"If you're wanting a place with a multitude of fresh (emphasis on FRESH) and flavourful (DITTO) dishes, which will include a plethora of choice ingredients at the Mongolian cook station, and a large variety of impressive hand rolled fresh sushi & sushimi with all the accoutrements. You'll also enjoy an extensive & delicious salad & dessert bar; 3 - 4 different soup choices, and a large variety of appetizers & sides... not to forget... they include and a handful of American dishes to suit any palate. So if you are wanting the best Asian buffet experience, then you must at least try "Legends of Asia" on 7 hwy in Blue Springs, Missouri. Seriously, they have never disappointed. I'm not a buffet fan... that said, if I must join friends and family for an Asian buffet... THIS is the only place I will go. They are very well staffed, and have an impressively large selection of dishes to choose from to suit most anyone's tastes. BTW, you can also order from the menu as well."

"Our first time dining in, this is typically our go to for DoorDash if we're getting Indian.Valentines dinner was lovely. They had the place decorated with roses and candles on each table, balloons throughout. We can earlier and were one of the first seated.They give complimentary chutney and crackers. We ordered the garlic naan, a spicy naan, chicken samosas, chicken kalimirch and lamb coconut curry.I ordered my chicken kalimirch as extra extra spicy. And the spice level was good for me! Samosas are huge, the pastry was flaky, and not oily! The food was amazing.. we just had to wait quite a bit.Several tables who came much after us got their apps and entrees before us. It took a good 30 minutes for our samosas to get to us. I'm not sure if things are all made to order and fresh, or what was going on. We got there at about 545p but our entrees weren't presented to us until closer to 645p.We were checked on often and we did leave quite full and happy."

"Haven't been here in like 10 years! Thought we would go since it's been forever. It was very good. Loved all the meat selections offered. Even got some grilled pineapple! It was so good. Glad they came around with it to the table! The buffet part does have some good options, but don't expect something huge like you're at Golden Corral. No. It's fancy sides, this place isn't really for young kids. But the buffet part has had a salad bar with 4 choices of dressings and few toppings. Also some cold sides like pasta salad, pineapple salad, cucumber salad, broccoli salad, asparagus, other veggie blends, and such. If you're picky you might not like the cold side options except salad. They have a lot of Brazilian sides. It's a Brazilian restaurant! There's soup, alfredo, mashed potatoes, beans, veggies for hot sides. Beef stroganoff was good too. You get bread and these cinnamon banana things too for the table. They do have dessert if you happen to save any room! You get so full with all the meat! We got tres leche cake and this passionfruit mousse. O my gosh, that mousse is amazing!!!"

"When people come visit me in KC and want Indian food, I take them here. It's a lunch buffet on Saturdays and Sundays, and I take full advantage of that. It's reasonably priced, around $22 per person - and the variety of food is definitely more than several other Indian buffets in KC. Food always tastes fresh and homemade. I always leave full and satisfied. They've got a couple of dessert options, including mango ice cream, kheer, halwa. I think they also recently added a dosa station, where they make dosa right in front of you and bring it to your table too.Service is fine for being a buffet style restaurant. There's plenty of tables and booths inside, so seating hasn't ever been an issue when I've gone."

"Everyone was in line waiting over 20 minutes for fried chicken so I didn't bother with that. I got yams which were super hot and very well spiced. The macaroni was out of this world!! I don't even usually ever get macaroni but this was amazingly seasoned and had SUCH flavor! Finally the banana pudding was impressively delicious. I've had about 1000 average banana puddings in my life but not kidding something about this one was extra delicious. I am super impressed with how good the food was despite me just ordering side dishes."

"This is a very good place with a full selection of entrees, sides and even multiple very good desserts. What a selection of seafood. Very well prepared with all of the spices I've come to expect at a buffet. Not being a glutton, I surely only tried about 10-20% of the lunch/dinner items and all of it was good or very good. Because the displays were ample and generous, I had only one plate for lunch and another for dessert; I was also pleased with the checkout process that left me with a perfunctory fortune cookie containing a pleasant fortune.Whereas some buffets put out plenty of cooked seafood, not all are as thoroughly well seasoned and prepared. Food: 4 stars.The service was prompt and excellent from hello to goodbye. It's mainly an upbeat family atmosphere, not particularly intimate or romantic. Pleasant and studiously kept clean by an attentive but unobtrusive staff.Service: 5 stars! Ambiance: 3.5 stars.I will return here soon. It's my new favorite Chinese food spot in the N.E. K.C. area!"

"Brand new location! Joy Wok IS a super buffet! It offers hibachi, sushi, salad, dessert, and traditional Chinese food. We went for lunch and the cost was $12.99 for adults much less for kids. All food was hot and fresh! I was disappointed in the hot and sour soup. It was mostly broth and was neither hot (spicy) or sour! The hibachi station offered plenty of veggies and protein...ask for extra sauce..All in all, it was a great experience and I am ready for more!"

"What can be better? My son took me to Mama China's, and paid for it. The crab rangoon, the walnut shrimp, and the sautéed green beans, that are fresh, not canned, all waiting to be devoured. Oh and, lo mein noodles, stuffed mushrooms, kun-pao chicken. I think the green beans and walnut shrimp are still my favorite. No, maybe the green beans, only are my favorite. But, wait, I love the honey chicken, and the cashew chicken also, with the baby corn. I always make sure to eat doubles (though I know I get too full doing this), and can't eat later. My iced tea was unlimited, and so was the soda. It was pretty crowded today, for a Saturday afternoon. Everything was fresh, and they put out fresh crab rangoon as I was going into the serving area. The crab rangoon so creamy without any chunks at all, melts in your mouth. They also replaced the green beans. I've said how much I love those green beans. I could make a meal out of the green beans alone. This is a place I suggest if you're in Raytown, to not miss."

"This restaurant in "the middle of nowhere" may not look like much when you drive by, but I PROMISE you will be surprised. Don's serves THE BEST fried chicken I have ever had, and I've had fried chicken in about all 50 states. I grew up in the area and our family would go to Don's after church on Sunday and we would alllllll eat as much as we could. The mashed potatoes and gravy are spectacular and the stuffing is unbelievably delicious. 10/10 would recommend stopping at Don's if you ever get the chance! I've seen nasty restrooms but this was the mother of them all. They don't even have proper running water. For as much as it cost to dine here, they should refocus on the quality of the food. Just because you are a buffet doesn't mean to max out quantity for quality. Grant it there are some decent dishes. This place needs good food and health inspection!!"

"My mom, sons, and I came in to try the buffet since we'd heard well of it. The location is quite close to my mom's home and we decided to check it out. Walking in, the restaurant was vey clean and well tempered. It wasn't really busy and we were fine with that! On the side where the seating resides, there's a really nice bar area with a couple tvs for viewing sports. Quite nice! On the other side, the buffet area was extremely clean and the hibachi, and sushi stations were well kept. The food looks great and fresh. The taste matched the visuals. I was very pleased at how fresh and clean tasting everything was. My young children are quite particular with food and don't like greasy foods and they are a good amount for a two and four year old! I didn't try the hibachi or sushi stations this first visit, but I May in the future! The service was pleasant and our server was very courteous in asking if we wanted more refreshments instead of just getting us more. She was awesome in allowing us to enjoy our meals without many interruptions. For the first visit, I was very pleased. I hope the location has longevity and keeps up their great menus"
