"10 stars! Best Indian food and customer service we've ever had! Food was bursting with flavor. We came to celebrate my daughter's birthday and it was truly a special event!!"
"I've been exploring new places and I just gave this a chance. This is literally by my house and I just now found out about it. I got the regular chicken sandwich to try with no onions and pickles and some fries on the side. It was very good! The chicken was cooked well and the flavor was amazing. We just went thru the DT so we didn't get to check eating at the location but other than that, the service was great and very friendly. Please give this place a chance. Is delicious!"
"I was kid free for the night and wanted something delicious and easy. Gus's had been in town for a little bit and so I decided to try it. I am not usually one who wants spicy chicken and had been told it was really hot. The night I went they had a special of two thighs, two legs, bread, coleslaw and beans. For 50 cents more I switched the beans to the potato salad the waitress recommended. The iced tea here is brewed which is always a win for me. For dessert I took home the sweet potato pie!Chicken was hot and super fresh. It was spicy but not kick you in the face, just I am gonna give you the sniffles for an hour. Lol. It was so juicy and tender and crunch on the outside was top notch. The potato salad had just a slight sweet kick but I liked it because it didn't have a bunch of crud in it. No chucks of celery or onion. The coleslaw was light and refreshing. It was a cream sauce but it was not under or over sauced. It was delicious and I am super picky about coleslaw. I ate the sweet potato pie at home. It was good but a little to sweet for me. Which is ok cause sweet souther pies are supposed to be that way. The texture was spot on and I would recommend it to others. I would not take my parents here and it's to spicy for them, but I will be back."
"Creative and good flavors. It won't replace your craving for a burger but it does get that good flat top caramelization. The waffle on the side was a little dry, even with the (fun!) beef bacon :)The guy at the window didn't seem all that happy to see us, but gave us good expectations on wait time. (About 10 min cause he's gonna make it fresh!)"
"How could I eat here and not do a Yelp? I admit, I got it door dashed good from Chick-in-waffle when I'm 5 minutes away. The order was still warm and I enjoyed it. I loved the bubble waffle and wished I had ordered another. It was crispy and delicious. Albeit huge. The chicken was better seasoned than Crane's and I really enjoyed it. I ordered a second piece of chicken, thinking it was a chicken finger. It's not. It's almost an entire meal I do wish I'd gotten a second waffle. I don't trust restaurant maple syrup to be 100%, so I use mine. I ordered a frozen strawberry drink. This might have been ordering it from DoorDash, it was mostly melted. I've ordered slushies from other places, they are frozen. I'm so close to Chick in Waffle and will be ordering or visiting there again (and probably on repeat.)"
"Really liked the taste of the tikka masala chicken waffle (don't expect authenticity though, it was sprinkled with jalapenos and shredded parmesan, but still tasted good!)"

The food was terrific as was the staff. I was treated like a prince. For religious purposes, I don't eat any of the alliums (onions, garlic, etc.). I mentioned this to my server and she was very accommodating. There wasn't even a moment hesitation about whether they could make my food to my preferences.I had the mushroom mattar makhani, mint naan, and mango lassi. The entrée and the naan were hot when they were brought to the table. Both were very flavorful. the makhani was wonderfully spiced. The lassi was cool and refreshing as it should be.My only complaint is that I was racially profiled! I am a Caucasian male. When the server took my order, she asked me if I wanted my food, mild or medium. I was not even given the option of spicy. (there's a Thai restaurant I go to in my hometown. I usually get the food, medium, but every now and again when I'm feeling reckless, I will tell them to make the food spicy, but for an American, not for an Asian)I'm only in town for two nights and I plan on returning to Korma Sutra for dinner tomorrow night.

After feeling let down by my last trip to Popeyes, my fried chicken itch had not been scratched. It had been a few years since I'd been to Strips so I thought I'd try them again. Ordered the 7 piece strips (it's literally the name, gotta get them, right?) and a side of fried pickles and jalapeños. I can't resist fried pickles and jalapeños sounded like a good add. Almost added a drink but that would have put my total over $20 so I opted for water. Totaled out to $18.05, still a bit pricey but when I got my plate 2 and 2 made 4. Food came out quick and was clearly fresh. Service was on par for fast food; nothing to ride home about there. Spent the next 40 minutes eating and watching cars go by on Santa Fe. Not some place I'd bring a date but there's something that's not a screen to look at which I always consider a plus. Finally the food; what everyone wants to know: was it good? Eh. I've had better strips; these were a bit bland despite the hype of its pretzel breading. The fried pickles and jalapeños, on the other hand, made up for the lackluster protein. Guess I'll have to come back and try something else, if for nothing more than to get those pickles again. Tl; dr: good fried pickles and mid strips. You get volume for the price. Recommend driving through.

I was in KC for the weekend and googled for the best fried chicken. From the moment I parked I loved it. The service was super fast. The restaurant was clean. The meal was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend.

First time trying this place! I learned about it from TikTok. I ordered Jerk Chixen Chili over the Jalapeño cornbread waffle and the blue velvet brownie.Im very pleased with my order. Everything was delicious and I will definitely be back to try other menu items. The butter that goes on the waffle is amazing all by itself!

If you're reading this review, then you should try it. Far better than I expected after denying to eat here for months. Solid chicken, the waffle is delicious, and the Mac is above average for fast casual.

Looking for something different to try? This spot was cute and tiny but it packed a punch. We tried the spicy honey chicken over fries. The entree was huge and offered enough for us to split. The sauce was very good and there were jalapeños on it also, they had a cute side of the place that was setup as an ice cream shop. We were a little to full but we will be back for a waffle ice cream plate.

