"Great place to have a special meal. I recommend reservations The decor is amazing. There is a nice wine and cocktail menuThey serve bread before dinner. We all enjoyed the meals. The pasta is unlimited and delicious We ended with tiramisu and coffeeService could have been better. No one recommended wine or explained the menu."
"Jasper's is an all time favorite place to dine. Special occasions or just a random Tuesday. Every dish is spectacular and tasty!! We love talking with Kasper as he wanders around the dining room. We recommend Jasper's any chance we get."

"In times past we just order pizzas to go and boy are their pizzas great, but tonight we decided to try something new. We had never been in and sat down at the restaurant so we thought let's mix things up. The Ragu di Manzo is amazing. I devoured it so quickly and the only sad part was I wanted more and my plate was empty. The pork was delicious and the sauce devine. The lasagna is a lot of food. It is amazing and definitely a must try with the bolognese. The lasagna is very cheesy which makes it even better. The two different spritz drinks were dangerously delicious."
"The food it Great and the Service and the Ambiance is really great as well. They sit you down at a seat like in like two seconds and you walk in you tell him how many people you have and they just give you your menu you look at it you just get it and then what you don't need is what you don't eat and then you could take it home if you are not finished with the food that you ate they're at BC Bistro and then you could probably get dessert. I don't know if they have, sir, but all I know that this place has gotten good reviews sometimes bad reviews I don't know but I would recommend everybody to try this place out. It's got really good food. It's got really good service. They say you gonna see and you just wait for your food. I don't think it takes a long time, but I did have to wait a long time but they bring you out your food. Your drinks that you want and then after you get after you want to get your train with your food or whatever you gotta get there and then after you get done eating, you can just do whatever you need to do and go back home chill and then if you get hungry later, you can eat your food that's what this place is all about you take your food to go and then you go home then if you want your food later, you can have your food later you know whatever you want to do With your Food That you ate before you got finished eating there Thanks that's all I have to say about this place :)"
"Lasagna pizza is soooo Margarita very good as well. Pepperoni and cheese niiiiice too ! Lady working very nice and informitive. Will go back !"
"I visited Lawrence for the first time and met some friends at the Mad Greek. What a great recommendation! The restaurant had a nice patio and indoor seating. Parking is metered in front but there is a 2 hour free lot behind. Be sure to order the Saganaki (flaming cheese) appetizer because when your server brings the cheese to your table and lights it on fire the whole restaurant shouts "opa!" The gyros and dolmades are also not to be missed."
"This was a fantastic first visit but mostly due to the food. The prices were super affordable compared to some other Italian restaurants. This visit occurred on a Friday right before 6pm and it was already busy and quite loud. By 6:30 there was already wait! I only know this because we were seated right behind the host. Also when we walked in we noticed how dark it was, so dark our eyes had to adjust before reading the menu.We decided to start off with some basic dishes but one of which happens to be my favorite Italian dish, spaghetti w/ meatballs and fettuccine Alfredo for our daughter. If you can't do basic well, then good chance your other dishes won't meet the expectation. Well, they were both very delicious! The Alfredo was mild and just enough flavor but not too much where you can still taste the noodle. The spaghetti sauce was seasoned just right and noodles perfectly "al dente". There were 4 halved meatballs if put together would probably be a bit smaller than a pool ball (mind you I have shot pool for a couple years now). It even had thinly sliced sautéed garlic pieces! Only complaint I have is that our server definitely forgot about us after getting our boxes. Literally sat there talking with my wife for 20+ mins before finally getting the attention of the host for our check. He was super nice and got our server to bring the check and they both apologized for the wait. Over all a great foodie experience and would have been in and out in less than an hour if we didn't have to wait for our check. We'll definitely come back to try some other dishes we are interested in!"
