"Such a fun place! It gives a West Bottoms vibe, but without the crowds and lines! I love that it feels like you're in a tiny quaint town, but just minutes from the city! Each booth offers something unique and special! They have hand painted pieces and true antiques, trinkets, and brand new things! The staff is SUPER friends and helpful!! I can't wait to go back!!!"
"The resurgent West Bottoms antique shops roll out the carpet on the first weekend of the month, loaded with food trucks and open doors all throughout. Guys, trust me when I say at some point your girlfriend/girl who is a friend/spouse/mother WILL want to come to this sometime. I can admit, it's pretty fun rummaging through the shops. We find ourselves in the Hello Sailor shop more than some of the other ones because it definitely has the best layout. Some of the other shops are multiple floors with crowds and narrow staircases (admittedly part of the charm of the older repurposed buildings) that don't make it quite as easy to navigate. Hello Sailor has a wide spread floor, less clutter, and more quality options. I've noticed in a lot of these antique shops that the first 60 seconds can really determine if you're going to like what they have. If you're seeing mustard yellow couches and rows of cartoon farm animal cookie jars, it might be time to head to the next shop.Bonus, they have public restroom in the middle of the shop. Our latest excursion had us looking for a coffee table. My wife has a good eye and spotted a kitchen table and figured we could trim the legs on it. While it wasn't marked, it didn't take long to find someone who confirmed it was for sale, texted the owner and came back with a fair price. Once you buy furniture, you can move your car carefully through the crowds out front and take a spot by their loading bay. They'll have their staff bring it out and help you get it in the car if needed. If you aren't able to fit it in your car that day you just save your receipt for the next time you can come in and they'll get it out to you."
"The cutest little plant and book shop! Love how things are sectioned and they have nice little kids corner too. A great place for a gift for friend and family or just yourself!"
"This is a great shop! I believe their main presence is online, but they have a great store in the Westwood Hills shopping district on the corner of 50th and State Line Road. I was nearby at Hi Hat grabbing coffee and remembered my wife was eyeing some heart cookie cutters for Valentine's Day cookies with the kiddo. They had nice ones here, along with Pickwick candles, pillows, and other nice home decor. The shop owners are all friendly and were helpful as we quickly perused the shop. Love this little corner of Westwood Hills as it is, and having this shop is just another reason to love it."
"If you have a yard, a pool, garden, a sunroom, a she-shed, and/or just like colorful funky decor, don't miss this place! This outdoor shopping wonderland is a riot of color, and includes many items with a Mexican flare. There are ceramic, glass, and metal pieces, from birds, dinosaurs, and frogs, to cacti and palm trees from tiny to towering! And they offer you a selection of free little bottled margaritas or water so you can sip and shop!"
"LOVE the selection!!! From bigger items like armoires, shelving, & tables to smaller decor -- this is a one-stop shop for everything your antique heart could desire! My mom has been looking for a handmade dining table for months & we ended up leaving with this beauty"
"finally changed the hours to 8pm instead of 6pm !!!!!love this places competes with any others in the areaexpanded recentlyand they are putting in their own brand of BBQ food stopopens in october"
"What a wonderful evening! Lesli and jimmy are so nice and the place is beautiful! Music was entertaining, food was great and inside was amazing w all the variety of gifts and clothes etc. will be back! A must go"
"Don't judge me... guys can like this store too! While this store predominately brings in hundreds and hundreds of middle age women who dress well and have money to burn, my wife and I love visiting this store for inspiration. I love making furniture with wood, and my wife loves everything about this store. Together we can spend hours walking around with wide eyes looking at everything this gigantic store has to offer. I can't wait to make a dining room table similar to the one I saw here. My wife likes this place because it feels a lot like Nell Hills, but doesn't have the exorbitant price tag. Very similar items that you find here are significantly less expensive than Nell Hills. However, they are still probably more expensive than you like. If you are looking for a great place to go for home furnishings, interior decorating, seasonal decorations (especially Christmas), this is your store!"
"We've purchased Trapp Candles for years now -- there are several Oklahoma City retailers who sell these incredibly good, highly scented, well made candles. The Orange-Vanilla and the Tuberose candles are my personal favorites, but my husband (himself a native of Independence, Mo) tends to lean toward Trapp's Jasmine Gardenia fragrance, as well as the (newer) Hibiscus Prosecco fragrance. We often give Trapp votives as gifts -- they're perfect as stocking stuffers."
