"We ordered from Arizona for our daughter's graduation from Mizzu Vet School .We ordered sliced brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, Mac & Cheese, potato salad and all the fixings.Food was delivered on time and set-up perfectly. The food, service and experience were all wonderful along with the helpful staff!!!"
"A great spot to grab so bbq!Burnt ends: My husbands favorite- they were very flavorful, KC classic!Pulled pork: my favorite, so juicy and delicious!Turkey: really good as well, for a leaner meat out of the options it was fabulous, but I couldn't keep my fork out of the pulled pork. Cheese pizza: Order for the kids, and they enjoyed it! Love the versatility of this location. My kids ran outside for a bit after eating lunch, and we grabbed some Ice Cream from Old Mills on our way out."

"Great place to grab a Kansas City style barbecue before your flight. Spacious seating area. Delicious meats, and great cocktail and drink menu! I recommend their 2 meat choice combo: 3 ribs and brisket over Texas toast, with Mac n cheese (side choice) and biscuit!"
"Great food, no surprises. My wife likes her steak almost as black as charcoal and when it wasn't charred quite enough they took it back and grilled it more. Then two different managers came by to make sure she was happy with it. Great, quick service from Roger tonight. Everyone was cheerful and helpful ......and the bread was plentiful and fresh! Side salad was big also."
"Absolutely AMAZING dine-in experience! We enjoyed the burnt ends, pulled pork, brisket, and a half rack of ribs. The sides are also fantastic: potato salad, fries, Mac n cheese, and coleslaw. Definitely try all of the sauces, too! Thank you to our server Kendra for a great dinner and attentive service. We can't wait to come back!"
"Best BBQ in Kansas City, I've ever had!! So fresh and their sauce is delicious, not to sugary.. You must try!!"
"Update January 20,2024.Called ahead to make sure the Tavern was open tonight (bad weather this week-super cold) and they were thank goodness. We needed a rib fix! We were asked to reserve/preorder the # of ribs we wanted to pick up go figure cause when we got there the place was packed! Small town America Williamsburg Kansas was hoppin'! ! Glad we ordered ahead. Got home with our food and it was fantastic! Don't pay attention to the negative reviews. If you're not happy, just give them a chance to fix things before writing something up. They have been in business a long time for a reason......This is as Americana as you can get folks ! Pull off of I-35 when you are out their way and get ya some! While you're at it, you need a T Shirt too....."
"Quick 5-Star shout out to Barn-B-Que!!We were in town visiting and met family here for breakfast, it was fantastic!! Everything from the service to the food to the ambiance. Can't wait to come back and try some more of the delicious items on the menu.Definitely want to try it in warmer weather when we can take full advantage of that wonderful outdoor seating area! The brisket was so moist and juicy, packed full of flavor. Try the brisket tacos if you are there for breakfast, we're still dreaming of those! Just a quick 5-star drop... I will definitely update this review after our next visit, because we know we'll be back!Thank you!!"
"I'm at the Wellington, KS location: couldn't find it on Yelp- this particular locations food and staff is pretty amazing! Loved the loaded tater with pulled pork and side of baked beans!!!"
"Chili cheeseburger was solid. All family members enjoyed their meals. Simple but good quality and delicious. You can add lettuce and tomato to any burger or an extra patty. Some of the single burgers can be smaller so load up if you are hungry!"
"I liked the $2 pizza by the slice option and the friendly service at this new restaurant. The Grandview triangle special ($8.00) included choice of salad, a slice of pepperoni or beef pizza and a drink. The Greek salad was nicely sized in an 8" x 8" box with fresh veggies and a tasty dressing, while the 6" x 6" pepperoni pizza slice was smaller than the slices at some other pizza by the slice places but had a generous amount of toppings, tasty cheese and a flavorful sauce on a thin, somewhat crunchy, somewhat chewy, perfectly cooked crust. The slice was delicious without being greasy - nice! The clean and nice dining area included several TVs, caribbean music, and a lengthy bar (with liquor license coming soon).Overall, very nice!"
"A restaurant that isn't good all the time isn't worth going back to. We went at their opening on an evening and the food was excellent. My husband ordered brisket and slaw; I ordered a pulled-pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. Everything was very good except we didn't care for the sweet corn muffin. Bragging, we took our mom to eat there at the lunch hour a week later. There weren't many people, almost empty. The menu was identical to the night menu so for the same price we got meat that was so dry (brisket and roast chicken) it was clearly yesterday's meat. The slaw overly creamy, nothing was the same. He got bread; I didn't. We won't make the same mistake in going again. Don't waste your money at The Ranch KC. It was a big disappointment today."

