"I didn't even know this existed! It is an actual brewery on Independence Square. Their menu (mostly different beers and a few drinks) is small. But I loved the friendly service and the space itself. It's wonderful for a band-which was why I was there. There's a hallway of art work, with an art studio. Down the hall from there is a window with the adjacent restaurant selling a large variety of flat breads. Again, more artwork. Then you see the barrels and the quaintly decorated bathroom doors. Really, it's worth it to see.I really like 3 Trails Brewery and will return."

Had to be some of the best tacos I've ever had. Well seasoned meat with a good ratio of meat, lettuce, and cheese. The only bad part was the taco sauce. It was a plain jane off the shelf taco sauce. A good spicy salsa would have got them five stars. Will definitely be going back, and maybe sneak my own salsa in."

"I LOVE Apogee. West Olathe was in desperate need of a place like this - we could use 3 more things like it. Apogee is the only coffee place in the area with what I consider "good vibes." I love the staff - especially Mallory, who is a ray of sunshine. Lots of friendly clientele, too. It is fun that it is connected to the rock climbing gym, so there are a lot of families, young people, etc. in and out all day. Apogee is more than coffee - it actually is a full restaurant, coffee shop, and full bar.I go to Apogee almost weekly during my work day to work for a couple of hours. It is the perfect working atmosphere if you like a little ambient noise in a comfortable environment. I always feel welcome here.The food is good - although it is a small menu. It's basically pizza and a few sandwiches. I do wish they had a bit more. My go to is the lunch special, which is a small personal pizza and side salad. If I'm there in the morning, I get their breakfast burrito, which is also very good.My one piece of constructive feedback - I think it'd be worth putting a menu board up above the bar. People hate QR code menus, and it is confusing to newcomers to not see a menu. Plus, it'd be cute!Definitely give Apogee a try. I waited longer than I otherwise would've because I thought it was going to be like a climbing gym snack bar, but it is much more than that. They sometimes do events and activities as well, such as trivia night. So glad to have Apogee here in Olathe"

The cocktails wasn't a cop out and felt like it was worth the money. The espresso martini was made with a fresh pull espresso that is the star of the drink. Not alcoholic at all which is scary. "We had the opportunity to visit the new Rec Deck addition for a Yelp Elite event and had a blast!!! First off the entertainment opportunities are endless; from the table shuffleboards, to the standing shuffleboards, to playing Foosball -- there is a ton of entertainment in one place! While visiting, we also had the opportunity to try the Creamy Cheesy Artichoke flatbread and the Charcuterie board -- both were excellent, but the flatbread was to DIE for! As for the beverages, I was recommended to try Bob's 47 Oktoberfest and the American Kolsch (since I am a fan of light beers) and both were delectable -- neither beer was super "hoppy" but both were packed with flavor. If you're not a big beer fan then they have other options as well, including their frozen Mai Tai which seemed to be a pretty big hit! I would highly recommend visiting the new Rec Deck -- I personally cannot wait to visit again and bring a few more friends along!"

Loved the fun seasonal cocktails as well! I ordered Buddy's Berry Mojito Mocktail. Got my entree I ordered the Halloween town birria pork sandwich. Yum! "We tried this place out because they allow in outside food. They had several long high top tables, a few low tops and couch seating options, and windows facing the street. The staff was nice and pretty reserved with not much small talk. The 10oz beer pours are a bit deceiving because the glass is only 1/2 full with 1/2 head. My picture shows the pour before drinking it. The beer and seltzer selection is really varied. I would suggest this place to meet with larger groups of friends because of the space and large drink variety. The vibe is pretty chill, mostly couples keeping to themselves."

"I ate here for dinner about 3 weeks ago. I ordered pick up so I wont speak on the venue or service since it was pretty "in and out" more or less. The food however was pretty darn good! I got the double order of steak and chicken fajitas. You get a tray of re-fried beans, spicy rice, sour cream and guacamole salad (2 in the double order) You get 2 bags of in house cooked tortilla chips, you get 2 rolls of 4 corn or flour tortillas (i got corn). You then get the main dish. 2 trays of chicken and steak cut into small strips with a good coating of Mexican spices and a light picante' sauce of some kind, nice kick to it. This also has a nice dose of peppers, onions mixed in with the meat mind you. Their salsa is traditional to which rocks! Leaves you close to a glass of water, put it that way.I made 2 more lunches with this in the days after what I had for dinner that night. $23 for the double order. Not a bad deal in my opinion. A legit Mexican restaurant in my opinion and I grade pretty hard on ethnic cuisine to so it takes some authenticity to get me to approve of what your serving me."

My friend I went with is also gluten sensitive and they didn't have enough options for her. Overall, service was fine and I'd like to give it another shot to see if the smell is what was so off putting to me."

"This is the best "elevated" Mexican food I have had. It is a cute little restaurant with a very intimate feel. I had the cornbread to start, the pollo asado and the suadero. The cornbread was dry and the hot honey butter it was served with was nothing special, would not order again. The pollo asado is a smoked half chicken and it was incredible. It was so juicy inside and had perfectly crunchy skin. The suadero was a generous portion of chopped brisket and is exactly what it tasted like. I wish that the suadero was served with a spicy sauce instead of a tomato, sweet sauce that made it taste more like bbq. The pickled onions that were served with it were incredible. I think the menu needs a staple side or two that we could have ordered, there are none right now. The caramelo tortillas are good, as always. The drinks were perfection."

"We were in town for a hockey tournament and our team manager gathered all the players and parents for an after game late lunch at Barley's.. It was literally walking distance from the hotel that we were staying so it's very easy to access.We entered the place and we were immediately directed to a large area. The ambiance inside is really nice, the feel of real sports bar can easily be distinguished. The server was very knowledgeable and catered to all our needs, apparently they are very well versed with a hockey team coming in for a big group dining. our server was very nice and very organized, he is the only one who handled everybody's order. We were 30 at a minimum so that was very impressive.Our order came in and it was served still hot, which is nice. The cheese curds with the dip is so god. I can't remember the last time I've had a fried cheese curds but these were really good. I asked for a list of their draft beers and the server said there are over 90, but suggested Yuengling.. so I got one and it's still very cold when served, felt like the glass was in a freezer.I ordered just the spicy chicken wrap and it's ok, nothing too special about it.. I like wraps because it's easy and clean to eat, nothing dripping like sandwiches or burgers. My wife ordered the Cuban sandwich and she liked the taste and the serving was really big, she can't finish all of 'em. My youngest ordered the alfredo pasta, and he liked it.. but was too sleepy to finish so we boxed it and ate it at dinner.The stay was nice overall and it was an easy 20% tip for our server for doing such a good job of keeping up with all of us who dined in."

Beach beach bitches!They're going to loudly play popular music on the speakers and Michael Jackson videos on the screens. You'll want to go here if there's a game being shown on the big screen. Someone will want to dance with you inside or out, and they host private parties on their deck. It can get very crowded. Sometimes they use blacklights, so if you wear a peacoat here in the winter you can surprisingly look like you were on the unfortunate side of a porn scene. Also at this bar be ready to ask yourself why everyone looks so young. It's because they are young, and you are not."
