"We were looking for a new breakfast place in Kansas City close to the Country Club Plaza area, and we decided to give "Snooze" a try. Certainly glad we did.Snooze has a bright artsy interior with individual tables and booths throughout. They've got a lovely bar from which they offer a host of breakfast drinks: Mimosas, Bloody Mary's, etc.... I was planning to try the Chilaquiles, but they were 86 for the day. I pivoted to my go-to breakfast at any new restaurant, corned beef hash, and eggs. Theirs was among the best I've ever had, and I've eaten hash and eggs all over the country. House-made corned beef, great seasoning with the potatoes, onions and peppers. I complemented it with a little Yellow Bird, a Serrano pepper, hot sauce, and it was absolutely perfect. My wife went with the Strawberry Shortcake Pancake with chicken sausage, and she said it was fantastic. Our server was courteous, very knowledgeable, and absolutely on point. In our short stay, my coffee was refilled three times, he checked up on our order, and really made sure we had a good experience. I can highly recommend Snooze for a just out of downtown KC breakfast/brunch stop!"
"Overall, you're paying for the ambiance here. The space is great and it's right in the heart of Park Place. There's a big inside space, upstairs with live music sometimes, outdoor seating upstairs and on the ground floor with fire pits and I think heaters in the winter. The food is good. Plating is nice. No real complaints on the food. It can be pricey. Happy hour is pretty well priced however. Service was okay- I've been a few times and this last time I went for a birthday and I told our server twice and put in our resy we came for a birthday. The server even asked if we came for something and told me she'd bring a dessert out for the birthday girl. That never happened. I totally understand it happens. Busy weekend dinner. But I've heard the same story from a few people recently so I'm not sure. I've been upstairs once and I do think it gets a bit too loud to enjoy a conversation with someone. I think it's a decent place for food if you're wanting Thai and convenience in being able to walk to desserts and or coffee or to lounge outside."

"My friend and I stopped in here for a quick bite to eat. It's a great space, very fun and has an upbeat vibe. Every staff members was friendly and helpful. We split the Mexican Street Corn Fritters which were amazing!! My taco had great flavor but was a little light on the mahi-mahi. That said, I would definitely order it again. My only wish would be that they offered a round of complimentary chips & salsa. We didn't have drinks but would love to come back for happy hour."
"I couldn't wait to go back to this establishment after an elite event a while ago. I took a friend and my 3 y/o daughter there for lunch. They do in fact have a kids menu, which had me surprised since this is a higher end business. I ordered my daughter the fancy kids Mac n cheese, she is a fry nut so she thoroughly enjoyed her fries that accompanied the Mac. My friend ordered the steak sandwich. She absolutely loved the garlic fries. She kept raving about them so I had to try them. They were outstanding! I ordered the special which was a prime rib sandwich with bbq sauce and onion rings on it. It was delicious but messy! The onion rings were thin like onion straws. As a side I went with something that I knew this place could make amazing but other places can't- Brussels sprouts! They did not disappoint. This is a nice quiet restaurant. Our server was absolutely amazing. In fact he was so amazing my 3 year old asked if he could babysit her sometime. Such a cute memory. I wish they had one of these in the northland as it's off the beaten path for me but I will venture back as much as I can. It's my new favorite place!"
"Was in search of a good German restaurant with Black Forest Cake and Affare was recommended, so we gave it a tryRestaurant was nicely laid out. Small and cozy. Parking on the street. Staff was friendly and helpful. We started with the pretzel basket. Nice warm pretzels. Good way to start the day.We then had the veal schnitzel. They offer it 2 ways; Jager style which is with a mushroom sauce and butter spätzle or Wiener style which is with lemon, french fries and cucumber salad. We got a hybrid. We got it Wiener style with spätzle instead of french fries. The food was wonderful. The schnitzel was a good thick piece and was very tasty. The spätzle was the best we have ever had. For the main course this was clearly 5 stars. For dessert we got the Black Forest Cake. Forgot to get a picture. Presentation was nice. We have had Black Forest Cake in the Black Forest in Germany. That is what we were looking for. Unfortunately, this was not it. We could not find any cherries in the cream layers between the chocolate cake layers. This was just a chocolate cake with creame filling. It was just okay. This was only 3 stars worthyWhen I put the 2 together, I came up with a combine score of 4 stars. If you want schnitzel and spatzels this is definitely the place to go."