"First time diners. Discovered that Ricco's is a cozy Italian bistro with a casual steakhouse vibe. The dark interior, candlelit tables, and warm ambiance made it feel instantly inviting. There is outdoor seating, but it was full.We went specifically to try the wood-fired pizza ...we were not disappointed! The crust was a perfect blend of soft and crispy with a slight char, and the fresh ingredients elevated each bite. We choose a classic Margherita but there are other unique flavor/ingredient combinations. Two sizes - 8" and 12" ...the 12" really is ideal for two. Added a Caesar side salad to complete the meal. Service was good, a bit slow, but it was a busy Friday evening. Our server was attentive but not bothersome. Affordable prices. Nice wine selection and bar menu."
"This place is fine. My family comes here because there's a large room we can rent out for when we all come into town. I'm vegan and from seattle, my brother-in-law is vegetarian, and this place can accommodate dietary restrictions (sort of). There's basically one vegan options -- hummus and bread (it's actually very good), Greek salad without cheese, and then they make me some pasta with red sauce and veggies (not on the menu). My cousin is gluten free and they got her some meat and veggies. The vegetarian can eat risotto off the menu, but when I asked about the cauliflower steak I was told there was chicken stock in the sauce (?!?), might want to double check on that bc it seems like it's vegetarian based on the menu description. My cousin's steak once came out way too undercooked and she sent it back. I don't think anyone's been really blown away from the food, and I personally think it's probably a little overpriced for what you get. To his credit, Brandon, the guy who serves us in the separate room every time, is incredibly patient and helpful and answers all our questions and deals with us when we move tables and are just generally chaotic.I think there's two side rooms you can reserve, and one time when we were there the one next door had very loud music and cheering -- we discovered it was a 21st birthday with a belly dancer, so I guess there's that."
"Food was good , service was good , the place was full . We had a good time. The place is very popular , &they have sports on for u to watch ."
"Despite the fact that I have high sensitivities to dairy, Minsky's doesn't make me sacrifice quality or taste!! With highly personable skilled staff guiding me through the menu, I was able to settle for the perfect Dairy-Free pizza!! Since all meals are freshly prepared on order, the wait was eased by the more than welcoming atmosphere which offered open seating both in and outdoor."
"Went here for a family gathering. We had 18 people and The service was AMAZING! from the owners to yhe wait staff they paid attention to every single person. We had som allergy issues and spent time going through everything making suggestions. The fresh bread knots they bring out with fantastic balsamic and oil with small chunks of some veggies in it sooo good. Ordered everything from spin dip to mozzarella stick abd several other appetizers. Perfection. Now, the entree I had marios seafood special IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE! Such fresh giant seafood and the pasta and sauce Devine. EVERY plate is GIANT i am not kidding. The portions will feed you easily twice. Do not miss this place!! They are opening a new location soon. (Sorry about no pictures we forgot was there after a sad occasion, but all we did is smile and laugh there because of staff and owners attitudes and care for us)"

This was a really excellent experience! Our friends in town from Central Kansas wanted to visit Lidia's. Living here less than two years, we had not heard of it. but we were game to try it. Turns out my wife knew of the chef that is the owner of this place.Three of us opted for the special with three different pastas, a salad and dessert. The other diner very much enjoyed his short rib over potatoes. Our server, Susan, was very attentive and provided amazing service in this charming restaurant that used to be a train house north of Union Station. All of us agreed that we would like to return for another meal here. The Special this evening was three different pastas. One of them was a pear ravioli with pepper butter, another was a spiral pasta with some fiery tomato sauce and shrimp, accompanied by a fettuccine Bolognese that was a little light on the beef and pork. That was literally our only complaint. And it wasn't a complaint more like an observation. The Caesar salad here is easily in the top five I've ever had. All of us enjoyed our fabulous desserts as well. This place is a treat!

Pros: Great food! - The food is authentic & delicious. Fresh produce, prepared perfectly, much is purchased locally. Clean - Always clean and smelling of delicious Italian food. Cons: Some (not all, mostly the older guys) of the wait staff are pompous jerks - Depending on who you get is how you'll be treated. Fancy clothing helps, but doesn't always do the trick. Wait time - I'm not exaggerating when I say you'll be there for 3 hours or more. There are several courses and a LOT of waiting between each. It's an event, not just a meal.Expensive - Drinks & side table mozzarella with your meal? Be prepared to pay. Our table of 5 was over $400 and one was a child. To sum up: Dress up (don't forget your thickest skin), come early & plan to stay late, don't forget your wallet $$, & come hungry, you'll definitely love the food and possibly the service...possibly.

