatmeal was unique in a sense that it was not overwhelmingly sweet but had a lot of flavor. Nicely done, yall!"
"Great location and fantastic donuts. I make I here a few times per month and the donuts are great each and every time."

Very good popsicles with interesting flavors and topping selection. Service has always been great, and the price is unbeatable compared to other ice cream joints.

Finally a cute tea shop without having to go all the way downtown! I can't wait until we get to a point where I would be able to go there with study materials or a friend. The vibe is cozy and charming, with lots of plants like real orchids and sanserveria. The staff is always friendly and I love that this place also does pretty regular specials and seasonal themed drinks. It's convinced me to try things like winter melon hojicha that became a favorite right away!

Now that this Dutch bros has gotten busier they're SO SLOW. Sat in the drive through for 20 minutes waiting for 4 cars in front of us.

The second stop on our coffee review series... just a hop and a skip away from the amazing Corinth Square. This is Matthias with your experience analysis. I'll keep it short and simple by saying this: the storefront is beautiful and clean. It is the type of establishment that provides the feeling of a big hug from Grammy, aka it just makes you feel cozy and safe. There is also a charming little courtyard outside that you have the option of sitting in! The only downside I discovered while waiting for our drinks was that the rattling of blenders seemed to overpower any conversation inside the store, however that is probably expected of a smoothie place. I would just suggest not coming here on any first dates or anything, unless you honestly don't want to listen to them talk about themselves for an hour. Also, I want to emphasize how incredibly friendly the employees were! Their energy definitely helped to foster an overall positive environment. Coming here was the perfect excuse to be 10 minutes late to work! This is Ella for your smoothie analysis. To be precise, Matt and I both ordered the Cold Brew Smoothie (with this being part of our coffee tour). Starting with the positives...the texture was frankly phenomenal with the perfect creamy, frozen blend. Was the flavor good? Yes. In short the flavor of our smoothies was good, however, we were both hit with other flavors overpowering the delectable cold brew flavor. Matt was hit with a banana tsunami, while I mainly caught chocolate notes and melodies. As two *professional amateur * coffee reviewers and lovers, we both wished for the coffee to be the main act in this smoothie show, unfortunately she was just the understudy. While the cold brew flavor did not pull up to the party the caffeine came in swinging like a wrecking ball...but a controlled wrecking ball. The smoothies left us ready to take on the day, but without any jitters or shakes. As an avid smoothie-gal I feel the uniqueness of this smoothie was not anything special and could be replicated at home, especially with the $8 price tag attached to this one. We are, however, very interested in going back and trying a more fruitiful concoction.

Found this place while browsing KC. Located in the City Market complex. When you walk in you immediately know you are in a coffee shop. The aroma is coffee and the decor has a neat roasterrie vibe.Purchased some whole coffee bean bags of coffee to give away as gifts. There were a variety of blends and there was even a decaffeinated option. The menu is full with coffee options, smoothies, and desserts, wraps, and sandwiches. The food looks all homemade and scrumptious.Hint: Bought 2 bags of coffee and received 2 cups to select drip coffee options which was a surprise and really nice. Coffee is hot and hits the spot!Fair is fair come check this place out. Prices are reasonably priced and they have seating options inside, outside, and upstairs. Come in for a look, stay and enjoy your beverage and support this local establishment.

