"Great food, beer and love the outdoor area! They added tetherball which is awesome! I also love being able to bring the pups there. The only thing I don't like is how you have to place your own order on your phone and you have to pay through there as well. I definitely prefer to have a server you interact with that takes your order and checks on you. They just bring you your stuff and then they also automatically add on 20% tip on your bill. It just doesn't seem right to me especially since I felt like I did most of the work. Other than that small annoyance it's an awesome place."
"Return trip to Broadway Brewery for dinner was a resounding success. For someone who was at Flat Branch on their opening day in 1994, I am a proud fan of both CoMo brewpubs! My table loved our fried cheese curds, porter dip, steak, Summer Cut Berry Berliner and Thresher Porter."
"Not much to say, best beer and burgers in Westport. Cool bartenders, cooks, and a good vibe all around."
"Staff friendly and helpful. One server plucked an orange section from the bar tray and began munching down on it. Kind of inappropriate. She could have stepped into an area where public can't view. Other than that low level deficit this is a stellar pizza place."

Great place to hang out, just outside of downtown KC - in the crossroads/brewery district.I tried two beers from the menu and enjoyed both. The first was actually a beer and a shot - Todd's Combo. The pint of Biscuit and a shot of TODAMMIT wouldn't be my go to, but it was worth trying. I actually enjoyed the beer. The cinnamon schnappy shot I could've skipped. The beer had toasty notes... if you like pale ales, it is a good tasting beer.I also tried the URSA23, which is a stouty beer. It was great tasting and filling. 12 malts and 1/3 of the batch is aged in Tom's whiskey barrels. It was delicious. We took up seats at the bar. The bartender was nice and greeted us immediately. He took our orders and put some waters in front of us. As soon as we were near empty, he asked if we wanted more or something else. He was knowledgeable in guiding us to the beers on tap. Guests have the ability to order online, but why would you with competent friendly service like this?Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The biergarten is covered, and if you want to sit out front, you can do that too. Even games for the kiddos, if you bring them along. They have flat screens showing the Chief's game, and music in the back ground if you weren't interested in football.

Cute little place! The description of the watermelon sour intrigued me so I wanted to try it. Something a little different. They had small bites as well and my friend and I split a meat n cheese plate. It was delicious. Service was friendly.

The chief was very nice and came out to talk to us after our food was cooked. I could tell he is passionate about his food and I could taste his passion by the first bite of my food. The spicy Philly was amazing!!

It's All About ServiceFor me it all started at the sinks of my uncle's diners. At 13 I was his chief dish washer. We would start every day that way, Later we would cover his catering jobs and I would hear that same mantra over and over. As I progressed up to fine dining restaurants I never forgot those words, It's all about Service!Tonight we decided on Martin City (in Lee's Summit) for a quick Sunday dinner. Our server was promptly at our table with menus and a welcoming smile. I ordered an Irish Coffee, and we went on from there. Side note here: I have tried ordering Irish Coffee in a number of local restaurants, one 4 times, and had to try to explain to a bartender how to make it at almost every one!. I brought that up to our server (just to get past all that) and she respectfully covered it with me! Amazingly, she brought me a true Irish Coffee perfectly made! About that time I asked how long she had been there and she said, "6 months" so I had to ask where she had worked before, "3 months at anther local restaurant." I was astounded! We talked for a few more minutes and realized she knew the bartender's capabilities, the strong points in the kitchen, and the details of all the menus!Needless to says the rest of the meal also went flawlessly. Phoebe was ahead of everything that happened. She had taken ownership of the table and assured everything was as we expected, and all with a genuine smile. Easily, very impressive service in pizza pub. My fragile ego aside, with continued support from management she will exceed my level of service on the tables (OK, the older I get the better I was). It was so refreshing to find talent like that less than 4 miles from home, I know we will be back in the future to bask in the glory of excellent service. Phoebe, you go girl!!

The decor is great and the bar area is very nice with plenty of seating and TVs. Our sever was very polite. The reason for the 3 stars is the due to the poor food. We ordered the Pretzel Twists with Beer Cheese Sauce. There were 3 pretzel twist sticks and they were served warm. It was Fine, not great, but Fine. I would recommend it as an appetizer, for sure. I had a pizza which could have been very good, but the pizza crust was just too doughy and the center was sticky-not cooked enough. The toppings were mainly in the middle of the pizza and the sauce did nit go to the edge of the crust, so it was also very doughy. My hub got a burger and fries. The fries were very good and I would recommend them, as well, but the burger was small and nothing special. This is a great place to watch a game and grab a beer but I would not go here for the food.

"Tasted good. Had pretzels and chicharrones for apps. Sauces are good. Had fish and chips. The fries are great! The fish was average. Shaped like typical frozen fish sticks. Tasted fine. Service was excellent. Ambiance fine. Brewery/food."
"I went here as this was the only restaurant that was opened during the week and I can spend my 50 dollar voucher. Since it was a Monday, they had some workers in training which was not too bad and was not busy that day. The sports bar is open on the weekdays from 3 to 10pm I believe and very limited on options to eat which makes sense. I had to order $50 dollars of food so here is what I got1. Sirloin Steak2. Pina Colada Cake3. Club SandwichThis was $48 dollars, but definitely enough food for the night and I ended up eating the sandwich for breakfast before heading to Durant, OK. Sirloin steak was actually good and cooked to perfection. I was expecting the steak to be tough, but was not too bad. I got the mashed potatoes which filled me up. They have a robot that serves the food and I grabbed it from the tray. The only thing they forgot was the utensils for the to go for the sandwich as I needed to eat the coleslaw with, but I improvised and put it in the sandwich and ate it.Overall food was good and the food came out fast. I was in and out and was able to get a good nights rest."