I finally tried COMO Smoke and fire! How freaking delicious it was!? I ordered online and picked up within 20 minutes. Easy pickup. They did forget my drink, but no worries I went back for it. A couple of things to note is the portion size for the sides is extremely small for the price. It was $3.50 for less than a cup of Mac n cheese (I measured). The Mac n cheese was delicious but I ate it in maybe 4 bites. Since I did pick up, it wasn't warm and it wasn't very saucy anymore. What I ordered:Main entree, Pulled pork sandwich 5/5- good amount of meat, delicious with the sauces. I had the mustard bbq and sweet bbq with it and loved every bite. It came with pickles and onions which were a good touch. Every bite was delicious and it was a good amount of sandwich!Baked beans, 2/5I was very sad about these. I was expecting something a long the lines of honey baked beans. That's my fault though. I still didn't enjoy them, they weren't to my tastebud's liking. It wasn't gross but wasn't yummy.Mac n cheese, taste was 5/5 but portion with price is 1/5- delicious velveeta- like goodness. I could eat a bucket of this. Wish I could taste it fresher but the pools of cheese in the shell was so yum!Cant wait to try more of the menu. The place seemed super clean!

Quentin's BBQ was an "oh yeah" for me! The smoked meats were flavorful and sides were good too. Great location as well in the Olde Mill property. There is also a brewery, bar/coffee shop and ice cream shop at the same location.

Worst food ever. Dry, burnt and chip were over cooked. The waiter was really nice though.

The ambiance is great and the service is good. This is definitely a great ambience for watching games. It's very clean, especially for a BBQ place. In comparison to some of the other BBQ heavy hitters in KC the food is definitely a little over priced for the amount, but such are the times we are in. What felt weird was the sides. If you don't want slaw, beans, or jalapeños then be prepared for up charges ranging $1-$4 on things like fries or Mac. Oh and don't ask for honey mustard for fries, they don't have it. My 2 meat combo came with only 3 pieces of burnt ends which was definitely a let down but at least the pulled pork was a good sized portion. I would definitely recommend the pulled pork over the burnt ends.

Pulled up last minute before closing and glad we did! I ordered the smoked chicken wings with fries and my husband ordered the Philly steak. The flavor in the food is AMAZING! And the sauce is definitely full of flavor! Found my new bbq spot!

Barn-B-Que was an amazing experience. I really don't know what to say. The food was amazing, the prices reasonable. Their nachos were absolutely to die for and their service was great! If you're looking for a cheaper place to eat down at Osage Beach with massive portions, fantastic food, and a great atmosphere then you should definitely check this place out!(Their brisket dip sandwich and their French fries were SO good!)

