"Everything is always fresh and tasty. Great service. Building is great for sitting with friends and talking. Nice beverage selection. Baked goods and cookies are always a favorite."
"After hiking the trails around Smithville Lake, you can come over here and get yourself a cheeseburger in Paradise! What a fun place to refuel your car and your tummy. Burgers are delicious and there are many options, even a veggie option. On a nice day you can enjoy the picnic tables outside. I look forward to coming back!"
"A brand new, clean store. Rows of pristine stocked items. Low traffic, nobody know they are there. I haven't seen an ad in the Wednesday's grocery mailings. NO PHARMACY"
"I had a to go order, so did not get chance to interact with anyone or see what the restaurant ambiance was. The food, however, was really good! We had an Italian sandwich, Mac and cheese, and a grilled cheese with tomato soup, for lunch. There were only smiles around the table. :-)It was a quick and painless process to order and pick up the food. It was delightful to eat it!"
"Everything is so fresh and worth the trip. Make sure to stop by the Olive bar and pick out a few items. Everyone working is very friendly and efficient with service. It was a piece of Sicily in Kansas City."
"I liked the efficient service and reasonably priced food at this mom-and-pop deli, which is located on the first floor of Commerce Plaza building 7400.The Philly cheesesteak combo ($8.99 including chips and a drink) was served just a few minutes after I ordered at the counter. The sandwich was nicely sized at 9" long, with moist, tasty meat and cheese on fresh bread and my choice of toppings. I also liked the good selection of chips, which included somewhat healthy options. The menu included breakfast, sandwiches, salads, wraps, bowls and smoothies with daily specials.I found the dining area to be clean with a view of nature.Overall, very nice!"
"All right, I feel the need to update my review after several trips here. I am going to knock it down a star, but that still means I enjoy it. The sandwich you choose really makes a difference here. The reuben is still, in my mind, very excellent. I should have just stuck to that - it's probably 4-5 stars. I have also had the club sandwich which is 2-3 stars. For $7 (with tax), you don't get much in the terms of meat or cheese. It's tasty, but not excellent. So it just doesn't seem to have the greatness that its price should warrant. I will keep going here from time to time as money allows, but will need to learn exactly what sandwiches to stick to. Some are great, some are just "meh". The service is still friendly, and the store is clean and nice. The little shop in the back has some neat stuff, but I still have not bought anything to explore how much I like it. One of these days..."
"Good food, good service. Very friendly staff. Took a drive from Eureka and wasn't disappointed. Will be back. We tried the chicken and brisket. Both were very good."
"Giovanni's is a great locally owned deli and Italian restaurant. They serve fresh, homemade Italian sandwiches, pasta dishes, and sides. You can purchase meat by the pound from the deli as well to enjoy your sandwich combinations at home or on the go. They offer inside dining, a drive-thru, and carryout. We love their toasted ravioli, pasta with meatballs, and sandwiches. Delicious!!"
"My favorite part of King G is when the bar opens its garage door windows on a nice day.Nothing beats a flash of outside air during Kansas City's best days. The upstairs ground level is a welcome space. You can belly up to the bar or find seats at some of the island tables, but you can also walk around without issues, even when it's busy. The bar on the downstairs level is a little more exclusive, which is fine. I think it adds to the mystique. The drink menu includes a solid list of cocktail options paired with some of the best local beers.Food from the attached deli is better than good."
"I stepped in out of the cold on a wintry morning looking for a cup of hot soup to warm me up. Higher Grounds and their team made an accommodation by placing it in a tall paper cup that made it easy to sip the tasty broth. The Chai Tea Latte in my opinion is the best in Topeka. Shanell has stellar customer service & is super friendly. Get on over there, they are open from 7AM to 5:PM Monday thru Friday. Saturday's from 8AM until 5PM."
"Food was good we got a Philly and the super sub. They were pretty quick and making them. It was clean and comfortable."

Wow! What a great surprise for a lunch stop. One of the best sandwiches in memory. Quality meats and cheese and generous amounts. Excellent house made bread. I watch people coming in to take out baked goods. Some of those cinnamon rolls will go home with us.

