Yes, he played music, but even more, he performed the role as our reception coordinator. Like many brides, I originally thought that I needed to hire someone who could just play music. After seeing many positive reviews of Michael's services online, my fiance' Justin and I met with him in person. During our meeting, we realized that Michael was the real deal and that we needed to work with him. Michael explained how he would do much more than just play music -- he would help with planning the reception events with us, he would routinely meet with us throughout the whole planning process, he'd make sure the flow of the entire event made sense, etc. And he did exactly that!We Skyped with Michael on one occasion and also met in person on a few occasions. We also met at our reception site with Michael so he could plan out the event details, the location of the grand entrance, etc. Throughout our planning, Michael also was very prompt to respond via email whenever I reached out with questions, ideas and concerns.Michael told us time and time again that our job as the couple was to just enjoy our reception; his job was to make sure that it ran smoothly. And Michael kept that promise. Justin and I danced, mingled, enjoyed our food, and had a wonderful time at our reception. We never had any question about what's next, where do we go, aren't we supposed to cut the cake at some point? When we needed to perform a specific task at our reception, Michael found us and briefly gave us a reminder.On the music side of things, our dance floor was crowded the entire night. Of course as the bride and groom, we were busy talking with so many people, so we were not on the dance floor too much. Following up with one of the bridesmaids next day, she said, "I was on the dance floor the whole night!" Michael's planning and organization services combined with his DJ expertise was worth every penny. I would absolutely recommend him to any bride and groom looking for a DJ -- and then some. "My Husband and I hired Tim to be out DJ/Photographer for our wedding , when i talked to Tim back in march i told him that my husband and i are not party people at all and that we didn't want anything to loud , i also informed him that we didn't want any rap at our wedding at all since my husband does not like rap AT ALL !! we hired him to take pictures and be our DJ from 11AM to 7 PM. The week before our wedding i could not get a hold of him for anything !! after several attempts of calling/texting him he finally called me the night before our wedding to tell me that he would be leaving Kansas around 6AM and would be in the Ozarks by 10 at the latest, that next morning while my Bridesmaids and I were getting ready i got a text from him saying that he was going to be 30 minuets late for pictures which were supposed to start at 11 and i figured an hour for pictures would be fine but he didn't end up showing up till 12:30!!! we got maybe 10-15 pictures at the bridges where i originally wanted to get all my pictures at , we ended up having to wait till after the ceremony to finish all the pictures up at the church ...... which i was trying to avoid so that we could spent time with my family who traveled so far to join us on our special day which some of them ended up leaving shortly after we were done with our pictures, after the wedding i was later told by one of my bridesmaids that the photographer wasn't even going to take pictures of our first dance till my aunt who was also my bridesmaid mentioned that we would want pictures of our First dance, after the wedding i had my father talk to him abut him being late and he took off a small amount for that, and we were also told that he would expedite out pictures for us and have some of them for us that next weekend , i didn't see any pictures till September 25th , by that time i would have thought that i would have a least seen the raw pictures but we hadn't seen anything!! Before he sent us some of our pictures on the 25th the day before i had tired to text him to ask when we would get any of our pictures. I was told and I quote " Dakkota, would you like a rushed job? I wont put out less than quality products because i want my brides to have the best" end quote when i got the pictures the nest day i was looking through them and every picture is blurry and unfocused and I cant use a single picture I've gotten so far, on the contract it states that I would have my pictures Raw/Edits/DVD within 21 days it has been almost 2 months since my wedding and i have only gotten some of my pictures. As for Tim being our DJ he did play rap like we asked him not to he didn't play all the songs we wanted him too for the intro we wanted Bruno Mars- Marry Me but he played a song by Micheal Jackson, i don't have a problem with him but Tim didn't even consult me before changing the song on us,when it was time for the Father/Daughter Dance He ended up not being able to even find the song i wanted and it took him 20 minuets to find it,the music after the dinner was so loud we could barley even hear ourselves think. i ended up leaving with a bad headache that night. when Tim and his Assistant showed up that morning neither of them looked professional at all , he showed up in baggy shorts and a lose t-shirt and she was wearing Leggings that looked like denim with a t-shirt , now we didn't have a big fancy wedding but it wasn't exactly casual either. Tim is also almost impossible to get a hold of , we have been trying to contact him for weeks now about the pictures and i have barley heard a peep out of him ... and the only time i got a hold of anyone it was his secretary and i had called his cell phone and he was forwarding his calls to his office , Both my mother and Father have tried to get a hold of him and we haven't heard a peep, when my Mother tried to call she said that she got to talk to him for about a second and the the call got "dropped" and when she tried to call again it went straight to voicemail, his inbox is almost always full so you can never leave a message and trying to text him is nearly impossible and when you do finally get a hold of him its either several hours after you called/texted or its a couple days afterwards. I will not be using R2R entertainment for anything ever again, My husband and I are quite upset with how he has handled things and i think someone who id thinking about hiring him should look around to see if you can fund someone that will do the job right and the way you want it ."