I've been to Bella Napoli multiple times and the service, ambiance and food are all SPOT ON!Kliti has been our server multiple times and is a delight. This most recent time we had Katie who was just as lovely. The service really lends well to the ambiance of the restaurant. What I really love about Bella Napoli is that is a neighborhood experience. It's very homey inside and the fact that Kliti welcomes us back every time and asks about my family, is just so great. It feels like you're in a neighborhood spot in the middle of Italy. The food is also so delicious. I've never had a bad meal. Everything is fresh, tasty and unique. There are always yummy specials as well!

It was busy the night we visited with my wife's sister and her husband, but we got in with maybe a 20 minute wait. My BC burger was great, and my bro-in-law enjoyed his ziti. My wife got a salad as she does everywhere and said it was good.An interesting place: wine recommendations with the entrees, and TVs on the wall showing sporting events. The staff was very friendly and the desserts excellent.

Stopped by this new to me Italian Bistro - constantly looking for really good Italian in the KC Metro area - and was hugely pleased with this lovely little place. The ambiance is simple and cozy: linen even at lunch, a small outdoor area on a quiet street, small bar complete with twinkle lights and really friendly people. The lunch menu looked very good and a good value, but I wanted seafood and pasta, linguini and clams or their shrimp and scallops with Alfredo. I chose the latter and was very pleased. The shrimp were large and perfectly cooked. The pasta was 'just so' ardente. Really very good. I was also impressed with the starter salads and the bread service with flavored oil. The rolls are sensational. I preferred the Italian cream cake to take home and trust it will be delicious. Oh! And my wine pour was generous. I am looking forward to coming back!

Def one of my fave little cafés in Overland Park. It's hidden in a strip mall, but it's worth seeking out. Great Italian food, great service, great ambiance- except the fairly open concept kitchen means it's kinda loud. Get the Garbage Truck pizza- terrible name, but it's SO GOOD. Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, & green onions with 2 kinds of cheese on their perfectly done homemade crust.

"The initial atmosphere of the building was not the best. The interior was dated and the tables were cramped together. Despite this, the food definitely made up for it.I ordered the Pesto Alla Pesca and it was delicious, but I had to get extra pesto with it since the dish was light on it. Everyone at our table had good portion of sauce except the pesto dishes. My girlfriend ordered the Alfredo, which was a very thick sauce and we both agree didn't have much flavor, cooking it ourselves would've had a better taste. The service was timely during the entirety of our meal. The only time we had to wait was on our boxes"
"This place came highly recommended from a local, and it is wonderful! The atmosphere is adorable and such a vibe! Love the decor and chandeliers! You order at a counter and they customize your pizza. There's a wide variety available, and toppings you can just about getting any combination you want. They have beers and wines on tap, several drinks in the case as well, fountain drinks too. They have gelato as well, and tons of great appetizers. All the pizza we tried was wonderful and some of the best pizza I've had! Definitely go here on your next trip to Kansas City, it's also very family friendly!"
"This is my go-to spot for pizza delivery on food apps. The food has been delivered 3+ times while piping hot. My favorites are the OSP dip (spicy) and crab rangoon pizza. I haven't been inside for a while but I've heard they are adding a deck out the front, which will be a huge improvement. If you like unique pizza flavors and consistent quality this is my favorite pizza spot in Shawnee and North Johnson County. It's also near downtown Shawnee which now has 3 breweries and a few new cocktail bars. Highly recommend!"
"I went to Dominics for the first time with my family. We ordered the cheese pizza, a Dominic Calzone and some breadsticks. We enjoyed the food and look forward to trying something else on the menu."
"Maggie, our server was amazing and we were here to celebrate my grandson's 11 year-old birthday. They were getting ready to close, but they accommodated us and we couldn't have been happier! The Manager was friendly and welcomed us and we will definitely be back! We were treated so well by all and we very much appreciated it. The food was excellent!"