"I've eaten at this location a few times. The aesthetic is fun with pops of color. I appreciate the coat hangers and vibe of the restaurant. I give 3 stars for 3 reasons:- There is no seating for waiting customers which is very unfair for elderly, pregnant, and disabled persons. Sometimes wait times are long if you haven't put yourself in the online waitlist. Be sure to check that before going in. - I ordered the new, recommended, Jalapeño & Cheddar omelette 3 days ago and my stomach has not recovered in the last 3 days. I'm Thai & Cambodian, I eat my fair share of spice. My stomach does not react to jalapeños and it has been awful. Nothing on the taste but more on the preparation. I'm curious on how an omelette, I didn't finish, would make me call out of work 5 hours early and keep me on a toilet for 3 days. - finally the service... maybe she was having a bad day, I get it, I work customer service in a deli. A smile is good for both sides, I'm not asking for ultra-passionate waiters or over enthusiastic people. I only mark this because of the contrasting warmth towards other families and a strange coldness to mine. She carried herself as someone who didn't want to be there and I understand, still, it's uncomfortable as a customer. I can manage a waiter with a sub-par attitude but only if it's fairly distributed, otherwise, I just feel unwelcome. No allergies, no special requests, easy orders, no screaming babies... even if she gave one smile after we ordered I would have felt less like an offender. Otherwise, I could have just made the omelette at home lol.No complaints from the rest of my party, things came out in time (I would of liked an update on my food when my family got their pancakes first and she didn't tell me if mine was on the way or even acknowledge me). Overall, it's a cute place and I would try this place again just off of the aesthetics and good prices. I'd probably order something completely different, put myself on the waitlist 15 minutes early, and hope for better customer service experience. Let's try again!"
"Came in between movies during the True False Film Festival. Ordered the delicious Crab Rangoon dip. Loved the mango jalapeño mojito, the Chocolate Espresso and the Darkside of the Moon-Shine Sour. We also really loved the candied bacon on the salmon burger and the burger! Service was attentive and gave great suggestions."
"I first tried Taco Naco at the Overland Park Farmers Market and had to visit their restaurant just down the block!I've tried nearly every taco on their menu throughout the year, and my absolute favorites are the birria tacos and fried fish tacos! What sets Taco Naco apart is how they keep things authentic but add a kick to their tacos which makes them stand out from other places. If you're a first-timer and can handle the heat, I highly recommend trying their six-salsa sampler! My personal favorite is Peanut Matcha, it is super spicy but I always buy 16oz Peanut Matcha to enjoy it at home. The service is great too. You order at the counter, and they bring the food right to your table. The staff is super friendly and welcoming! The ambiance is really interesting as well. It has a vibe similar to taco spots inside Mexican grocery stores, but it still feels like a proper restaurant. There's even a small section where they sell produced goods, adding to that authentic feel, but at the same time, it's a place to sit down and enjoy a good meal. Plenty of seats, including indoor and outdoor patios to enjoy your food!Taco Naco is easily in my top 3 taco joints in town!"
"Food is always good here. I got buffalo Mac and cheese and some apps during happy hour. Lots of whiskeys and can beers to try. I had my 1st London mule. It has a different vibe than a lot of restaurants, relaxing and old school. Service was prompt but I went on a slow Tuesday night."