"This is my second time using In Full Bloom Too for sending flowers. And they do NOT disappoint! They arrived for my wife even earlier than expected! They arrived on the correct date. But, it was earlier in the day which was nice. The woman who delivered them was also very friendly. Ordering online is very easy. I would recommend this florist to anyone in the area. This is the only place we use now."
"I've visited RE twice now; once on a First Friday, and the other on a regular Saturday weekend. Not surprisingly, there is a lot more to choose from on First Friday, but you will still see some neat things the rest of the month. The booths flow very nicely throughout all three floors. There are a few booths which are 'pinterest gone crazy', but for the most part, their things are fairly 'classic' looks, even if they are pinterest inspired. Customer service isn't too bad; some will ignore you, others will actively offer to help you without being pushy. There was ONE booth on FF that the vendor was more concerned about her clique and social activity than the customers who were trying to look at the items, so I ended up skipping it. Sadly, it's a booth for a store that I just love at their retail site. This will always be on my list to stop in."

This is a great antique mall with (mostly) reasonable prices! Way too many antique malls these days are FULL of people trying to resell modern stuff or "upcycle" some poor piece of unsuspecting wooden furniture into a beige-painted nightmare. There was a lot of genuine vintage here for good prices. I came home with a large vintage crocheted bag, a vintage Christmas card, and a great vintage Halloween placemat for under $20. It's a bit small as far as antique malls go but they use the space well and have a lot of vendors! The guy at the counter was also really nice. And they have well-maintained bathrooms!

Well first of all, I love the name. I pretty much cannot say it without smiling. The thing I like most about this particular antique store is that it's well curated, and as a result relatively uncluttered. I didn't see a ton of stuff that was my personal aesthetic, but I could at least recognize that the majority of stuff was quality merchandise. Also, they had a good number of large furniture pieces that I particularly liked. I'd definitely come here if I had lots of money and a great big loft. Some of the their oversized banquette tables were just stunning. I will say that I think some of the staff could be a bit more responsive. I was heavily inspecting a giant armoire that didn't have a price on it and the sales person (who was like 5 feet away) never bothered to offer any assistance. 20 minutes later I saw her giving all the details on the piece to some lady. What, because I'm in my 30s and a dude I'm not worth trying to sell expensive antiques? You don't know much about the gays, lady.I trust that was an isolated incident, however. I like this place, and I'd be glad to stop back in.

Plants AND books?? My two weaknesses! Monstera's Books is a super cute addition to the downtown OP area. You can tell the vibes are going to be great the second you walk inside. The staff was so kind, welcoming, and helpful! They have tons of books crammed into this small space - from fiction to travel to kids to classics! And the plants are lowkey cheap (way less expensive than other plant stores in the KC area). Love supporting a woman owned business and indie bookstore!! They have some parking available in a lot in front of the store, but on a busy weekend, you might have to find street parking.

Wonderful for a little boutique shopping and a little bit of libations downstairs in the "speak easy". The patio area is is fabulous for weekend music with friends. Isn't not to far from a winery and a cider mill. Shop and stay awhile.

"There are millions of furniture stores and billions of furniture inside of them - and it's enough to paralyze a girl from decorating her own damn room with so many options her head explodes! So let me make it simple. Traditions Furniture is a great stop of you like the following:1. WOOD. Hearty woods, dark and rustic and moody. I knew a few families growing up that decorated around wood and their homes smelled like this store, with a little hint of bacon - strange but I promise it's dead-on. TF doesn't offer any light woods, nothing to brighten a room - it all looks amazing in candle light, VERY cozy and warm surroundings.2. Nothing modern. Nothing. It's not too feminine with the abundance of leather goods and rigidly shaped lamps. There is no silver, chrome, simple, mod anything. 3. Cheap art reproductions. The paintings were large and well-framed (possibly by the many framing shops around the Santa Fe neighborhood - there is an ungodly amount of them). But among the monolithic pieces, nothing I saw was over $400, and most of it was between $100 and $200. And these are statement wall-hangings here - so their prices are surprisingly affordable if you are looking to accessorize the home. 4. Lamps. Also affordable, and plenty to chose from, was their collection of table lamps, most of which were low-lighting and tasteful, classic pieces. I found a few African-inspired and Victorian style lamps I thought were interesting and for only $25 to $50! AND they offer a coupon at the door that cuts the price of one home accessory item by 25% until after December 1st - so jump on it.5. Traditional Christmas decorations. They had huge wall hangings with phrases like, "Hearts come home for Christmas" and "Your husband just called and he said you could by anything," (how dark ages is that last quote?!) They also had tons of those collectible Santa dolls some women like so much around this time. You know - I would love this place more if it were a little more Comfort Sofa and a little less "this is the men's smoking room.""