"Decided to stop by for brunch on Saturday. Very large interior, tons of natural lighting, and modern, upscale decor. We ordered the donuts upon recommendation from our waitress, and they were some of the best we've had. Warm, house made Italian donuts with orange mascarpone cream, powdered sugar, and pistachios. For our main dishes we ordered a Caesar salad, steak + eggs, and pappardelle pasta. Caesar salad - maybe I don't go to enough fancy restaurants, but I've only seen Caesar salad come out like this a handful of times. Layers of romaine lettuce wrapped together to form one large wedge drizzled in dressing, cheese, and one large parmesan tuile crouton. Bit of work to cut up the salad and mix everything together, but delicious, nonetheless! Would order again. Steak + eggs - sirloin cooked medium rare with two sunny side up eggs, few slices of bacon, potato wedges, and two pieces of toast. Pretty standard steak and eggs, no complaints. Pappardelle pasta - generous amount of rich, meaty, cheesy pasta. Noodles were cooked perfectly. I liked how their brunch menu included a few of their lunch menu items so that we were able to try items from both menus. Hope to come back for dinner!"
"For some reason we had never eaten here and were blown away by the food. This place takes it seriously. Everything was great and the servings are big enough that you'll have tomorrow's lunch. The server was great. The host dude was a bit grumpy but brightened up by the time we left. The dining room is old school and a bit tired, but we found it cool for some reason. Oh, a lot of people like this place as well. The place was nearly full by 6:30 on a Saturday."
"I don't get the negative feedback. Honestly, our wait staff was attentive, engaging, and knowledgeable of the food. Our food was served piping hot. My wife had the basil penne Mac and cheese and I had the lobster ravioli. Both dishes were amazing. They had a wide variety of cocktails to choose from and the drinks we had were all good. Make a reservation when you go, and you'll be just fine."
"Outstanding pizza and staff!Thank you for the quick service and fresh ingredients we loved it"
"Stopped in because we had a gift card from my wife's workplace. Saying I was surprised is an understatement. The staff - very friendly and accommodating. Each person we spoke with was helpful without being over the top. Appetizers - best calamari I've ever had. Mushroom were a delicious surprise. Worked great with my steak. The bread is so light and delicious by itself self. Main Course - my wife's fish (can't remember which one it was. Red snapper I think). Much more than expected but flavorful and light. The entire plate was balanced and she loved the green mint sauce too. Ribeye was larger than expected also. Perfect cook. Fat to meat ratio is on point. Side were very good. Star is the steak. My son's lasagna here was much more than expected. Flavor in the marinara is deep. So much happening and it all works. Even a slight heat on the back side. I didn't try any more than that but he loved it. Pricing - yep it's more than some places. What you get for the increased is a better meal, great staff who seem to care, and plenty of food for the price. We will return here and try more off the menu. It's a nice environment with a comfy feel. We went early but when we left it was filling up. They say it's all fresh prepped and it shows."
"First time having something from this place. It looked a little greasy and was smaller than I was expecting but it's actually pretty delicious! I will be trying to come back in instead of take out next time and try another dish. Again the lasagna was delicious!"
"I really enjoyed my salad. As a lactose intolerant person, I am a bit limited at a pizza joint but Lola added some BBQ chicken to a salad and it was great. I was accompanying my husband to a whiskey event here and I thoroughly enjoyed the Manhattan as well as the 'Drop the beet' which showcases gin steeped with beet. It was amazing: herbal, hearty, fruity. Lola was fabulous and is clearly an expert bartender."
"Oh my goodness get in my tummy! I ordered the brocolini salad and added grilled chicken. Divine. The goat cheese + dried fruit are a goated combo. Mahomes and Kelce perchance. The fam ordered the appetizer sampler first. Fried fare--nothing special. Two got the lasagna and one got the chicken piccata (watch out for the spice on the piccata). I was playing eye tag with their meals. No complaints. Out curtain call was the limonincello cake. Not life changing but as Goldilocks would say, "Ayyy whaddya meaan, I'm walkin here, that cake is just right Tone."Ambience? Ngl I felt like an Olathe farmer from 1990. Very upscale and trendy vibe. Service check! The hosts and wait staff were so welcoming and truly made my family's night. Eat your heart out Prairie Village!"
