"Good variety, food was hot, clean bathroom (men). Recommend ,........................"
"The food was very yummy, the restaurant, restrooms, and food area were very clean, the people who work here (and I think the owners) were very kind and accommodating. They had good variety for an Asian buffet, which I have partaken in many where we were from in San Diego. We came in with a group of seven, including four young children, and they were so helpful and patient with us. Plus there was something yummy to eat for everyone. My seven year- old said she wants to live here , which is saying something because she is very picky."
"Brand new location! Joy Wok IS a super buffet! It offers hibachi, sushi, salad, dessert, and traditional Chinese food. We went for lunch and the cost was $12.99 for adults much less for kids. All food was hot and fresh! I was disappointed in the hot and sour soup. It was mostly broth and was neither hot (spicy) or sour! The hibachi station offered plenty of veggies and protein...ask for extra sauce..All in all, it was a great experience and I am ready for more!"
"The buffet is fantastic! Great way to try many authentic Mexican dishes in one go. The mole chicken was fantastic! Rich mildly sweet sauce and super juicy tender chicken throughout."
"The food was good just it looked disgusting but tasted goodThe service was good they were kindAnd it was quiet and only my family and 1 other person"
"Haven't been here in like 10 years! Thought we would go since it's been forever. It was very good. Loved all the meat selections offered. Even got some grilled pineapple! It was so good. Glad they came around with it to the table! The buffet part does have some good options, but don't expect something huge like you're at Golden Corral. No. It's fancy sides, this place isn't really for young kids. But the buffet part has had a salad bar with 4 choices of dressings and few toppings. Also some cold sides like pasta salad, pineapple salad, cucumber salad, broccoli salad, asparagus, other veggie blends, and such. If you're picky you might not like the cold side options except salad. They have a lot of Brazilian sides. It's a Brazilian restaurant! There's soup, alfredo, mashed potatoes, beans, veggies for hot sides. Beef stroganoff was good too. You get bread and these cinnamon banana things too for the table. They do have dessert if you happen to save any room! You get so full with all the meat! We got tres leche cake and this passionfruit mousse. O my gosh, that mousse is amazing!!!"
"Didn't know this place had a buffet until someone told me. The lunch buffet wasn't bad. You get a variety of Thai food from their menu, with a lot of different meat options with the dishes. Food was hot still at the buffet table. Service was good. The interior was spacious!"
"Great food with wonderful service! I had the Pitchfork Melt with the homemade chips. Loved it! My husband had the Smoked Meat Salad with their brisket. He thought is was very good - and filling!Definitely give this place a try - you won't be disappointed!"
"I've gone here for years and it's always been great, but make sure you're hungry when you walk in or you'll be overstuffed when you leave staff is friendly and attentive, restaurant is clean, and food is amazing! Nothing really negative to say about this place."
"This is a small restaurant. I have only had beef fried rice - takeout. Base on this limited sample I give them a rating of 5. The people were friendly, the restaurant appeared neat and clean. The beef fried rice (spicy) was excellent. The buffet was very small compared to Chinese restaurants in the bigger cities."
"What can be better? My son took me to Mama China's, and paid for it. The crab rangoon, the walnut shrimp, and the sautéed green beans, that are fresh, not canned, all waiting to be devoured. Oh and, lo mein noodles, stuffed mushrooms, kun-pao chicken. I think the green beans and walnut shrimp are still my favorite. No, maybe the green beans, only are my favorite. But, wait, I love the honey chicken, and the cashew chicken also, with the baby corn. I always make sure to eat doubles (though I know I get too full doing this), and can't eat later. My iced tea was unlimited, and so was the soda. It was pretty crowded today, for a Saturday afternoon. Everything was fresh, and they put out fresh crab rangoon as I was going into the serving area. The crab rangoon so creamy without any chunks at all, melts in your mouth. They also replaced the green beans. I've said how much I love those green beans. I could make a meal out of the green beans alone. This is a place I suggest if you're in Raytown, to not miss."
"We nearly did not go because of rating. We thought it was great. Very good for a buffet. Hibachi was pleasant surprise. There were a couple things that I didn't care for, but more of preference issue. The rest tasted very good. My brother and I could not figure out why it had a 2 star rating. I wish the buffet back home was this good."

