"Overall, I really like Woodside and most elements of it. It's got nice equipment, separate areas for tennis, spa services, and is essentially two gyms with multiple buildings. I've been going here many years and hope to continue. It's a little bit of a two part review in that I feel like the staff is doing a good job with Covid precautions in most ways. They wear masks, have dedicated cleaners, lots of wipes for equipment, hand sanitizer, drinking fountains shut down, added virus filtration, and spaced out cardio machines. The members are another story. I feel like I might literally be the only person who wears a mask when working out. Sure, the policy states to enter the building wearing one, but everyone takes it off immediately. I'm sorry, but it's not that hard when working out to wear it, it's just not. It defeats the purpose of a mask policy if no one wears it indoors, and being around someone with a compromised immune system, it's giving me pause on continuing to go here during the pandemic. Some suggestions?-Enforce mask wearing in the weight areas. I do understand enforcing it for cardio is a different animal, but the weight areas can deal with it. I do, and it's been fine. -Maybe consider workout appointments similar to the group classes for all Woodside visits? This could help ensure it's not super packed, which at times it is. (Side note, is an area is packed, I leave and just call it to be safe). If not appointments, maybe limiting capacity could be the play.-Enforce the distancing. It's frustrating to be mid set and have someone come up a foot away huffing and puffing on me. I ain't about to go viral in confronting someone but I've certainly been put off by it. Overall though, I like Woodside and their staff. The food is also good, and love the pool (and the fact that they keep it open if it's warm well past Labor Day)."
"This place has come so far. The owners are present and the facilities are excellent. This is a great mix of folks who are looking to get healthier."
"I am shocked and appalled that I have never reviewed Dance Fit Flow. I attended their first week of classes when they first opened and I bought a pack of 10 classes since it was right near my office at Crown Center. About 2 weeks later, I found a new job at Sprint Campus and didn't go back to the studio, despite still having like 8 passes left. Eventually, I decided to get serious about my fitness and thought I should come back and use up my passes. 9 months later, I have attended at least 1 class a week since then, and depending on what is going on in my life, I may attend up to 3. I get the 5 class monthly pass every month, and it is money well spent. Kerri and Lauren have done a great job with the studio. They have a terrific mix of dance and dance/fitness classes, from beginners tap, heels, Werq, contemporary, and way more. If you like to move your body to music, this is the place to go! They have classes for all dance and fitness levels and their pop up classes are so fun. It's so great and it truly is a NO JUDGMENT ZONE! I am obsessed with Miami Heat with Jenn. It really is so much fun and so sexy. You truly feel like you are at a club. I would say it can be pretty challenging for a non-dancer to keep up but, as a long time dancer, I appreciate that it doesn't feel like step aerobics and you really feel like you are doing a choreographed dance. I also will sometimes do the Sexy Core class afterwards which truly does help build your muscles for "sexy" movements. You work on things like body rolls, sexy sit ups, twerking, etc. I'm always super sore 2 days later. That one is exhausting but I can already tell my strength has improved significantly after ~5 classes. I've also done DanceFit, Mixtape, Werq, Sweat & Swag, Cardio Barre, Kitten Heels, and Beginner Tap - not a bad class to be found! Everyone's so nice and the space is gorgeous. I can't say enough good things!"

Adding to my review, I finally took advantage of the spa. I had an hour long massage with Thompson-I haven't experienced this indulgence before and will definitely do this again. He pays attention to every detail from lighting, sound and of course, the massage. He gave me great advice for taking care of certain areas that he noticed were tense. Treat yourself!

The new updates are Wonderful!!! Wow how did I get so lucky stumbling upon this gym! I have been a member since the new owners took over and the transformation of this place just keeps getting better! I absolutely love the new studio and equipment and the brand new sauna and locker rooms are great! I have tried other gyms but the prices were just way too high and not to mention staff at other gyms just don't care. Really love supporting this locally owned business. Can't wait to see what else is in store for element!

I feel so so lucky to be able to dance again! This place is great for adults who danced growing up and want to continue going, complete beginners, or even people who took a break for a little and are returning. The teachers are extremely professional and make the experience super fun. They are also very helpful when it comes to technique and connection to dancing. I LOVE it!

Great people, who listen to you. Very helpful. Although most folks who go there are already super fit, they are welcoming to those of us who have a long time to get there. Better than any big box club you'll find.

"The best kept secret in Lawrence! The Underground Lab offers trainer led bootcamp/crossfit style fitness modules & personal training for individuals, groups & small groups. Even though they're hardcore and the fitness modules and personal training push you to your max they offer something for every level of fitness. In fact they offer their modules in levels 1-5 and of course personal training is customized to your individual needs and fitness level. All of that being said, this is no cookie cutter cardio zoo and you'll be disappointed if that's what you're looking for. When you show up at The Lab, you should expect to sweat and be sore in places you didn't even know existed on your body. Trust me... I know! I've been going to The Underground Lab for the past 6 months and I cannot express in words what this gym, scratch that, this amazing unbelievable wicked awesome power house of fitness knowledge has done to improve my fitness and life in general. The trainers and owner are always available, willing and happy to answer any questions you may have and even show you how to do things better. Most gyms just offer equipment and space. The Lab offers so much more and they truly care about their patrons. With their fitness module packages, at no extra cost to you, they track your measurements and have monthly fit tests to track your progress towards a healthier lifestyle. If you're looking for a place to transform your body and life, this is the place. You should look no further. I would recommend calling and setting an appointment with one of the staff so they can show you the gym, tell you what they offer and suggest what they think would be best for you. I can't wait to see you at one of the modules."
"It's been 8 weeks here now and my 9 year old son likes this gym much more than he ever did at the teaquando "belt factory". The instructors are incredibly experienced and are very good with the kids. They also don't waste time and get right to work so you will get your money's worth, which reminds me, very well priced classes also. Will post more as we put more time in but right now I feel very confident that we made the right decision coming here!"