"Well we found a bit of doggie Heaven on earth here! Our dogs love to be able to run and play and we loved watching them while enjoying great food and drinks. (And so did the pups)If you want beverages and food while you watch your pups play, this is your ideal place to hang out. My pups enjoyed Turkey jerky and ice cream while my husband and I had some adult beverages and tried out the chicken salad sandwich and bar k burger. Both were really good. We can't wait to go back!"
"OK, this place was absolutely amazing. So amazing that I wish they were in STL!The restaurant wasn't huge by any means and by the time we were able to make reservations, the only remaining seats were at the bar. We took it because of the grand reviews and we were not disappointed. We ordered a bottle of wine to share and perused the menu.So the place doesn't have appetizers. You kind of just order good food and share if you would like. Some of them would qualify as starters. The portions are large enough to share. We started with the F.O. larb. It was served with some sticky rice. So delicious. I was honestly worried that I would no longer have room for my main dish which was the catfish. And let me tell you, that catfish dish is divine! Of course, I was unable to finish but I took it back home with me. That's right, it was so good that it made it back home for the 2 hour drive. My sister in law had the short rid and she enjoyed every bite. She also commented about how the larb was so delicious as well.To finish the evening, we ordered one of their fancy coctails. I could not remember the name of our cocktail but it was recommended by the bar tender and was also really good. Well... we might have ended the night with two of them!If you are ever in Colombia, this is a MUST stop."
"Let me tell you about Wally's Grill and Drafthouse in Lee's Summit. This place has been a favorite of ours since it opened its doors. You walk in and immediately feel like you're part of the family. The owner, Chris, a longtime Lee's Summit resident, practically grew up in the restaurant biz. With his wife Tammy, they've created a warm and welcoming spot where you'll often see them mingling with guests. Now onto the food. They offer a variety of mouthwatering dishes, from veggie flatbreads to steak. But let's talk burgers - they're legendary. You can build your own masterpiece, and trust me, adding their bacon-onion jam is a game-changer. And their Sunday brunch? Don't even get me started. It's a feast fit for royalty. My family adores this place. Whether it's a special occasion or just a casual dinner, Wally's is our go-to spot. My kids have celebrated birthdays and homecomings here, and it's become a tradition. One son swears by the half so cheezy and cup of chicken soup, while the rest of us can't get enough of the cluckers and fries (seriously, their ranch is divine). And my husband? He's all about the ale-roasted chicken. And here's the best part - despite the amazing menu, the kitchen runs like a well-oiled machine. No messy kitchens here, just delicious food served with a smile. So if you're ever in Lee's Summit, do yourself a favor and stop by Wally's. You won't regret it."

Big group dinner here. We were seated on the second floor. Service was great!I got the crispy garlic shrimp. Many got the pad Thai. Someone got the sea bass. It's a local favorite. My shrimp was ok- I'd get the pad Thai next time.

Went for KCRW. Incredible experience. Top notch service. Loved the vibe of the restaurant. Plenty of open well lit seating. Vibrant bar area. But let's talk food... Dip Duo - Fire roasted poblano salsa and their signature queso con cerveza with house made tortilla chips. Perfect start. The cheese dip was super tasty and of great consistency for dipping. Loved the poblano flavor of the salsa. What a great start! Tacos - 3 Tacos of your choice. I choose the carne asada, hot fried chicken and mango-hop-andero shrimp. Each had their own vibe of flavors. Standout was the carne asada with the fire from the avocado serrano sauce. Full of fresh ingredients making this taco lover happy! Churritos - 3 mini churros in cinnamon sugar served with Mexican chocolate sauce. The soft chew of the churro, the cinnamon sugar and that delicious chocolate. Simply amazing!