I was in the area for work and had my in-laws coming into town later that evening so thought I'd take advantage of Missouri selling alcohol in grocery stores and pop in to pick up some of my mother in law's favorite wine, and some IPAs for my father in law. When you walk in it's a really clean and gorgeous grocery store. If I lived nearby I could certainly see the appeal of visiting here as the shopping experience is really pleasant. While I didn't purchase anything from the produce area the food all looked really fresh and was well presented. I meandered through and picked up a few odds and ends before landing in the liquor section which is what I stopped in for. They had a good selection and reasonable prices for a grocery store, and I found what I came for which was great! The reason this isn't a five star grocery store is because they sold me super expired IPAs. I was feeling really proud of myself for finding a mix pack of Brooklyn IPAs for only $16 and it wasn't until I got home to Overland Park that I realized that they were not only expired, but that they expired in November of 2022. Now, if you know anything about beers you know that yes, there are some that age well and can be consumed years past their "best by" date, but IPAs are not in that variety. I also know that drinking these beers isn't necessarily dangerous, but still I felt like if they were going to sell them to me they should have made it clear how far past the date they were. If I lived closer I would have returned them, but it wasn't worth the drive. I've had a few of them and they aren't bad but you can tell that the flavor is off since they likely were brewed a long time ago. At any rate, selling expired beer is sadly not an uncommon thing to find, so overall this is still a great store but if you're shopping for beers I'd take the time to confirm the dates on the cans before checking out.

Terrific sandwich option on Mass! They have special sandwiches throughout the week that's dependant on the day. Would definitely recommend the Hot Beef Louise! The meat is fire and the the jous is perfect. The seasoning on it is elite. Would also recommend the mac & cheese on the side. Very creamy and soft without compromising the cheese. An underrated experience at Latchkey is the baked goods. The cookies are terrific. Selection varies on day. All in all - Latchkey checks a bunch of boxes for a sandwich place. I'd give more stars if I could.

Sure, you might pay a little more. And yes, sometimes parking is not the easiest thing to do. But if you want gourmet Italian groceries, then this is the best game in town.I've stepped up my kitchen game as I've gotten older. I tend to appreciate nuances in better olive oil, imported tomatoes, and different flavorings to add to dishes like pasta or risotto. I can find genuine, imported goods at Carollo's at prices that I'm willing to meet. The deli selection is off the chart, whether you're getting cured meats, imported cheeses, or even a sandwich to go. I tend to buy a little bit more each time so that I can have pancetta on hand in the freezer or fresh Parmesan for whenever I'm going to be making pasta, which is frequently. The space can get a little crowded, but the staff is always friendly and moves through lines quickly. Selections at the olive bar are really worth the try and if you're feeling like you need something sweet, then cannoli shells are on hand just waiting for you to fill them at home. It's an authentic, old-style grocery with everything you would need for the fresh eats. I highly recommend taking some steps up the olive oil quality ladder, because you can really tell the difference it makes in various dishes, and even as a dressing. Sure, you can order online, but that defeats the point of taking a step into an authentic Italian grocery and enjoying a small slice of Kansas City.

This small place exists mainly to serve folks who work in twin office buildings at 7300 and 7400 W 110th St in Overland Park. They serve both hot and cold sandwiches with a selection of breads and toppings. A popular favorite is the taco salad served on Wednsdays. They also maintain a selection of snacks and pop as well as serve breakfast. I have not had a breakfast here, but the omlettes have been reccommended to me. Four Star is not spectacular but is as solid as any sandwich chain and is better priced.

I love this deli, and the fact that they carry gluten-free bread. The "Rachel" and the coconut cream pie are my favorites! The Amish canned goods are so good too, and the owners are the nicest people you will ever meet!