"Hmm...wouldn't you expect to see newspapers at a place called Street Corner News? Details, details..They did however, have quite a selection of flavored hookah tobacco, cigars, and imported cigarettes. Also, your basic selection of candy, cold drinks and snacks. Not much else to report on this little convenient tobacco shop. Really."
"If you know of a better place to get a strawberry smoothie with boba, please send me a message and let me know! This is quite likely the best I've found in KC. I agree with other commenters that I wish they would tone down their sugar level, but I am deeply impressed at the array of options and the quality of the drinks - the fruit is delightful and the tapioca was perfect. Deeply impressed by our first couple visits, and looking forward to dropping by next time we're in the area."
"The small (16 oz) berry banana blast ($8.25) was packed full of delicious, fruity flavor. I liked the good variety of healthy ingredients available and the ability to create your own smoothie.I found the dining area to be clean and new, while the service was cheerful and efficient. The menu includes bowls, smoothies, juices, wellness shots and grab n go items.Overall, very nice."
"It was my first time here today. I walked in and met ( I forgot her name ) but she was covering for the owner and owns her own nutrition place in Raytown. She was super friendly and even asked my name and remembered it! She explained everything that they make and why once I had told her it was my first time there. She recommended a tea because there was energy in there which I definitely needed given that I was heading to work and needed something to wake me up. She made me a tea and asked if there was a certain flavor I would want and I said I didn't really know/mind and she said she can just surprise me and make something good! and she did just that!! not sure what she made me but it was delicious!!!! I am a chocolate lover/ brownie lover so I knew I was going to go with the brownie batter shake! Both drinks together were $18 which is a little pricey but given the sizes and healthy ingredients in both, it makes sense.Overall, great service and great drinks. I recommend this nutrition/ smoothie/ tea place to anyone who is trying to lose weight/ gain weight/ maintain it but wants a delicious drink without all the unhealthy ingredients!"
"Delicious caramel banana bread protein shake! I always like to try and add caramel to all my shakes."
"My new favorite boba place in town! This place just opened, and we love boba and were excited to try. Super cute decor and chill vibes. The staff was friendly and came by to check on us to make sure everything was good! Good service overall.- Brown sugar Oreo fresh milk with boba (4.5/5): I usually get boba less sweet, but I wanted to try it the way it came. It was pretty sweet but yummy overall! The Oreo was a perfect crunch, and the boba tasted fresh. Next time I'll try half sweet.- Taro milk tea with boba (4/5): Good milky taro flavor. My husband thinks it could be more sweet, but I like how it came. It's pretty much your standard taro milk tea. - Pork roll banh mi sandwich (4/5): I was surprised how delicious this was! Lots of fresh toppings for a crunch, and the pate made the sandwich very flavorful. A bit too much bread vs meat/topping ratio. The portion size is a bit small too, but so tasty!"
"Stopped in Saturday Morning and it was hopping! The owner was behind the counter and offered a sample of a blended mocha drink and a tea. I ultimately chose a peach tea - I went with a large (mega, I think he said?! mega pint ) priced around $7 which was fine by me. I understand these are considered meal replacement drinks but other than including only 1g If sugar and a lot of protein, I'm unclear on the drink's nutrition. It would be cool if this was posted on line or in the store somewhere - and maybe it is but I couldn't find it. Also, the owner needs some help so he can promote and explain these awesome drinks while someone else makes them - which accounts for my 4 star review instead of a 5. In any event, I'll be back!"
"Ordered a pink flamingo dragon fruit bowl ahead on the app for pick up since I had a doctors appointment. Great healthy and fast lunch option. Quality ingredients used. More than enough for one person"
"Coffee is good but the shop is run by volunteers so sometimes can be slow service. Fantastic ambiance for working, reading a book or getting together with friends. Very cozy and comfortable."
"I believe this is the only fully vegan "restaurant" in Columbia. My daughter lives here so when I come to visit we often end up here. It is a grab and go place now but they have some hot soups and smoothies you can get made fresh. There are lots of delicious options in the freezers. Last night I chose a chicken broccoli Alfredo. It was really tasty. My other daughter who isn't vegan likes this place so that speaks volumes for how good the food is. The prices are a tad high but reflect current economy. Got some vegan ice cream to go too. Soy delicious in the freezer. Parking can be tricky but we easily found parking on a side street on a Saturday afternoon in April. Follow me on IG @eatveganwithjoan"