I gotta say, I was pretty blown away by the delicious lunch I got at Sierra Grill. As you can see in my amazingly executed photos (hehehe) they made one heck of a plate of steak frites. Like, I mean, I almost wept at the beauty of it.I was at lunch with my coworkers so I didn't ask to take pictures of their food but everyone seemed very pleased and as we were celebrating my birthday, they let me choose a dessert. We chose the chocolate torte and it isn't picture only because i couldn't stop my spoon from delving into its rich chocolatey depths! It was so rich and delicious! The service was great, attentive but not hovering, which I appreciate. The art was also amazing! You can scan the QR code and get a description (and purchase) a lot of the pieces up in the walls. I will definitely make my way back to Sierra Grill!

Service here in impeccable, my issue with dinner I last ate was actually dishes, now first of all let me lead with saying I'm hyper critical when I comes to food. The first dish was a pate that was a generous importion size that being said, the tiny triangle of bread that was severe to me to eat with it was not nearly enough, I stole bread off my husband app. Second dish Artic char was perfect! Rice and Romesco cauliflower were blah. The next dish lamb was good. The " duck fat confit" potatoes were NOT cooked at all practicality raw, and I'm sorry were not confit, nor was there ANY duck fat they were slightly streamed whole raw potatoes. Next dessert, not sure where to start on that? Under ripe papaya with a stiff cream??? Weird Definitely not barbarian pastry cream.

Snooze is the epitome of what every breakfast place should be, IMO! Fresh new takes on all the classics with great texture and flavor pairings in every dish! I opted for the SWEET POTATO & VEGGIE SMASH UP - Two smashed and griddled sweet potatoes dressed with pickled onions and our asparagus, red onion, & mushroom salad. Topped with avocado, a poached cage-free egg and hemp seeds. Drizzled with our house-made Snooze Sriracha maple syrup. DIVINE! I don't do much sugar in the morning, and didn't want a heavy meal - this was satisfying and delicious! Paired it with a simple cappuccino and I was SET!Friends explored the Bloody Mary (with bacon, $1.50 or $2 extra...), and an Espresso Martini - they sang their praises!

We had to come here based off the photos and the amazing cockatoo menu they had. The inside was still decorated for Christmas and it was amazing!I ordered the Raspberry Collins and the Strawberry Fields and both were absolutely amazing. We asked for recommendations for food and our bartender told us the Jalapeño Crab Rangoon Dip was a must try and he was right. Amazing drinks, fantastic service and amazing ambiance. We had to come here based off the photos and the amazing cockatoo menu they had. If you're looking for some good tacos and burritos in town, I would try Taco Naco. This place delivers on flavor, freshness, and quality. The burritos are packed with delicious, well-seasoned fillings, wrapped in a fresh tortilla. The carne asada in the tacos are tender and pair well with the pico.Beyond the food, the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I do wish they had a station for salsas and extra taco additives. But they do give you plenty for each taco. I also really like the grocery store aspect of the restaurant as you can shop for sauces and other authentic goods!

"This is a super fun and one of the most unique venues in KC. It's large with different rooms for dinner, drinks, and live music. And the ambiance is on point with the nautical theme. We started with some drinks and dinner. I went with one of their drink specials, the Dragonfruit margarita-Silver Tequila, fresh lime, agave, and dragonfruit. It was really sweet and summery. This would be fantastic on a hot summer evening on their patio. My partner ordered a fig Manhattan and thought it was good. I ordered the Cubano: shaved ham, salami, roasted pork loin, swiss cheese, pickles, mayo and mustard, pressed french roll. This version reminded me of a Cuban that the foundry had before they closed. It was one of my favorites and I'm so glad I ordered this one. I love the addition of the salami and I appreciate the pressed French roll. I'd definitely order it again. I upgraded my side to the smoked Mac and cheese: creamy classic mac and cheese, hickory smoked Kansas City style. This was some of the best Mac and cheese that I've had in KC. I would totally order it by itself as an entree. My partner tried the KC Reuben: hickory smoked pastrami, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, kc special thousand island, marbled rye. He said it had good flavor but the meat was a little on the fatty side. But he still ate it and said it was overall good. He also tried the coleslaw. He said it was alright. It had celery and red peppers so it was a little non traditional and it was chopped pretty large. We also ordered a cup of the chicken and sausage gumbo. It also had a good flavor and we'd definitely order it again. After dinner we made our way over to the music venue side. They do have a few tables throughout but you'd need to arrive early to snag one because they fill up fast. They also have bars in a few different locations so you can easily grab a drink. The dance floor in the middle is fun. It quickly filled up with people and there were even some dance offs. Definitely check out this spot and grab food, drinks, and listen to some music."