Went hereLast year and the food was nothing to write home about but it was ok! Thought of going to the Fortune Palace but the reviews are getting worse every day. So we went back here. Today it was terrible, everything except the fish was cold. The salmon was over cooked and the wings were cooked to death and cold. I told the manager that everything was cold and he said, see that steam rolling out it is hot , it's because they are all full. I told him that you need to stir it every once in a while like all the other Chinese restaurants do. Not going to go back. Look out Fortune Palace will be seeing you the next time through.

Great food, clean facility and fresh food plus they have industrious, very friendly staff. The sushi is excellent quality and they replenish food & sauces all the time! My one negative is food scrap/trash buckets on tables are often grungy.

Wow! Every time we go, we leave so pleased and full! Their buffet has authentic and flavorful Mexican dishes-- menudo, chiles rellenos, barbacoa, pescado frito, picadillo, chicharrón en salsa verde... the menu options change so what you like one day... might change the next! Aside from these delicious options, a small salad bar and sweet desserts are also available-- usually arroz con leche and sweet potato. Service is always welcoming and attentive. We love their coffee and hearing other people enjoy their food experience. The owners are a delight!

This place was pretty good. At first We though it was small and might regret eating but the food was good and fresh even though only a few people was in there.

This used to be my favorite place. My family has been eating here since they first opened. So I thought I would treat a friend who did me a huge last minute favor. She'd never been before. The good - the food is amazing. You can get more than full from the salad bar so watch out. It includes hot foods as well. So when the meat begins to circulate to your table leave room. Honestly - the only thing I miss is the bowl of spice that used to be near the rice. I don't think they have it anymore. The not so good. We had a young waitress who stopped by every five minutes. Maybe she was training. I should have asked for someone else. But after a while of her "upselling" and continuously interrupting our conversations I was ready to pack up, pay and leave. I didn't see that happen to other customers around us. Also, continuously asking if we want a desert menu while we are eating (or trying to) is ridiculous. Meat was just okay. Not amazing like I remembered. Also - we ordered mocktails. 2 Redrum Lemonades. No alcohol. But our bill still included a liquor tax. Sigh.Em Chamas is really good, but I didn't enjoy the overall experience. Receipt was $145 before tip. My daughter took her boyfriend the next week and had a better experience. So I only took one star off my reviewAgain - salad bar was amazing. Rotating meat service was just okay. Waitress was not up to standard.

We always forget about this little gem and it is less than a mile away by Home Depot. Everyone who works here is always very friendly and offer advice on the menu for newbies. We went on a slow, very cold night and it was a bit chilly inside. That was the only downside, and remedied quickly with some hot spicy thai food! The Pad Sea Eu beef is very good, and a massive portion that filled me up twice. The Pho with beef was also very good! The only downside is no soup or salad comes with the meal, but as mentioned, portions are large. They have a lunch buffet that we plan to try, as those are very rate nowadays after the Pandemic.