"I have eaten at Nourish several times through the years and they never disappoint. Their entire menu is gluten free which is a huge plus for me since I have a gluten allergy. This time I wanted to try something new. I had the Turmeric Latte and the Breakfast Sausage Gravy bowl. The latte was different but very good. The breakfast bowl was good but I chose fully cooked eggs and I think it would have been better with the eggs over easy. The staff are always very friendly. There is not a lot of seating area but it is a cute space. Parking seems limited but the garage behind Nourish is free during the week if you park there less than an hour. The only downfall is that they are not open for dinner."
"We went to Succotash for an early breakfast. It wasn't very busy inside. You order at the counter and then sit down with your number while they bring out your food. Water is free and self-service. The inside was rustic and cozy. The ambiance was very charming and I loved the artwork they had displayed on the walls. The staff was very nice and friendly. The seating was a bit close, which I normally wouldn't mind, but it did make it difficult for accommodating a 2 year old. My husband ordered the BLET (BLT with an egg). He thought it was pretty good. He loves eggs on his sandwiches and was pleased. I ordered the Egg scramble with cheddar cheese, sausage, and bacon which was also pretty good. The flavor was yummy, but the meat was a little overdone. My daughter got pancakes and ate hers right up. Overall, the food was all pretty good in a nice atmosphere."
"Seasonal menu options are always delicious! Service is consistently wonderful - there's a reason you need to join a waitlist to get a table. Try the grilled cheese or coffee cake and you'll leave happy."
"I had the monkey in the middle smoothie. It was one of the best smoothies I've ever had. The service was great. I was pleased with how quick they completed my order. The ingredients were fresh and sweet. It's always great finding a healthy treat. I'll definitely be returning to try some of their other offerings. It's an added bonus to support locally owned businesses. I love what Kansas City's next generation of business owners are doing."
"Adorable, inspiring and yummy. That really could be the review. My friend needed a raw menu and found this place. We found parking on the next block but I can see this being challenging on a busy day. Also, we were seated pretty quickly and easily. The server was kind and patient and took our order soon after. We had time to settle in and enjoy the surroundings. It's quite inviting and relaxing with cards and questions and good vibes all around. My friend thoroughly enjoyed everything they ordered. I just had lemonade and a bit of food but they were delicious. Wouldn't hesitate to return for a bite in the future."
"This space screams "green and good for you" in the same way that a McDonald's promises greasy and cheap. It's a friendly place to grab a coffee, tea or what I often choose a nice tall glass of kombucha. This time I had strawberry lime kombucha, what a nice pint of healthy brew!"
"This location is under new management, and staff. My smoothies are always perfect, and on time. Christal, the manager helped me to use my app. She showed me how to apply my rewards! The staff remembers my name, and they remember that I always do a 40oz plastic cup, because I end up splitting the foam cup in my cup holders. Customer service like this isn't common these days. Please go by and order, meet the staff, and don't forget to tip!"
"Watch out for that mouthy barista, Alannah! She always get your order right but not until you can get her attention. (Totally kidding!) great service, great drinks and a great place to get coffee. I wish they would put a place in Topeka!"
"This place has come so far. The owners are present and the facilities are excellent. This is a great mix of folks who are looking to get healthier."
"My husband and I went in this morning looking for a protein shake as the smoothie place by our gym (Nektar) was still closed at 8 AM. Advanced nutrition has a huge menu that includes plant based proteins, acai bowls, caffeine smoothies, etc. My husband and I both ordered the mocha PB smoothie and LOVED it. The opening business hours at Advanced Nutrition are definitely great for early morning gym goers. Safe to say this is our new favorite place to grab a protein drink in the area!"
"So good! Great to have a healthy option in the area. Wide range of different smoothies that are not all sugar bombs, although they have a few of those too. We got the Emperor Acai smoothie, Age buster smoothie, and Avocado and Egg toast. Me, my husband and even my 3 yo daughter loved it! Clean little shop and the staff is super friendly. Definitely suggest coming here for a healthy breakfast, lunch or snack!"
"Great place to grab a juice or smoothie! It's also the only place I can find wheatgrass juice shots! The employees are really hospitable, and they keep it nice & clean."
"I workout at a boutique gym on Johnson Drive and Quivira so Buzz Nutrition is just a hop, skip, and jump away. It's so nice to have a local place to grab a smoothie for a nice start to my recovery. Some days I just want something a little special besides yogurt and granola from my own kitchen. They have an amazing selection of smoothies and teas that are sweetened with Stevia. I had the Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal smoothie and it was delicious. They opened a few months ago and it was definitely worth giving it a try!"