"I've eaten here twice in the last month. The creme brulee French toast and brown butter pancakes are my favorites ( carbs be damned when I eat here ). The bacon and eggs are cooked to perfection. The sticky duck wings have a great sweet and savory teriyaki taste. I just wish they came in a spicy variation. The food presentation is nothing short of exquisite. Service has been great both time's I've been here. The ambience is colorful, chic, eye catching. They celebrate local artists by having their art on display. A culinary gem in the heart of KC. Can't wait to go again!"
"Stopped in because we had a gift card from my wife's workplace. Saying I was surprised is an understatement. The staff - very friendly and accommodating. Each person we spoke with was helpful without being over the top. Appetizers - best calamari I've ever had. Mushroom were a delicious surprise. Worked great with my steak. The bread is so light and delicious by itself self. Main Course - my wife's fish (can't remember which one it was. Red snapper I think). Much more than expected but flavorful and light. The entire plate was balanced and she loved the green mint sauce too. Ribeye was larger than expected also. Perfect cook. Fat to meat ratio is on point. Side were very good. Star is the steak. My son's lasagna here was much more than expected. Flavor in the marinara is deep. So much happening and it all works. Even a slight heat on the back side. I didn't try any more than that but he loved it. Pricing - yep it's more than some places. What you get for the increased is a better meal, great staff who seem to care, and plenty of food for the price. We will return here and try more off the menu. It's a nice environment with a comfy feel. We went early but when we left it was filling up. They say it's all fresh prepped and it shows."
"I've had this newer location for Third Street Social on my list for some time so when a friend asked if we could meet here for lunch I jumped at the chance. It's located along main street near the Peanut, in the old Nick & Jake's building. I feel like this spot sees a lot of turnover so I'm pulling for Third Street to be a local presence in this location for years to come. The ambiance is nice, I found it to be a bit chilly indoors, but you know it was early fall and with temperatures fluctuating it might just have been the nature of the time of year we found ourselves in. The salmon salad I had was very tasty, though nothing I couldn't get just about anywhere in town. Overall I'd say the food here and the ambiance make for a nice little local spot. I would like to see some more stand out entrees, but honestly it all tasted great and the food my friend got looked even better. I'm sure I'll be back soon!"
"Delicious "nice/upscale" Mexican-slanted place. All 4 of us enjoyed our food and the fancy nachos we shared. Glad we walked out of Campus Bar to eat here instead."
"Went for the Caesar. Very disappointing. I wanted it colder, which might just be from inattentive waitstaff, but wilty lettuce will never impress. We had just a few minutes to eat and run and they boxed our pizza to go as their recommendation. It was good. Good vibes. We liked the music and the low key feel."
"I enjoyed my lunch at Cliff's Taphouse. It is a casual restaurant with friendly service and tasty food and drinks. I was happy with my Lavender Lemonade cocktail made with Kansas City Rally gin, lavender syrup, mint, lime, and lemonade. It was refreshing, not overly sweet, and had a kick from the gin. I ordered the small-sized Shrimp & Grits. It was flavorful with three grilled blackened shrimp, cheddar jalapeno grits, brown butter creole sauce, tomato, onion, and green onion. I thought the plate, at $13.00, could have been larger with additional shrimp and grits.I tried a piece of the Pear & Brie flatbread. This delicious vegetarian dish has brie cheese, ripe pear, and caramelized onion. It was both savory and sweet. Overall, it is an excellent choice for classic American dishes and an extensive wine, beer, and cocktail menu."