"Everyone was in line waiting over 20 minutes for fried chicken so I didn't bother with that. I got yams which were super hot and very well spiced. The macaroni was out of this world!! I don't even usually ever get macaroni but this was amazingly seasoned and had SUCH flavor! Finally the banana pudding was impressively delicious. I've had about 1000 average banana puddings in my life but not kidding something about this one was extra delicious. I am super impressed with how good the food was despite me just ordering side dishes."
"Amazing lunch buffet and worth the drive. Cozy and homestyle cooking done right. Drove out to check this out and will be back. Worth the 20 minute drive!"
"Cute diner located right off the highway. I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast. Everything was great except the hash browns were a bit greasy. The waitress was friendly and frequently checked in on us. The quotes carved into each booth were fun to read."
"More of 3.5 stars, but our service was really good...HS age/college age girl with glasses. She sat us was super polite and friendly. Cleared our table fast and made sure we had water refills. The buffet itself is your standard buffet. There are better ones out there, but for the price $6.65/lunch and $8.??/dinner you can't beat that. They have a pretty big selection of things to choose from. One other review recommends the pepper shrimp and I second that. Overall the food was good. Crab Rangoon was good- but could've used more filling inside. Th egg rolls were ok."
"I thought this place was great. Very clean, no only gross food sitting around, and a great wait staff! They have a little bit of everything. Chinese, sushi, some American food like pizza. Great fruit selection! I will definitely be back next time I'm in town. My picky young children even found a ton of stuff they liked."
"Sure Tastes Like Home Cooking!Full Disclosure: This was the first time I have eaten at a buffet in over 10 years. But for an old friend's birthday celebration I figured it was time.Located in a strip mall on Clinton's Ohio Street, there is ample parking in their private lot. The lot being nearly full on a Thursday noon was a good sign of its popularity.Coming through the front door I noticed how clean and well maintained everything was for an older building. Walking past the food I also noticed that everything looked and smelled fresh and warm (no empty pans or caked mess around the pans). Yet another good sign. At the cash register the young lady took our drink orders and accepted my credit card payment. As we sat down at our table our server appeared immediately and offered to take our trays (there are no "rails" along the serving line to rest them on). Getting up-close and personal with the food really whet my appetite. Their salad bar offered a number of different salads, along with pepperoni, ham, bacon, beets, cheeses, and about anything else you might want. The meats were all inviting (their BBQ Brisket was thick sliced, and not a bit dry or tough, chicken not dry, and meatloaf like mother used to make). Followed by 3 kinds of fish, hush puppies, fried okra, and chicken. Even past noon, there were breakfast items (scrambled eggs, biscuits & sausage gravy, ham, bacon, and more cheese) followed by chicken livers and fresh veggies. In fact, a vegetarian would feel very welcome here! The desert section stopped me cold with their coconut cream pie and fresh brownies. The amazing thing was that everything tasted like home cooking! Not sure how that was done, but it sure seemed that way. Our server kept a good eye on our needs throughout the meal. And there was no rush to turn our table as we sat for over an hour and a half chatting. Our three meals (with an number of return trips to the serving bar) came out to a very affordable $38 including tax. Needless to say, I did tip on the higher end of the scale. Should you find yourself hungry in Clinton,MO., do yourself a favor and fill up at Deitz. I know that I sure will."
"Good home cooking! They have a buffet, which my family loves. I prefer to order off the menu. Every time we've been here it's been good. The fish is yummy, along with the fried chicken!"
"Great service Lisa Brenda Pedro Leo Suzy and ensecto and staff and great crab salad and great location"
"Wow. Great place. Will be back. We both got the chicken fried chicken n gravy. 5 starsMashed potatoes n gravy 4 starsOnion rings (Huge!) - 5 starsDinner salad - 3.5 starsDeserts - chocolate-chocolate cake...5 stars - peach cobbler 3.5 stars Service - 5 starsOverall would give 4.5 stars"
"Our first time dining in, this is typically our go to for DoorDash if we're getting Indian.Valentines dinner was lovely. They had the place decorated with roses and candles on each table, balloons throughout. We can earlier and were one of the first seated. They give complimentary chutney and crackers. We ordered the garlic naan, a spicy naan, chicken samosas, chicken kalimirch and lamb coconut curry.I ordered my chicken kalimirch as extra extra spicy. And the spice level was good for me! Samosas are huge, the pastry was flaky, and not oily! The food was amazing.. we just had to wait quite a bit.Several tables who came much after us got their apps and entrees before us. It took a good 30 minutes for our samosas to get to us. I'm not sure if things are all made to order and fresh, or what was going on. We got there at about 545p but our entrees weren't presented to us until closer to 645p.We were checked on often and we did leave quite full and happy."
