"In times past we just order pizzas to go and boy are their pizzas great, but tonight we decided to try something new. We had never been in and sat down at the restaurant so we thought let's mix things up. The Ragu di Manzo is amazing. I devoured it so quickly and the only sad part was I wanted more and my plate was empty. The pork was delicious and the sauce devine. The lasagna is a lot of food. It is amazing and definitely a must try with the bolognese. The lasagna is very cheesy which makes it even better. The two different spritz drinks were dangerously delicious."

"After a round of golf in the greater KC area, my friend couldn't stop raving about Baba's, so I had to see what all the hype was about. And let me tell you, Baba's Pantry truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best Mediterranean spots in the Kansas City area. Even though it's a bit of a drive for me, I'll definitely be back, especially after a good round of golf!I ordered the Chicken Shawarma wrap, and wow, it was amazing! Perfectly moist, with a balanced filling that brought so much joy to each bite. If you like a bit of heat, do yourself a favor and get a side of their hot sauce--it adds the perfect kick for any spice lover like myself.They're also generous with the portions. The wrap alone was satisfying, but the large serving of fries sealed the deal. I even tried a bite of my friend's falafel, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've never been a huge falafel fan, but Baba's were moist, flavorful, and unlike the dry ones I've had elsewhere. Plus, the hummus! Whether it came with my friend's meal or as a side, they really don't hold back. So much hummus, and it was delicious!The space inside is cozy, with just a few tables (about 4-5), giving it a laid-back café vibe. Be prepared to wait during peak lunch hours, but trust me--it's worth it!"

"My favorite part of King G is when the bar opens its garage door windows on a nice day.Nothing beats a flash of outside air during Kansas City's best days.The upstairs ground level is a welcome space. You can belly up to the bar or find seats at some of the island tables, but you can also walk around without issues, even when it's busy.The bar on the downstairs level is a little more exclusive, which is fine. I think it adds to the mystique.The drink menu includes a solid list of cocktail options paired with some of the best local beers.Food from the attached deli is better than good."

"All right, I feel the need to update my review after several trips here. I am going to knock it down a star, but that still means I enjoy it. The sandwich you choose really makes a difference here. The reuben is still, in my mind, very excellent. I should have just stuck to that - it's probably 4-5 stars. I have also had the club sandwich which is 2-3 stars. For $7 (with tax), you don't get much in the terms of meat or cheese. It's tasty, but not excellent. So it just doesn't seem to have the greatness that its price should warrant. I will keep going here from time to time as money allows, but will need to learn exactly what sandwiches to stick to. Some are great, some are just "meh". The service is still friendly, and the store is clean and nice. The little shop in the back has some neat stuff, but I still have not bought anything to explore how much I like it. One of these days..."

I'm so grateful to have Jersey Mike's as a yummy place for my husband and I to grab gluten free sandwiches that are safely made - they do a really great job of eliminating the risk of cross contamination by wiping things down, and using a separate tray and utensils while assembling the sandwiches. Is the Udi's gluten free bread the best bread we've ever had? Absolutely not. It's pretty dense and dry. But that's not a Jersey Mike's problem, that's an Udi's problem. And at the end of the day we're just grateful that there's a sub shop that's safe for us to eat at!"
