"Back on The Roasterie train! It's a nice walk for my daughters and I on the weekend, and lately we've been loving the fact that they carry Ibis Bakery goodies. The drink of the fall for me has been this Sunrise Espresso Tonic (candied orange syrup, tonic water, espresso) which is so unlike anything I normally get. Thanks to fellow Yelper Sarah G. for this tip!Like all coffee shops, somehow their in-store drinks now cost what lunch used to a few years ago, so it's a sometimes treat for sure. However I do buy the gigantic bag of Roasterie beans at CostCo, so in some ways I'm always running on Roasterie. For the kids, their doughnuts have been a hit and I mean, they are really good. Nice and light, flavorful. This isn't one of those preservative-packed junk donuts like at chain spots, it's legit.Nice atmosphere, with the patio being the go-to on a nice morning, and there is often good energy throughout here. It's sort of "old reliable" in the KC coffee shop world."
"Great coffee. Ambiance is nice. Several places to sit for privacy. Very friendly. Easy location"
"Was in Kansas City for work and some friends took me to The Roasterie Cafe! I loved this cafe and my drink! Going in, the giant airplane with the sign caught my attention; I'm always flying for work so it was a fun surprise to go to an aviation themed cafe! The interior is so spacious! I love that there's so much seating! I wasn't able to check out the tour but I would love to do that sometime soon! I like the unique drinks and lattes on the menu! I got the Crunched for Time (White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Latte) and it was delicious!!! Will definitely be back when I can!"
"This is my go-to "work from home" coffee shop for a few hours in the morning. The drinks are good, but I've always been a fan of Roasterie Coffee. The only reason I didn't give them a 5th star, is they frequently turn up the music around 8am to an almost deafening level for a coffee shop. It's rather obnoxious and usually forces me to leave so I can continue to concentrate."

Expensive and not friendly. Not a hello, thank you, or even have a good day. Just staring at you after they take your money. I can get stared at anyplace for free, I don't need to pay 8 bucks for a meh latte for that.

This place is a gem of a coffee shop in Gladstone! They have a small building with ample seating and a gallery attached to it. There are fresh and roasted beans, snacks, merch, and pastries that look absolutely phenomenal! Today I got the hot blueberry matcha (probably the highest quality you can get around here) and felt super energized by it! Not too sweet with excellent flavor. The service was top-tier and always friendly. Go try 'em out for your next drink break!

A pretty functional Roasterie from my experience over the years. It's a bit subdued in the atmosphere which lends itself to be a nice, quiet spot to work. I go to Woodside nearby and have found their coffee doesn't quite hit like the Roasterie, so occasionally I'll make my way over here. My latest visit was for a simple black coffee, but also late in the morning which means it could be a bit stale. That wasn't the case at all, it was literally perfect. A single origin Guatemalan roast that made me rethink the beans I've been using at home.. They also always have clean restrooms and tons of places to sit, so again for work or meeting someone it's a safe bet. Big parking lot attached as well. Overall I'm almost always a fan of The Roasterie and their many locations. They're more than reliable, coffee is always good, and lately even their specialty drinks have been hitting for me which is rare. If you're a Starbucks addict, make the switch to The Roasterie and don't look back.

Cute spot to work, study, or hand out with friends! Very family oriented, there's a small playroom in the corner that kids can use while their parents hang out. The coffee I got (an iced latte) was really good and quick. They also had a lot of padre ties available that looked delicious! The inside is very spacious and bright, I loved all the plants they had hanging out! The music was a little weird, kinda all over the place, but that's sometimes how it goes hahaha! Overall I really enjoyed this spot! Probably my favorite coffee shop I went to while in Columbia.

Raymore finally has a coffee shop that rivals any of the great downtown and JoCo spots. This is not only a wonderful coffee shop but Bing roasts his beans as well. It is the Cheers of coffee. Everyone comes to not only for amazing coffee but to socialize. We were first timers but we were treated like family by Bing and the other patrons. We enjoyed are drinks while learning Bing's history. I will let him share his story but let me just say it all started with a curiosity in latte art. Bing buys his beans all over the world and roast them in the back of the cafe. He is very passionate about his work and it comes through in the coffee. There are assortments of pastries and handmade candies as well as packaged treats. This morning a had a cafe au lait made with single origin espresso. I chose unsweetened almond milk (he offers both) and it was so smooth and bold. My husband had an iced Americano and I have to admit it was probably the best one I have had. It had a nice cream on top from the espresso. It also had almost a smoky taste to it yet it was absolutely smooth. Check Bing out, you will not be disappointed. He celebrates one year tomorrow 1/7/22.

The Koffee Korner was a wonderful discovery on the Lawrence Caffeine Crawl yesterday. Located in the Lawrence Hospital lobby in a small corner, they are pumping out some expertly crafted and unique beverages. I sampled an Apple Pie Lotus - an iced apple spiced taste with Lotus extract added for a natural energy boost. The other standout was their Peanut Butter Mocha Frappe - pure frozen decadence. The mother and daughter owners and the 2 baristas were very engaging and oozing with customer service skills.A coffee shop experience that is worth the extra time to visit, even if you are not visiting the hospital.

"The toasty goat is such a cute coffee shop. Large bright windows, areas for customers to sit, chat and study. I ordered the mocha and it delicious. The vibe of the whole coffee shop was exquisite."
"My go to is always an Americano and Bing makes a great one but he and his team have whatever you want. This is a warm, friendly, simple little shop that is always clean. The best part, other than the coffee, is Bing. A Chinese immigrant to America, this is his dream and it's personal to him. He learned coffee the old fashioned way and it became his passion. From sourcing and roasting his beans, to the craftsmanship that goes into every cup of joe, his coffee, personality, and staff is superb. Highly recommend to all coffee aficionados."
"Watch out for that mouthy barista, Alannah! She always get your order right but not until you can get her attention. (Totally kidding!) great service, great drinks and a great place to get coffee. I wish they would put a place in Topeka!"