"Great food with wonderful service! I had the Pitchfork Melt with the homemade chips. Loved it! My husband had the Smoked Meat Salad with their brisket. He thought is was very good - and filling!Definitely give this place a try - you won't be disappointed!"
"Like everywhere in town all the employees were extremely friendly. Walked in and the smell of BBQ wafted into our nostrils. Was a lot of people waiting on a Friday night but was only about 20 minutes to be seated. I noticed after they take reservations on Open Table.Pretty much everybody at the table got the burnt ends and sausage combo. I got bbq beans and steamed veggies for my sides. Didn't notice the grilled veggie choice until I saw my wife's. Get the grilled veggies. They're grilled over wood and soak up the flavor. My steamed veggies were sad in comparison. The beef brisket burnt ends were awesome and had a delicious seasoning bark. My wife's pork burnt ends were equally good. The sausage was ok but looked like a giant summer sausage. Odd texture vs what I am used to so wasn't my favorite. We also shared fried mushrooms which were some of the best I've had.If you're craving BBQ when in Blue Springs, MO this is your place!"
"It was so good! It made converts out of my kids. Loved by all! Took it up in mother in-laws for Mother's Day and she made us leave the brisket with her! We will be back!"
"Looks small and tucked away from the outside, but worth making a stop! We came here with a group of us so we made reservations ahead of time. We were glad we did because it was fairly busy since it was a Saturday night. My friend and I shared the brisket and the burnt ends mac n cheese. The burnt ends Mac n cheese was EVERYTHING. Definitely recommend this. Our server was also super sweet and very on top of it. All of our food came our great and everyone was happy!"
"Good Barbecue. Unexpected but pleasant - never would I have stopped in without YelpGreat burnt ends"
"Fantastic food truck! They really do amazing BBQ and have great specials!! And support a small business!! Can't miss with Bull Creek!!"
"The floors are slippery and the barbecue is great. What more can I say? Easily hopped to the top of my list for BBQ."
"Tried the burnt ends sandwich last week. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. Today, tried the smoked chicken wings with garlic Parmesan sauce. These were the best, smoked wings I have ever had. Definitely worth the money. The food was at our table quickly and the waitstaff is very friendly. They also offer an all you can eat pizza and salad buffet for lunch for $10! Open on Sunday's which is a huge deal for a small town! You won't be disappointed!"
"My husband and I returned to the Bob-Be-Que Shack for an anniversary dinner, and we had a great meal!Sherry was once again our waitress, and once again went over and above. When I asked about vinegar for my spinach greens, she went to the pantry and found some apple cider vinegar for me. How sweet! She guided us through the menu (we were there early in the evening, and lunch was being served, along with dinner options, until 5 pm) and came back to check on us frequently. She was friendly and welcoming and made sure we enjoyed our meals. The food was DELICIOUS! I had the pulled pork Po' Boy sandwich, perfectly put together with coleslaw on the hoagie bun, and a side order of spinach greens, equally tasty. My husband had the burnt ends lunch special, which was yummy; he only wished the portion of meat was a little larger. He'll know next time to order the dinner portion.R. J.'s is cozy and hospitable, and we had a lovely time. Thank you for making our anniversary special!"
"Great mushrooms! Delicious hickory smoked ribs. Smoked sausage was over the top. Oh...the burnt ends..."
"I had driven by this place several times when I'm in the area for work related business and I had told myself that I was going to check it out. Today provided me the time to be able to stop in. First of all this is a very unique place to get something to eat. It is a barbecue spot located on a airport strip. I don't fly and planes therefore being anywhere near an airplane is something I've never done, so this spot really caught my interest. First of all this is the Miami County airport which means it's very small. I doubt any commercial flights go out of here just personal small planes. With that being said it's very easy to find you'll see the signs letting you know that you're reaching the airport and that the barbecue spot is there when you make the turn onto the street you'll see the barbecue place straightahead so you can't miss itThe outside of the building there's a little loved and could use probably a little more sparkle, but that's if sparkle is what they really want to portray. When I arrived I was unaware of their hours. They have a breakfast time and then they close momentarily to open for the lunch crowd. If you're not from that area, which I am not it can kind of confuse you. I had to sit in my car and wait for them to open because I arrived between their breakfast and lunch crowd. As soon as you walk in your eyes are taken into so many different directions. To the right you see all of their different types of barbecue sauce is to the left you see all of their memorabilia with the Chiefs and through the years of their business. Apparently this is a family run business and they're very well known in the community there's even a picture hanging on the wall where they had a chopper that they rode at the White House. So there's a lot of history that you can see while waiting for your food to be prepared. I will say, I only had one person wait on me and it was an older Lady. I think my presence kind of threw her off a little bit because I really don't think a lot of African-Americans patronize this business not for any other reason except that they probably don't know it's there, I mean come on the only way I found it was I drove by it. So she seemed a little taken aback by my presence but she was very nice and cordial to me despite that. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger their homemade potato salad and a drink. I normally would've tried their barbecue, however I was on a time crunch and barbecue may have taken longer than I had to wait for it to be prepared. It did take a little while for my food to be ready, but nothing out of the ordinary. When I saw the burger I was very surprised at how big it was and it tasted OK it could've used a little more flavor but for a bacon burger it was not bad at all, it was pretty good. I will definitely come back and try the barbecue if I'm ever in the area. And one real cool thing about this place that I didn't get to take a picture of because of my time constraint, is that the restaurant faces the tarmac of the airport. So while you eat your barbecue you can look out and see the planes and it's really cool... especially considering that that's probably the closest I'll ever get to an airplane...lol"