"We've been going to this Minskey's location for over 30 years and will continue going for the next 30. We are always satisfied with the service and pizza!"
"Giovanni's is a great locally owned deli and Italian restaurant. They serve fresh, homemade Italian sandwiches, pasta dishes, and sides. You can purchase meat by the pound from the deli as well to enjoy your sandwich combinations at home or on the go. They offer inside dining, a drive-thru, and carryout. We love their toasted ravioli, pasta with meatballs, and sandwiches. Delicious!!"
"The PERFECT drive-thru pizza joint! And, their combo pizza meals are a really great deal. We ordered a little bit of everything but ended up LOVING the basic pepperoni pizza the most! Would definitely recommend!"
"In town for a wedding. Bride recommended Tusconos, called a day before to see if they could accommodate a party of 20 on a Thursday night and they booked us in their banquet room. We had to pass through the main dining room which had a steady flow throughout the evening. We had a diverse group and everyone of all ages enjoyed their food."
"Came in for a pre race dinner while here visiting in Topeka. Was greeted sweetly by the hostess and sat right away. Server Christal was extremely attentive and patient with me as I was unsure of what I wanted. The salad and breadsticks were delish and the perfect way to start my meal, no need for an appetizer. I got the chicken Marsala and although the portion of chicken was smaller then I thought it would be, the taste was superb. And you cannot beat the price for what you get. Would absolutely go back!"
"Got a recommendation to check this place out from a friend and it may have become I reason I travel to Blue Springs more. The staff seemed great, the venue has a unique charm about it, the food was fantastic! It was my first time in so I kept it to pizza, but I look forward to trying out other parts of the menu."
"My family lovessss Minskys. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. Recommend the bbq chicken pizza and pesto dip app!"
"Me and my Wife had dinner here because of other pics and reviews, we came up from Gladstone Mo. and it was worth the drive, the staff and Chef D himself were awesome, we will definitely be back, I had the tenderloin and I am not really a tenderloin fan but man it was amazing and I could not even finish it, lol could not even make it to the sandwich part haha. It was thick and juicy and the flavors was great. My wife had the Cajun chicken fettuccine, and she said it was delicious and you could tell Chef D made the noodles from scratch. We will definitely be back to try other selections too. And we finished off the meal with Chef D's personal selection of cream brûlée, and I am not sure if I ever had it before but it was very delicious Thank you Chef D and your staff for taking great care of us. This was our first visit but not our last!!!"
"We've been wanting to go here for a long time. A friend of ours recommended it as a great place to get a sandwich. I had a sausage sandwich, tried the clam chowder and a piece of pizza as well. The pizza was fantastic! The sausage sandwich and the clam chowder were both good.My wife had a Panini and a Caesar salad, which she enjoyed. The service was pretty slow and the kitchen seemed a little bit disorganized and chaotic. We specifically came after 1:45 to miss the lunch rush. Will come back another time to try some other things."
"Are you ready! Minsky's is average. You are here for the food so let's talk about it first. I orders a medium margarita pizza with chicken added (pictured bellow) to-go. Upon initial inspection, the pizza looked good. The tomatoes were slightly undercooked but it was no concern. Now for taste! The cheese was chewy, the pizza dough was mildly undercooked and the pizza itself was very under seasoned. To be quite frank, I was slightly disappointed. However, the pizza was very well portioned, and that's a positive. Now let's talk about my experience. I arrived at one of the locations near me 30 min before closing time. The staff was in the process of cleaning so perhaps that's the reason it took us a few minutes to get some service. The service member was very professional in taking our order and that's always great. After our order was made, I sat and enjoyed a game on one of their TVs. It took roughly 15 min to receive my order, pretty speedy service! Don't get me wrong if you are looking for a abundance of toppings, they have you covered. If you are looking for large fillings portions they are definitely the place for you. Taste wise, I unfortunately would not recommend this restaurant. Props on the quality service!"