Planning a wedding leaves you in a position of having a lot of problems to solve, a lot of new relationships to build, and a lot of putting your faith in strangers hoping that they'll deliver on what they promised. You both, but mostly you Martin :), exceeded my hopes and expectations beyond what I could have imagined.In my opinion, music can claim responsibility for at least 80% of any successful wedding. We've all been to the weddings that are beautiful. The ceremony is short. The booze is flowing freely, even the bride's long-winded father has managed to pull off an entertaining speech, and then the music starts. Sure hearing "Celebrate good time come on" blare from the speaker seems like a bad start, but you have faith. This wedding has been too good. The couple thought of every little detail. Surely this wedding will get better. And then it doesn't. People abandon the dance floor with the same level of disinterest that the DJ employed when he downloaded "Best Wedding Playlists of 2016," hit play on his MacBook, and started swiping right on the phone he conveniently placed on the unplugged turntables he brought for show...or at least that's how it seems.Martin, I can confidently say that you were the MVP of John's and my wedding. When I say this I mean, it would have been a worse wedding had you not been there. Your actions, professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to do whatever it took to deliver on your promise, made our wedding incredible. It's not JUST that you played amazing music that kept people on the dance floor all night long and offered to play the bad guy when our no play list songs were requested, that's the work of a good DJ. You are a super DJ. You single-handedly managed the evening, moving us from one event to the next because as you correctly assumed, we needed the help. But what makes what you did so important, is that you did it all behind the scenes. "A great company to use for your event either big or small. The ease of working with them was phenomenal. Their online page is easy to read and the communication was great. They arrived early and set up quickly. They forgot a bar for the backdrop and left to go pick it up. It was about an hour into the party when they arrived back but they let us keep the booth longer for the inconvenience. It didn't help us since the event ended at the same time regardless of whether we had the booth or not. It was a very nice gesture though. They also offered 10% off the next event because the boomerangs had someone else's overlay on them that they couldn't remove, unfortunately. I would like to be transparent and say that I did not end up using Brandi all the way to completion, but I will say that from our first call we connected and I can tell that she is a really good hearted person that means what she says.I am in California, so not super close to her (haha) but she assured me that it wouldn't be an issue. I needed some help for my husband's 50th birthday party. I have 3 year old twins so I wasn't sure how much I was going to be able to do on my own. She immediately sent me ideas for a theme on his birthday and discussed finding venues. I also started going to work looking at venues because I was nervous she wouldn't really know the area out here. I ended up finding a few and she called on them immediately. She booked me a tour of two of the venues I wanted. I ended up picking one quickly and she immediately put down the deposit for it. At the same time as she and her team were working on my event, i was working on it too coincidentally. I guess I had more time than I thought I did! I ended up really enjoying the process of researching vendors, reaching out to them and then when it came to booking them, I would kick them back over to Brandi. That's when things got a little slow and I jumped on them. She did let me know that she's not slow, I'm just really fast lol... I guess what I was really in the search for was a day of coordinator because I LOVE doing the planning (I hadn't realized that before though). I asked to cancel the contract for the reason that I was really just doing it all myself. No testament against her! She did have files and files of things she was working on for me. I just am a rush rush get things done now kind of person. She has a good heart and will make events beautiful I'm sure! Very willing to work with the client as you can see from below!"

Our special day was PERFECT from start to finish and DJ Apollo (Mike) played a huge part in making our dream wedding a reality. We met with Mike twice before the event and he made sure we were taken care of for all the time in between. Mike was quick to respond to questions, organized with a day-of timeline, on-point with the tunes, and an absolute champion of making sure we had exactly what we wanted with a killer party. We played games during the reception such as the shoe game and music bingo and Mike did an excellent job of transitioning between each item on the agenda. Another thing that needs to be said is that Mike is just an all-around great guy. You can tell as soon as you meet him that he is kind, genuine, and knowledgeable of his craft. "We used Capture the Moment KC at our wedding reception. It was a blast! - The staff was great to work with - very responsive either via email or phone. - The photo booth is a great size. We fit 8 people at one time - It was definitely snug!- They customize the bottom of the photo strips to be any colors, fonts, little heart designs if you want. We practically got our own logo made.- Optional "guestbook" for the event where a copy of each series of photos is put in a book for guests to sign. (guests also get a copy)- Plenty of props come with the booth. Funny hats, pirate swords, a giant beer pillow thing. - Guests waiting in line get to see what's going on in the booth via a live stream to a laptop. It helped the line not seem quite so long at our reception.I have one qualm. We only had them set up for 2 hours, and of course me being the bride I was running around for a good chunk of it. They started to close up shop exactly at the 2-hour mark, which happened to be when my 4-year-old niece and I were headed their way. They Did Not make an exception for us. I realize their time is just as important and "I get what I pay for," but - no exceptions? Not even for the bride and her (adorable!) niece? "0 Star rating. they are the worst they say you can pay via cashapp and I did. my name is Hallie Harrington. I was a bride scammed by this company and DJ Markus Logan. I was sent a contract that states deposit is non-refundable which is completely valid. I had to cancel due to pregnancy and not being able to fit my dress my wedding was set for May 19 so plenty of notice to cancel. I was supposed to review the $599.25 back that was the rest of the $799 package I paid for. deposit was $199.75. the DJ now states his contract says he doesn't have to return any money to me. I kept a copy of rhe contract it never states this. he refuses to return my money and has blocked me on cashapp and my phone number. it sucks that I'm going thru this but I hope no suspecting bride ever has to again! please don't book him or this company they all refuse to take my call."

"Recently, I had the opportunity to work with the Private Stock Band on an August 30th wedding. The band and bandleader Mark did everything imaginable to make this wedding a success! Mark MC'd the whole night and went above and beyond helping with table dismals for dinner and crowd control all while announcing the traditional cake cutting and so on. The thing that truly impressed me about the band was their flexibility to go with the flow. Things run behind and off schedule on wedding day and the band was very professional handling the timing changes while reordering their playlist to accommodate us. They also have a dedicated sound guy to insure music is the right volume for cocktails, dinner, and dancing allowing for people to sing along, dance, and carry on a conversation all at the same time. Private Stock Band is a great band for all ages! Truly the best part about Private Stock Band was they learned the special request first dance song "something beautiful" in three days making the bride, groom.