"I've been meaning to write a review for a while on this gem of a place. My husband and I go here at least once a week. Even asked them cater our wedding. It's hands down the best place to eat in Oak Grove. I love everything I get from here.. best fried tacos, fajitas Vallarta, burrito Azteca, also my new found love of Birria tacos!! Not to mention, the bbq is also fantastic. They nail both Mexican and BBQ so well. The Santa Fe burger is delicious and is served with a side of queso.YUM The turkey, and pork is also a fav to get to go when you have a group to feed at home. Not only is the food the best in town but so is the staff. Antonio, Naomi, and Maria... everyone there is always so wonderful to us!! The service is always top notch, along with the food, cold beer, and coronaritas! It's no secret.. we love Moocho!!"
"Delicious, filling food. I had a baked potato piled high with brisket and Mac & cheese. It was HUGE and so delicious. The owners were extremely friendly and such a joy to talk with. Easy to miss spot, but worth your time to stop by."
"The restaurant has a lot of seating, TVs and bright light shining through the windows. We got a table quickly and scanned the QR code for the menu. We were looking for kid's choices but there weren't any shown. The waiter told us they do have popcorn chicken available for the kiddos, just not listed on the menu (not sure why?). We ordered directly with the waiter and the food took a short time. I would say the portions were not great and the food was fine except for the really yummy white cheddar Mac & cheese. For our next trip to MCI, we will try the other bbq choices in the terminal before coming back here."
"Everything about bout Pork's was great, the service, the food and the ambience. The only thing I wish I could change was the Cole slaw was a little too sweet for me but it was still good."
"Came for the lamb chop special and it didn't disappoint at all. The young ladies on staff that night worked well as a team, were prompt and very helpful."
"I finally had the chance to visit Wolfpack BBQ, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the aromas of smoky, delicious meats wafting through the air. They boast an impressive selection of high-quality meats, all sourced from local providers, which really enhances the flavor and freshness of every dish. The menu features a variety of mouthwatering options, from tender brisket to juicy ribs, each cooked to perfection and infused with their signature spices. The sides are just as noteworthy, with choices like creamy coleslaw, buttery corn on the cob, and perfectly seasoned baked beans that complement the main courses beautifully. As for the service, I found it quite commendable, especially given how busy the restaurant was during my visit. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure that our orders were taken promptly and checking in on us throughout our meal. Moreover, the restaurant has plenty of seating available, accommodating everything from intimate dinners for two to larger gatherings with friends or family. Overall, Wolfpack BBQ is a fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic barbecue with a local twist!"
"Delicious food!Best bbq ever. Only bad thing is that now I am stuffed and need a nap."
"Good food, good service. Very friendly staff. Took a drive from Eureka and wasn't disappointed. Will be back. We tried the chicken and brisket. Both were very good."
"The food was amazing. The service? Not so much. We ordered the big 4-6 people meal, the Q Champion Meat Platter with corn and beans. We got a lot of specialty drinks (alcoholic and mocktail) they were all a delight. We ordered desserts. All of our food was amazing and the people that bright out our food was amazing. But our actual server? Not so much . Maybe she was having an off day but every time she left us we were not sure when we were going to see her again. It wasn't very busy when we came in and not super busy by the time we left so I don't know what the deal was. Other than that it was an amazing experience."
"Hickory Log is under new management! The menu is small but you will leave full. Give the new owners, The Wells, a try. You will not be sorry."
"Delicious and so much to choose from! I love that they have different combo meals and plates you can decide upon. I shared the burnt end combo and you got one other choice of meat (we chose brisket!) and two sides (cheesy corn was so cheesy!) I would say the sandwich combos are decent sized too!! Had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day for cheap! They had two outside area! One covered up too and one fully covered outside patio. Which I loved for the nice day it was. The smell of the bbq cooking was the best haha! The employees there were so nice and helpful, it started to get busy when we got there and they were so patient with us since we had never been in before. Overall will be going back for the amazing bbq and maybe to watch a chiefs game on the patio!!"
"Dropped into JQ's for lunch today for the first time. I knew it was going to be delicious when I saw how small it was. Just a little "dive" is what I like to call it; these places always have the best food!! When we walked in we were greeted by a girl behind the counter who asked if it was our first time in. HUGE plus on service there. She gave us some suggestions and told us we could sit wherever. We ordered at the window. Service was extremely quick and tentative. The fat boy bacon cheeseburger was made with ground briquet and HUGE! It came out piping hot with melted cheese and fresh crispy bacon. Delicious and juicy. The fries were hot and also very crisp and tasty. The wings were smoked and tossed in dat honey sauce. They were in fact jumbo wings. The wings were not my favorite, although I think it may have been the sauce. I would try them again with another sauce."