"Staff friendly and helpful. One server plucked an orange section from the bar tray and began munching down on it. Kind of inappropriate. She could have stepped into an area where public can't view. Other than that low level deficit this is a stellar pizza place."
"This is such a beautiful spot. It's an experience. The food is delicious. It was the most amazing steak that I've ever had. The chef has a brilliant mind and puts together a menu that is top notch. The servers are exceptional. It's almost like they're psychic because they anticipate your needs. The pastry chef has made so many of my favorite desserts. I'm so impressed by her mind too. The ice cream she creates are simply divine."
"The vibe is amazing! Servers know the menu! NA drinks are yummy! Rain or shine the patio, bar and setting is so chill and classy!"
"My favorite part of King G is when the bar opens its garage door windows on a nice day.Nothing beats a flash of outside air during Kansas City's best days. The upstairs ground level is a welcome space. You can belly up to the bar or find seats at some of the island tables, but you can also walk around without issues, even when it's busy. The bar on the downstairs level is a little more exclusive, which is fine. I think it adds to the mystique. The drink menu includes a solid list of cocktail options paired with some of the best local beers.Food from the attached deli is better than good."
"It was 3-ish on a Saturday afternoon. My ragamuffin, Ipo was next door at the spa (Woofgang's) and I had an hour and half to kill. Didn't want to drive anywhere because the construction and roads were crazy. I wandered into Ironhorse. It was mostly empty but they had a sign to wait to be seated (I'm guessing short-handed). I was greeted almost immediately and shown to a table. I just wanted a smallnibble so I ordered a short glass of Pinot Noir and the queso and chips. The service good, the waitstaff was nice. The food. It's a bar snack, so not particularly impressive. The house Pinot was better than I'd been expecting. If I find myself in the area again, I'd drop in again."
"It's hard to impress guests from the coasts. But when I had to come up with a great breakfast place when my daughter & fiance were recently here from Seattle, I remembered reading about Banksia. We gave it a shot and I chose well. From my spanikopita roll to their full breakfasts with yummy looking fritters, bacon, buttery eggs, broiled tomatoes and some Aussie-style bread -- everyone ate everything. When I took my chef there for a date, he raved too. We had some delicious drinks this time, and my veggie breakfast burrito was amazing. Even the pastries were great -- regardless what you're craving the whole menu is available all day so you can't go wrong timing-wise. Aside from the great food, every staff member I've had the pleasure of meeting has been friendly and welcoming, which isn't something I take for granted anymore. For catering to our varied dietary prefs to great food that offers a window into life down under -- the eating part at least -- I've quickly become a big fan of this delicious slice of Australia right up the street."
"I have brought friends here... I have brought my Husband here for a date - literally all I think about is this place. It's like having a weird affair with my normal bar, when I'm anywhere else I just think of the W the entire time. Am I.. cheating on my favorite bars? Is this sophisticated hidden secret really my dream bar? Why am I asking so many questions????I literally text them and I'm like... hey... [whispers into phone] table for 2 at 7pm please.... And they whisper back "ok see you soon, heart emoji". I will not share photos because it would ruin the secrecy. Just come here and see for yourself."
"We had breakfast while staying here it was very good and the view was nice as well. Nothing fancy but tasted great."
"This was really pretty great, and I say that even with the caveat that we ordered it from a delivery service, which doesn't always provide the best version of a restaurant. The tacos here held together really well, and were perfectly sized, perfectly portioned, and, well, perfect. I tried the al pastor which is sort of my gold standard, as well as a baja shrimp taco that includes chorizo and a chipotle aioli. That one was good, but decadent; I'd compare my order to getting a sushi order where I got a few simple ones (comparable to maki) and one decadent one, like those rolls with fried bits and cream cheese. Their chips and guac were tasty and also well portioned. We have another spot that we order from and sometimes it's an almost literal thimble of guac, not the case here. We also ordered a side of verde salsa that was great. Nothing not to like here, and even though I haven't been in, I think this is a spot that's earned some time in the rotation."