3 stars for food and a bonus star added for full-time 5th grade teacher, part-time waitress, Lilly. She was sweet as can be and was obviously proud of what they had to offer. From the typical shredded bag salad, cellophane packaged Club crackers, to the iced tea served with the squeezable plastic lemon juice bottle, everything about this landmark small town diner says "country style".We enjoyed their famous fried chicken but were a little disappointed in the grade/size of most of the pieces other than breast portions. It is not on par with the Brookville Hotel in Abilene, KS or other great places in the South for fried chicken, but still a nice little spot.

Patrick and I were doing postmates and someone placed an order from here and it smelled delicious so we decided we would try this place in our free time. The nice thing about this place is that they're open late. I mean late late. On Saturdays they're open until 2am. There's not many places you can go and get fried chicken that late. I was sad because I wanted some sweet potatoes, but by the time I arrived, the sides were all sold out. Overall, the food was hella good. I ordered the 4 piece wing (dry lemon pepper) and 4 jumbo shrimp. I love how many dry and wet options of sauces they offer. However, I was confused because we ordered through the drive thru, pulled up to the window and she forget that we even ordered so we were waiting for about 30 minutes. But I would definitely give this place a try.

"Boy, is this place busy! Big groups come in, sit down. We came specifically for the fried chicken. The waitress took awhile to get to us. We order the 1/2 chicken with green beans, butterfly coated breast with green beans and a side order of hand breaded onion wings. She asked if we would like rolls with that. Yes. We waited 45 minutes for our order. They were short handed, as it appeared someone quit mid rush. Our waitress began running register for a bit. When our order arrived, my husband received the wrong order. The waitress went back to reorder. She came back with the onion rings, no rolls. We ate. After our meal, the waitress appeared with the correct chicken. We got a go box with chicken and rolls. The place was still packed and all 3 dining areas were opened at this time. The chicken was basic, nothing to write home about. Someone didn't add seasoning, as the coating was bland. The breast hubby ate was overcooked. The onion rings were outstanding. The green beans had been cooked with bacon, so they were flavorful. A one and done for us. On to the next chicken house."
"Do you like fried food? I like fried food, so I like Fat Jack's. Tried them via doordash for lunch today. Sampled the jumbo shrimp, the fish, and the chicken wings. Their breading is more flavorful than most, which is welcome since I've eaten from a lot of similar places around town that were lacking for flavor or too dry, which Fat Jack's fried foods are also not too dry. Frying is done correctly and moisture is locked in, especially the wings which, while not the meastiest I've ever had, were moist and delicious. Jumbo shrimp here are very much jumbo, also to an extent you won't find at many similar joints. The fish was seasoned well also and very good. My daughter also got a fish sandwich kids meal which was a good value - the sandwich had some lettuce and cheese on it in addition to the choice of catfish or whiting which will of course be fried. As far as sides go, I tried the mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, and the fries that came on the side, and they were all pretty good. The mac and cheese was a bit on the light/watery side compared to what I generally prefer which is thicker. After placing my order, a young lady called me from the restaurant to confirm what type of fish I wanted on my daughter's fish sandwich kids meals. She was very nice, so while I haven't been in here yet in person, I'd say it's fair to say that the service is probably very good just based on interacting with her on the phone."
"After living in Miami and Tampa over the last 20 years and eating numerous Cuban sandwiches from places there, I can say without a doubt that the Cuban at Bill's is the BEST I ever had. Seriously......I was not expecting that to happen and will probably get disowned."
"Small chicken shack in the City Market. The staff is friendly and the food is made fresh to order. The menu features fried chicken, chicken fingers, waffles, fries, etc. The chicken fingers and fries had a great flavor, were juicy, and well seasoned. The value is good for what you get. During the week you can just pull inside and park. On the weekends you'll have to park in an outside lot."
"I'm a little perplexed about the ratings on this place. I'm eating it now for the first time and I'm telling you my taste buds are SINGING. This is flavor. I'm loving the Cajun fries, perfect! The chicken is so crispy on the outside with a delicious rub, and so damn juicy. At first I was like "meh" with the Mac n cheese but then I put some of the house hot sauce in there..that's yummy.Anyway, I'm a new regular customer so hi."
"Pretty unique fast food type concept. Really enjoyed my parmesean garlic chicken sandwich, and my wife liked her queso chicken waffle. Hope they open one closer to KCK!"
"So I stumbled on this spot after driving to El Pollo Rey and finding it closed. I took a chance on a smaller, little known gem and I'm so glad I did! The chicken is moist, tender, and magnificently seasoned. The skin isn't very crispy because it's more smoked than grilled. But the star of the show? THE RIBS. Dios Mio! Listen, I ate the ribs with no sauce and barely chewed... they were tender, seasoned, caramelized and smoked to perfection. The sauce that comes with is unlike any bbq I've ever tasted. (I actually put it on my chicken, though because the other sauce was a little spicy for me.) The owner welcomed me in on this hot 4th of July--he was warm, friendly and proud of his skills. And sir, you should be! Your ribs are FYAH!Ya'll can bring these ribs to your cookout and people will want to know whose uncle was on the pit... yes, that good. :) You can buy the ribs by the pound and a whole or 1/2 chicken. I'm not really a sides girl, but the rice, beans, sauce and tortillas that come with your meal are tasty, too. I could feel the love in every bite. I live in Lees Summit, but I'll make the drive back there any day!"
