Tous Les Hours has excellent desserts, although some may be too a little too sweet for my taste. Will definitely come back when I am in town."

Key F. "I had never been here or even heard of this place but it popped up as a yelp recommendation and when it did, i couldn't resist after seeing the crepes! I came on a snowy Saturday afternoon. There were several customers but they had already ordered so we were able to order right away. After some consideration we got a bacon egg and cheese crepe and the nutella banana and a white christmas latte. The crepes were so delicious and glad we tried both! The latte was just ok to me but my companion enjoyed it. The employees were very sweet and friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming and laid back. It seemed like the large group there was having some sort of meeting, others were reading or just talking quietly. They also have a patio which is always nice weather permitting. I enjoyed my visit here and most definitely will be back to have another nutella banana crepe and to try some of the other food items and drinks. I recommend!"

Taura G. "This truck was located at the KCMO Convention Center for the Natl Invitational Tournament (NIT) Womens Volleyball, 2/14-2/18/25. We ordered hot drinks in the morning: Dirty Chai Spiced Latte and Matcha Latte w/added salted caramel syrup. The DCSL came out first but had no latte. We let the barista know and then they found that the milk dispenser on their machine was empty. They were able to fix the drink and it was fine. The Matcha Latte was good too.In the afternoon I ordered 1 cold Matcha Frappe with added salted caramel syrup. They said that they didn't know if they could make that, and that they would try. Well, they made a delicious Matcha Frappe. I mean it's only the matcha powder with ice and milk blended...My drink was pretty good. They could have added a half scoop more of matcha powder but hey it was their first time. Overall, 16oz beverages for $7-10 is a good price for a tournament truck. Thanks!"

Denise Y. "I could have sworn, I posted my review of Serendipity Farm and Vine right after we visited, but alas I find it still in my reviews to complete and we have been here two times. The first time, we joined our neighbors for a sunny fall afternoon in November. We love these types of venues with various outdoor seating options, live music, drinks and snacks. This particular afternoon, the music was by Aaron Luccero. The staff was great in helping us learn about their wines, tasting and checking to see if we were doing ok. The place was nearly full this particular afternoon and we appreciated the attention. The concept of this location is fabulous! What a nice country setting. Both the indoors and outdoors provided great backdrops for hanging out and for pictures. I sent the pictures to my mom and she immediately wanted me to reserve one of the 'stalls' for an after Thanksgiving family gathering which I did. We reserved the Monarch 'stall' for our family event. We were larger than that space, so we also had the tall tables outside the stall. We pre-ordered the 'Signature Grazing Board' which is a beautiful display as well as enjoyable taste. As the rest of the family was new to visit Serendipity a couple of red and white wine flights were ordered along with a couple of bottles. For those who didn't drink wine, there were also ciders and beer. We really enjoyed our time. They do not allow dogs as they have their own dog and other live animals that roam the property and in the past there was an altercation. So, keeping the zen environment going, you cannot bring your pets. We own a dog and would have loved to bring him, but also are respectful dog owners and 100% respect their decision. Just enjoy your time with family, friends, co-workers without having to keep an eye on your pet.My rating is a 5+ Star for the overall experience: ambiance, live music, staffing, etc. Everyone's taste palettes are different so it's not fair to rate make the rating for Serendipity Farm and Vine strictly on the wine. We also visit and order wines form the Napa Valley region on a regular basis, so a rating compared to those isn't fair to Serendipity. This being said, we all agreed "Metamorphic Love" was a keeper. We will be back again either to reserve a 'stall' for our cul-de-sac gathering and for another sunny afternoon when those days are back. What a nice treat to have this kind of place to come"

It is tempting to try many of the drinks on the menu, but if you do so, you may end up with sticker shock when you get the bill. Better to try a couple of drinks each time and return to try others. On some days, but not all days, they have bagels with a choice of spreads. If you want food with your drinks, I suggest you call to see if they have bagels on the day you plan to arrive. We were there on a Friday, and they did have bagels.Parking is less of a problem than downtown. There is diagonal parking on the street in front of the bar.Nostalgia Room is best known for its mixed drinks, and deservedly so. But we also tried the two wines on the menu, and we were surprised by how good they were. Non-alcoholic wines are improving in quality and sophistication."