"friendly service, clean establishment and the best sandwiches and subs anywhere! especially their italian beef! omg.... i love this place! i have driven 40 miles to get one of their subs!"
"Holy moly! This is honestly some of the best Italian food I've ever had, and I travel extensively... I'm shocked how good this place is. Try the meatballs, the garlic oil dip, the fresh bread. WOW!"
"Every time I come here it's a home run. I love The Choo sandwich and soooo happy they added it to the full time menu. Recently they added a temporary sandwich to the menu for Thanksgiving called The Gobbler. All the favorite Thanksgiving foods on a fresh baked roll. The used turkey from the best bbq place in KC, Wolfepack BBQ. Highly recommend trying this sandwich when they have it."
"We were randomly visiting the Pony Express Museum and decided to try a local place for lunch. What a treasure! We split a French dip, chili, and the soup of the day - shrimp corn chowder, and a piece of cheesecake for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious - coming in second place to only the exceptional service."
"Freshly made sandwiches a great hot bar and delicious bakery selection. Good place to fill up on everything you need"
"I noticed that this location was especially clean, and had plenty of seating. I'm so grateful to have Jersey Mike's as a yummy place for my husband and I to grab gluten free sandwiches that are safely made - they do a really great job of eliminating the risk of cross contamination by wiping things down, and using a separate tray and utensils while assembling the sandwiches. Is the Udi's gluten free bread the best bread we've ever had? Absolutely not. It's pretty dense and dry. But that's not a Jersey Mike's problem, that's an Udi's problem. And at the end of the day we're just grateful that there's a sub shop that's safe for us to eat at!"
"When you get there, first thing to do is order food. You have to walk by the point of sale coincidently. Ask questions, if you aren't sure. Trust me they are! Ok, now the food is in the queue. Look around, open the freezer door. Ask questions. When you are about done. Your food is ready. If you follow this plan you will always be satisfied with the experience."
""Hole in the wall" type of bar, but don't let looks fool you. Great service, great people, great food, great prices!!! Give these guys a shot!!"
"In times past we just order pizzas to go and boy are their pizzas great, but tonight we decided to try something new. We had never been in and sat down at the restaurant so we thought let's mix things up. The Ragu di Manzo is amazing. I devoured it so quickly and the only sad part was I wanted more and my plate was empty. The pork was delicious and the sauce devine. The lasagna is a lot of food. It is amazing and definitely a must try with the bolognese. The lasagna is very cheesy which makes it even better. The two different spritz drinks were dangerously delicious."
"This Sun Fresh was a godsend when everything started shutting down when COVID first struck. I'd shopped there for years as a night shift worker and Sun Fresh was the only store that stayed open 24 hours. Price Chopper, then HyVee stopped their 24 hours. Thank you, Sun Fresh. If the parking lot looks sketchy late at night, ask the security guard to shine a light."
"Clean well stocked salad bar. Husband and I devoured the Tortilla Soup and the Lobster Bisque. The service was quick and attentive."
"No sandwich in town beats a torpedo. The sauce and bread are better than anything else"
"After a round of golf in the greater KC area, my friend couldn't stop raving about Baba's, so I had to see what all the hype was about. And let me tell you, Baba's Pantry truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best Mediterranean spots in the Kansas City area. Even though it's a bit of a drive for me, I'll definitely be back, especially after a good round of golf!I ordered the Chicken Shawarma wrap, and wow, it was amazing! Perfectly moist, with a balanced filling that brought so much joy to each bite. If you like a bit of heat, do yourself a favor and get a side of their hot sauce--it adds the perfect kick for any spice lover like myself. They're also generous with the portions. The wrap alone was satisfying, but the large serving of fries sealed the deal. I even tried a bite of my friend's falafel, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've never been a huge falafel fan, but Baba's were moist, flavorful, and unlike the dry ones I've had elsewhere. Plus, the hummus! Whether it came with my friend's meal or as a side, they really don't hold back. So much hummus, and it was delicious! The space inside is cozy, with just a few tables (about 4-5), giving it a laid-back café vibe. Be prepared to wait during peak lunch hours, but trust me--it's worth it!"
"Great deli style place with a lot to choose from. Food is great. Service was fast and friendly!"
"They have the best Philly Steaks in town!! Love the real french fries too!! I dont recommend a lot of places. But this place has good quality food at a reasonable price."
"Great place, I get breakfast and lunch there regularly. It's always fast and a good price"
"Just moved in the area and ordered pizza from there for the first time. Amazing! Nifty little store with all the last minute things you need. Will be back for sure!"
"Small local business with friendly staff. There is no indoor seating, so we ended up taking our sandwiches to a nearby park, which on a nice day, works. For $22, we got 2 drinks, 2 good sized sandwiches, 2 chips and 2 desserts (cookie or donuts). Definitely a good value! The sandwiches were solid. Fresh ingredients and made well."
"We stopped at Scimeca's Market to get some ravioli, meatballs and Italian sausage. It's a little market and deli. I love the fact that I can stop here and get exactly what I want, because many grocery stores don't carry all their products. It's a cute little store. While we were there, we got a Italian steak sandwich. My husband and I spit it. It was delicious. As we were leaving, my husband informed me there'd be no splitting next time. I see an Italian steak sandwich in our near future. LolFood: 5/5Facility: 5/5Service: 5/5Ambiance: 5/5 (remember, it's a market too)Value: 5/5"
"The food here is sooooo good. Definitely is your local deli. I also got an Apple fritter, and a chocolate long John they were so soft and delicious."
"Exceptional service and bagels! First, the line went VERY quickly as bagel toppings are packaged individually and distributed in little to go cups - the perfect setup! The everything bagel with lox, scallion cream cheese and veggies did not disappoint. Also ordered a delicious chocolate babka. As an east coast native I was surprised to find such an authentic Jewish bagel shop and bakery in Columbia, MO. Goldie's is the real deal!"
"Jasper's is an all time favorite place to dine. Special occasions or just a random Tuesday. Every dish is spectacular and tasty!! We love talking with Kasper as he wanders around the dining room. We recommend Jasper's any chance we get."
"I grew up in KC area but live on the west coast now. Whenever I come back, I go here because I haven't found a sub sandwich shop like it. It's far better than subway."