"My mom, sons, and I came in to try the buffet since we'd heard well of it. The location is quite close to my mom's home and we decided to check it out. Walking in, the restaurant was vey clean and well tempered. It wasn't really busy and we were fine with that! On the side where the seating resides, there's a really nice bar area with a couple tvs for viewing sports. Quite nice! On the other side, the buffet area was extremely clean and the hibachi, and sushi stations were well kept. The food looks great and fresh. The taste matched the visuals. I was very pleased at how fresh and clean tasting everything was. My young children are quite particular with food and don't like greasy foods and they are a good amount for a two and four year old! I didn't try the hibachi or sushi stations this first visit, but I May in the future! The service was pleasant and our server was very courteous in asking if we wanted more refreshments instead of just getting us more. She was awesome in allowing us to enjoy our meals without many interruptions. For the first visit, I was very pleased. I hope the location has longevity and keeps up their great menus"
"All you can eat Chinese Hot Pot! They have fresh seafood options like whole shrimp, crawfish, and mussels as well as thinly sliced meats like beef and lamb. There's a wide variety of noodles, mushrooms, and veggies (tong ho and bok choy). They have a variety of broths to choose from but always get the herbal white broth and the spicy Sichuan broth. AYCE hot pot is available all day Saturday and Sunday but during the weekdays, only from 5-9 PM. Highly recommend this place if hot pot is your jam!"
"I feel like when this place opened it was running at full speed. Since the pandemic I feel like they are running at half speed and could use some improvements. The passes are reasonable but I would say they overcharge for the games available due to the quality and condition of them. It's nice to have a place like this available to use on hot days or when the weather is not cooperating outside."
"This restaurant in "the middle of nowhere" may not look like much when you drive by, but I PROMISE you will be surprised. Don's serves THE BEST fried chicken I have ever had, and I've had fried chicken in about all 50 states. I grew up in the area and our family would go to Don's after church on Sunday and we would alllllll eat as much as we could. The mashed potatoes and gravy are spectacular and the stuffing is unbelievably delicious. 10/10 would recommend stopping at Don's if you ever get the chance! Copy & Paste link below for more recommendations on where to eat if you are in that area! https://www.throughbecsspecs.com/single-post/missouri-surprises-where-to-eat"
"Me and my kids came to visit we were treated very nicely the staff were sweet and kind and patient with us. The food was hot and replenished often and this was on a slow day maybe 10 people total in the business. Every area was filled and available."
"I have to admit this is a great little pizza joint that offers gluten-free keto and regular pizza. Their salad bars nothing to sneeze at either. Super friendly staff stumbled upon them a few weeks ago and have been there at least three times Wood highly recommend."
"Everything was good. The food was hot! That's important. The fried rice was very good!! We enjoyed the egg rolls, hot & sour soup, Hibachi chicken, Hawaiian chicken, and the General's chicken was my favorite! Their soft serve twist ice cream is very creamy and not icy like most buffets. It was yummy! Great value for a buffet. 3 people, our check was $22 after tax. Place was clean, including the restroom. Located in a shopping plaza w/ an Ace hardware, Sunfresh grocery, and directly next to a SERC physical therapy."
"So, as far as the ribs go, they are average they're not fall off the bone. They are juicy. Got a nice flavor to them."
"This place is fire. If they had more sushi, it would be 100/10 but let's not get greedy. The wallpaper is old and outdated which is exactly what I need to see when I come to a Chinese place. They have a fishtank full of sad obese fish which means the food will smack. Insane variety for the price, IMO price is best in area for what you get. Last time I went we had like 7 people on a busy day, and we got sat within 10 minutes. Screaming children running around the tables, a stamp of quality to every Chinese buffet. Ate so much I hated myself and lost 15 pounds the next month."
"We were able to walk right in and we sat ourselves at our table. They had a nice variety of options fried & steamed rice. Different chicken, beef and shrimp options other things I just can't name it all. A hibachi Station and sushi. It was several families there but it was not even loud at all."
"This is a very good place with a full selection of entrees, sides and even multiple very good desserts. What a selection of seafood. Very well prepared with all of the spices I've come to expect at a buffet. Not being a glutton, I surely only tried about 10-20% of the lunch/dinner items and all of it was good or very good. Because the displays were ample and generous, I had only one plate for lunch and another for dessert; I was also pleased with the checkout process that left me with a perfunctory fortune cookie containing a pleasant fortune.Whereas some buffets put out plenty of cooked seafood, not all are as thoroughly well seasoned and prepared. Food: 4 stars. The service was prompt and excellent from hello to goodbye. It's mainly an upbeat family atmosphere, not particularly intimate or romantic. Pleasant and studiously kept clean by an attentive but unobtrusive staff.Service: 5 stars! Ambiance: 3.5 stars.I will return here soon. It's my new favorite Chinese food spot in the N.E. K.C. area!"
"False menu pricing by manager's own admission. Charged me and my family dinner buffet pricing which increased the price by 3 dollars each, at 11am on a Saturday, when their menu specifically says lunch pricing is until 3:29pm on Saturdays.Manager refused to revise price while openly admitting the menu is outdated, though no warning prior to the meal was given. Brought cost to over $50 for 3 buffet meals and drinks."Invest 10 dollars now, if it will likely save 100 dollars in the future.""
"I had me the eggs and chopped steak breakfast which comes with hash brown and a pancake or could be substituted for a biscuit. The food was great and the service was phenomenal. The lady attending was always attentive to my drink and made sure everything was good. The place was nice and peaceful."