"I love this place. The seasonal options are wonderful. Staff is amazing, kind, creative and informational. The shop is cute, gives a lot of ideas but sometimes the prices are a little higher than other places that you can get an identical item. I have found lots of my Christmas and fall decorations here"
"Mary Margaret's is an adorable consignment store in Lee's Summit. Everything is decorated pink, and girly, and they have scarves and handbags and accessories everywhere. The ultra- soft carpeting in the dressing room makes trying on clothes comfortable and fun. Very organized with perfect prices. Not only are the prices cheap ($5-8 for shirts, $9-11 for jeans, $15-19 for dresses) but they are always have 20% off sales on their merchandise. It's not necessarily ALL brand named like Plato's Closet, but while Plato's closet screams "I'm a young pre-teen who loves nothing but Hollister and skinny jeans", Mary Margaret's gives the impression of "I'm a nice lady who loves a staple jewelry piece and a classy high heel.""
"This place is a gem! Vintage leathers, furs, clothing. Mid century modern furniture. Local artisan goods for sale...I love getting lost in here on a weekend. The staff are kind and you can tell they love their job. Great place to grab a coffee and browse. I've bought a dresser and some art from here and have been super happy with my purchases--always refer friends here!"
"What an eclectic and unique store! I visited here on Small Business Saturday and fell in love with the charm and feel of this business. If you are looking for something for that hard to shop for person, this is the place. They have great decor pieces, one of the kind jewelry, and it is all for an affordable price. Check out this one of a kind store for your next Christmas, Birthday, or Thankyou gift!"
"This little antique boutique is my favorite. The owner carries a mix of antique pieces as well as new items such as jewelry and purses. She has it set up in a way that is just inviting and makes you want to buy something. If you enter this store, you will buy something. Her prices are reasonable and the quality of the merchandise is top notch. If you love boutique atmospheres or are just looking for something different as a gift, this is the place to find it."
"This is a hidden gem in Raymore. Actually hidden in a strip mall. They're open for breakfast & lunch and both are amazing! For breakfast we always get the Greek omelette. Their biscuits and gravy and so good and cheap! For lunch they have the best Rueben in Kansas City! And their gyros are my favorite around. They make everything from scratch including their breads for their sandwiches, tzatziki and thousand island on the Rueben's. Don't forget to pick up one of their many homemade desserts, or coffee!"
"Such a darling and creative store. Stopped by this week. Plenty of rustic farm items and real antiques. Lots to choose from and owners are so helpful and friendly. Must stop in."
"What a cute store with some great decor and accessory pieces! There were so many different things to look at in the store, I could have spent hours in there looking at the art and accessories. If you are looking for Christian inspired gifts, this is THE place to go in Lee's Summit. They have just about everything! I loved how they put all the sale stuff right as you walk in the door (I couldn't resist a pair of earrings that were 50% off!) There were cute accessories, jewelry and clothing as well as home decor and gift items. This is a great shop to pick up a lil something for a birthday present or a housewarming gift. Check it out!"
"This store has a wide variety of top quality florals and various decor items.Excellent personalized customer service."
"I'd visited here before, but never with the fortune of finding a good deal. Two weeks ago, I found a coffee table and end table that would fit my new living room remodel, and I was pleased with the condition and price. I ended up purchasing the floor model since they were discontinued. During the purchase, I asked the saleslady to hold my items for a week and wrap them in plastic for me so that when I returned for pick-up, I wouldn't have to worry about scratching them. The lady didn't seem very involved in her aim to be appeasing and thought that her response, "Sure" was just off-putting. Upon my return, the items were not wrapped. I wasn't surprised; however, the four people who brought the items out for me to put into my car quickly wrapped the furniture in plastic."
"I adore this little shop! I walked in on a Saturday and was promptly greeted by the owner of the shop herself. She gave me plenty of time to just browse and enjoy the lovely set displays. I personally love when I'm not followed around by a salesperson, let me look!! I asked a few questions and found her to be genuinely interested in me and my personal style. I see some other reviews saying they were ignored here, I did not feel ignored for one moment. If you want to update your home decorating but not have a "mass merchandiser" look, start here for unique ideas, suggestions and products."