Vanessa C. "I've read good things about this place on yelp and despite the high praises, we were the only ones there aside from the barista a little before 10 on a Thursday. Must have been a slow day but I'm not mad about having the whole space to ourselves. There's an industrial retro boho vibe with lots of art decorating the walls here. The space is small but spacious and had lots of seating. I was unfamiliar with the type of music playing at the time but it was chill enough for us to make some calls and get some work done in the time we spent there. I'm a lavender latte girl and I've had my fair share of lavendar lattes across the country from when I did a west to east and back roadtrip and I can tell you from experience, they know how to make it right here. Syrups here are made in house! The menu is small but it's all the essentials with some flavor if you want!"

Lots of different seating types and even a private room for a larger meeting space. It's a beautiful space. Coffee was great. They have seasonal specials, house specials, and the standard drinks. They do a punchcard and the 10th drink is free, which is great. Barista was super nice and started a convo with me since it was on the slower side. Very pleasant and learned about the coffeeshop. I asked the folks I was with if there was a good neighborhood coffee shop nearby where I could get some work done and I was pointed here. When I pulled up it looked really unassuming from the outside - it's sort of a repurposed old house, and it has strong neighborhood vibes. Needless to say I was excited to check this place out. You walk inside and you find yourself in one of the KC area's cutest coffee shops. Literally every bit of this place is charming. The only downside is that there aren't many indoor tables, but I was fortunate as it was late afternoon and I was able to snag a small corner spot to myself. The barista working was insanely kind, and overall, I just felt so lucky to have found such a gem to hang out at for a while. Matthew W. "Good coffee, good books, local business. What else do you need? Lexington, despite being a sleepy Midwest ( when did Midwest become a bad thing?) town, is surprisingly liberal. To open a business here you have to prove to the chamber of commerce that you are going to provide the town with something unique. You want to be a pizza place? Too bad there's already a pizza place here. Irish bar? Already have one. Sports bar? That would be fine. This is impressive because based on this simple philosophy, they were able to keep Walmart out of their town. They already had a clothing store. The already had a grocery store. And most importantly, they already had a book store. So thanks but no thanks Walmart, shove off. This place is small, but in a small town way. It's been recently renovated, but the owners were careful not to ruin the history that this old building holds. From the front windows in the shop you can plainly see the cannon ball, from a bloody civil war battle, that is stuck in one of the columns of the court house across the street. They remember you here. When you buy baked goods here, you can rest assured that they are home made, and better than anyone's mamma makes. Unless of course your mamma works here. They serve a unique brand of coffee here that is from Portland called Ravens Brew. The owner told me she had been serving Roasterie coffee, but their attitude towards her, a small business owner in a small town, was less than stellar. She felt she deserved better and good for her. The coffee they serve here is delicious. They make whatever fancy pants drinks here you want, all of them have gone through barista training, but I still love me some black coffee. They have a great children's section in this little place. There is also a smart selection of left winged books that one may not expect to find in such a small town. They pride themselves on their knowledge of the literature they sell here. Feel free to ask them questions. If there is one thing that separates a small town shop from a store in an urban area, it would be the sincerity of the staff when they ask you how you're day is going. It's unrealistic to suggest driving here just for a book, on a weeknight. I would strongly encourage anyone out there, with a day to spare though, to explore this beautiful old town. The city has done it's damnedest to remain a small town, despite pressures from corporate bullies as strong as Walmart. As time goes on, I think we'll find that there are fewer and fewer towns like Lexington. It's small, but all the store fronts are full of bustling businesses owned and operated by individuals, not overseen by some giant corporation thousands of miles away . For this reason alone, I think all the businesses in this little town deserve all the support that all of us "liberal" city folk can give them."

We had a MARVELOUS time!Kudos to Natalie for taking my reservation; she was welcoming and friendly and let me know about a slight change in hours of operation for the evening, due to a Halloween celebration. And I have unfortunately forgotten the name of our server (she was wearing overalls as her costume, if that's helpful), but she was equally wonderful! Many thanks to her and the rest of the staff for their hospitality to our group, even though we got a little boisterous in our conversation. :-)Our food was EXCELLENT; I had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, which was DELICIOUS, and my friends had the mushroom swiss burger, the classic burger, and the grilled cheese sandwich with turkey. They all agreed that everything was fresh and tasty. Ten Twelve offers a full bar, and my friends each had beer (one Yuengling and two Boulevard drafts), which were a perfect pairing for their meals. The restaurant is located in the original bank building downtown, and you can still see the original architectural details in the front façade, the high interior ceilings, and the preserved bank vault at the back of the dining area. For a casual experience with excellent food and service, you can't beat Ten Twelve Main!