"We come here all the time! A great place to eat! If you want a pretty place to eat during Christmas time go sit on the bar side and soak in plenty of Christmas love! Service is always great, food is always delicious and perfectly cooked. I would recommend this place to anyone anytime!"
"Perfect Hang Out PubIn the very heart of downtown Lee's Summit sits Brick's. It doesn't have a gourmet menu or a high class clientele, but it does have an honest neighborhood vibe. Should you be looking for glitz and glamor just go across 3rd Street to 3rd Street Social and you'll be fine. But if you want a more relaxed evening with regular folk for a beer and a burger, Brick's might be your place. There is nothing wrong with tailoring your expectations. As expected, there is no private lot, but downtown Lee's Summit is best enjoyed strolling its shop filed streets, after finding that elusive parking spot. Should you require a handicap space there is one right at their front door! The decor is an honest neighborhood bar feel, usually filled with a high percentage of regulars - the must be coming back for a reason! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Drinks and food (apps and handhelds) are affordable. In fact you can pile up your hot dog into a serious chili dog at no additional cost (but a great deal of added enjoyment). Entertainment is as expected with trivia nights and such, but also the only cigar night in town on their patio one night a week. So skip the glitz and stop by for a friendly drink and some pretty good wings. You will be glad you did."
"Food is always good. Love this place. I always think I'll have something different, but when I get there, my soul always says to get the shrimp and grits. Family loves fish and chips and chicken fried chicken."
"Thank. The. Lord. This bar is EXACTLY what KC needs, and specifically what the Power and Light district needs. In a city without a ton of jazz options (despite calling itself a jazz town) this spot fills a definite niche and will be one of the hottest tickets in Kansas City. Wanna feel classy and sexy and awesome? Get thee to Kill Devil! So why does this place stand out compared to the other jazz bars in town? Well, primarily in the fact that instead of acting as a listening room, where you have your seat and you just sit there quietly while applauding politely every 10 minutes or so, this place seems to embrace the rowdy, sexy nature of a jazz bar! People are dancing and mingling and while they still appreciate the excellent musicians, they're not being held captive by the tunes. Bottom line: It's hard to have a bad time when you're listening to a 10 piece brass band. Additionally, the drink menu here is stellar. Kill Devil boasts the largest rum selection in KC, and will feature a number of punch options for both individuals or groups! These are Grade-A, hand-crafted cocktails, and the price tag reflects it. But it's all part of the atmosphere. I wouldn't want to come here and drink crappy beer or a well vodka soda. Speaking of atmosphere, the decor of this place is great. All dark woods, it nods to the past but isn't overly themey. I love that they have checkerboards in the corner, it's a nice tip of the hat to Cuban/Puerto Rican/South Floridian culture, without coming off too strong. And the staff all look impeccable. Welcome to town, Kill Devil. You're top notch!"
"We spent this evening at Lonnie's Reno Club. What a delight. He has so much talent and energy. It was an evening of great jazz, wonderful food and a cozy atmosphere that felt like friends. The service was wonderful as well. I'm so happy I got to experience this evening at such a fun classy Club."
"Fresh food..Pulled pork sandwich, salad, buffalo chicken dip, and fried potato appetizer"
"Sorry I forgot to take pictures. First off, we were starving , so dug in right away. We happened to walk in off the street as the place we picked had an hour long wait, and so we walked looking for something else and it was pouring, and this place seated us right away. Seems to be filled with college kids! The chips are homemade! They were served warm! Very exciting as I don't think I ever had warm chips before! And the food was standard Mexican fare, and they had a separate vegetarian section, but the people are so friendly and wonderful! I definitely would recommend this place! The other tables around us were raving about how great their food was! So I guess the meat is phenomenal!"