"I can't say I was really wowed by this collaborative boutique as I went hunting for Mother's Day gifts while in the area. It's intriguing to have a gigantic space with a handful of local boutiques, so I like that aspect. It's really a sizable space out in Prairiefire, and easy to park around there because it's the whole development dropped right onto a gigantic field. I saw some little necklaces that say "monogram" but then only have one letter. I asked the clerk if we could complete the monogram (with middle and last initials, naturally) and she said no that's just how they are. I get that it would be tough to do that on the spot but I would gladly custom order something like that to get it right.Wasn't a ton of help inside this space on a weekday and didn't feel welcoming or memorable enough to ever pull me back in when gift shopping."
"Buying local is important and if I see something I want I will buy it from even the most snooty and uppity store. I am not afraid to shop in this magical playland of design and wonder even if the owners fly around on brooms."
"We were in the area, and noticed cute window display and decided to stop in. What a cute little store. There were so many things to check out...candles, spices, cups, te towels, shirts, stickers and more.I picked up a few stickers for my tumbler. Would love to stop in again next time I'm in the area.Staff were awesome also! Super friendly and welcoming! Loved the whole vibe!Definitely check it out!"
"I'm a gifter. It's my love language to give gifts. But I'm also thrifty. I like to feed my savings account. How to cope? Homegoods! Some of my favorite never fail departments here:-Linens. I love giving and getting new kitchen towels. Happy "insert whatever holiday". Seriously, if I'm invited to your place in March I'm probably bringing you a hostess gift of cute little towels with shamrocks embroidered on them. Be warned!-Papergoods. I'm a bit of a stationary freak. I must have note cards and sticky notes and embossed envelopes for every mood and season. And if it has a Fleur De Lys on it, you can bet your last dollar, I'm probably going to want to take it home with me. Oh, and if you're my friend you will likely be giving a beautiful set of your very own before too long. -Kitchen gadgets. From unique single piece plastic containers to fancy zesters and avocado slicers, if you've seen it elsewhere for big bucks, you'll probably find it here for less. -Pet stuff. Great gifts for those raising "four legged children". Fancy dog biscuits, leashes, toys..etc. Fluffy and Fido are both treated like kings here. (Seriously, I have a friend who is always saying cats are underrepresented in the pet accessory world, not here!)"
"Another fabulous experience at Decor & Co! I love bringing clients to shop for furniture, fabric and accessories to refresh their homes! A few new accessories or pieces of art or an amazing lamp can really revive a stale look. Gina has an amazing eye for design and I love her input when making selections with my client. The prices are great too! As a home stager I love to shop here for gorgeous and affordable accessories! Their new store is on 119th St in Rosanna Square between Price Chopper and Hobby Lobby. You need to stop in and see the amazing collection!"
"What a fun store! Lots of beautifully curated arts, jewelry, gifts and home goods. I love how anything I picked up or inquired about, the owner (?) knew the name, where the artist was from and some sort of little anecdote. If I were pulling together a gift basket, this place would definitely be my 1st stop! Nice that they offered a day of shopping by appointment and that we were able to snag a spot. I'll be back next time I'm in KC."
"I've driven by this thousands of times. I saw them on a recent Zip Trip Fox 4. So we drove out there expecting a few boutique shops. I did know that it's owned by a past employee of Pryde's old Westport, which I love. Building one is exactly Pryde's old Westport minus the pies. Building 2 is full of Fiestawear. Building 3, Pryde's. Building 4, not sure. Building 5, boutique items but not much. More cooking supplies. I think the large building is an event space. No where to eat. ( not even coffee, pies or pastry). Keep that in mind if you come out here. Literally unless you want see somewhere for a trip, you can go to Pryde's. They do sell a small amount of Vera Bradley, and a few clothing items. I saw a small amount of hand made soap, which I was going to buy. But I wasn't that impressed."
"This is a cute little shop in Waldo. We walked in by accident, but will definitely return when we are looking for a gift. The staff was very friendly and passionate about the shop and their products. They have very cute baby items, home decor and just random fun gifts!"
"I was so impressed with this coffee shop! I tried several of their tamales with my partner the pork, beef, and veggie. We also tried the banana-leaf wrapped Oaxaca tamale, with rice and beans. Everything was delicious! I had the dirty horchata, which was a perfect mix of authentic horchata and coffee with notes of Abuelita Mexican chocolate. My boyfriend had the hot coffee, which was also wonderful! Prices are very reasonable. Everything was served in beautifully crafted cups, and service was friendly. The shop itself is full of stunning pottery pieces, handmade candles, and other goodies. It will be a must from now on when we visit KS City!"
