"I popped into this spot for a quick lunch one day. This place was packed!!! And still got my delicious bowl of ramen (MISO) to me straight away. It was so delicious.I have been to a few of these little ramen shops and they are designed pretty similar. I can't say that it is a comfortable place to go eat and that is because it is not what they are designed for. They are functional and quick. The food is VERY good. So stop in here for that quick bite. Also definitely want to recommend the appetizers and small plates!"
"Not in my neighborhood but we were nearby and this seemed to be the perfect spot for takeout. It had been nearly a decade since I had it, so I was going in blind here but it was really good overall!I'm a huge fan of Thai curries, especially during the colder winter months and this landed for me. I opted for green curry with tofu and it was flavorful, spicy, loaded with veggies, and all around pretty perfect. My wife got yellow curry and something was just a bit off. It somehow had a lot of spice up front but very little flavor. The essence of it was there, but it just didn't taste as good as a yellow curry typically should. We also got chicken satays for the kids which they didn't touch, but I enjoyed the next day. Well-seasoned and good quality chicken, and while there are some aromatic spices on it, it's certainly not spicy so many kids would enjoy this. We got mango sticky rice as well which was good, although it was practically glued together. We had to eat it with a steak knife sawing off bites, but the flavor was excellent. All in all, a nice spot. The prices were very fair for the quality and quantity of food, and I'd recommend this as a good spot to check out."

"This is some solid sushi!!!! One of the best I've had in Kansas City. Rolls are made THICK and they have so many unique rolls that are worth trying. I've tried several and haven't had a bad one yet. Rolls worth mentioning : BMW, Friends Roll, Kansas Roll"
"My sister and I came here for a girls night out. She kept saying she wanted sushi so we decided to set a reservation and go here. I only like Tempura sushi. I'm not into Sashimi. We walked in and it's a pretty small place. You wouldn't get that from the website. They have two private rooms up front and then in the middle is the rest of the seating. We were seated immediately thanks to the reservation. It was packed in there so I'm glad we did that. For drinks, we both ordered Arnold Palmers. Wasn't in a drinking mood but they had a wide selection of alcohol including Saki. For appetizers, we ordered the Tempura Calamari and the Garlic Shrimp. Both were delicious! I've had Calamari fries before but never Tempura. So good. The sauce for the shrimp was very good. For meals, I ordered the Crazy Lobster Roll and the Rainbow Roll. My sister had the 5041 Roll and the Spicy Tempura Roll. . All the rolls were delicious I'm going to assume. I didn't try the 5041 Roll because it was Sashimi. The place is loud but you'd expect that because it's small. The vibe was awesome. So glad we went. If you like sushi and want a nice vibe, check them out."
"The food is always amazing, hot and fresh at this spot. It's a staple when friends come into town. It's a quick order yourself and sit down inside."
"Food was delicious, the restaurant was cozy but felt upscale. Server was super friendly and attentive. The curry is flavorful and lovely."
"We absolutely love this place. We drive in from Gardner just to eat here. The service is always fantastic. Restaurant is nice and clean. And the food is top notch. I ALWAYS get the mint beef salad. My absolute favorite. The family usually sticks with the shrimp pad Thai. Also delicious every time. And we cannot stop here without getting an order of their fresh spring rolls. A little different each time. But always fresh and delicious. This place is an absolute gem. I hope the residents near by realize how lucky they are to have KC Thai!"
"This isn't a place I go often, but it's a neat concept and one of the nicer places in the area. The food is good, and the service is always good. It's a great place for a date night and a unique foodie experience! Will be back!"
"I found this place 2 years ago as a quick lunch with a friend who is pescatarian . We definitely found a gem because we've been coming here ever since. Their lunch specials are pretty reasonable and you get a lot of food. Brought my daughter for dinner tonight and she loved it. We recommend the caterpillar roll and the spider roll."
"Food is very delicious, hot, and fresh.Service: staff is kind and willing to answer any questions.Ambience: not too crowded and not empty plus it was very chill."
"A charming restaurant in the heart of Mission with fresh ingredients, outstanding customer service, and excellent food. It's not just for sushi, despite the name. Sushi Karma has an extensive menu featuring all varieties of Asian delights. A must try in Mission!"
"Easily some of the best Chinese food in the area.Don't let the sketch exterior (or interior) deter you. Service is always quick and friendly. The food is amazinggggggggg"

We came in early around 11 and it was mostly empty. They had very quick service and were also very friendly. I started with the Gyoza which was very good. It was soft, warm and full of flavor. Then I got a ramen bowl with chicken broth, garlic, and green onions. It was very hearty, and soothing. I really enjoyed it.

The food here is delicious always hot, made fresh. The waitress was great always kind and on top of refilling our drinks, taking away our dishes when we were done. The atmosphere was nice it was a bit loud but we have been here before and it was calm quite and peaceful, so if it is a bit full in the restaurant it can get a bit loud from the others chatting, however it didn't seem to bother anyone;)

Best sushi in town!I recommend the 5041 Roll and the Spicy Temptation Roll. They also have excellent ika sansai (squid salad) and cucumber salad. The staff is mostly people who have been there for a long time, including the waiters Tat and Jerry.

Love it! Go for the Pho and the pot stickers. I like their Pad Thai as well! It is in a cute little area which we can walk to from our place which makes us more frequent visitors! We usually stop by Blessing Abound and World Market across the street after we are done, so a convenient location. Highly recommend!

[To-go experience]Online menu was excellent and easy to read. Ordering was simple enough. It was ready pretty quickly. Unfortunately, when our food arrived, while the flavors were good (and spicier than Thai food typically comes - yes even for Thai food!!), it was all a bit dry and overcooked. The noodles just fell apart - but the GF calamari my friend ordered was a favorite!I've been told by locals that our experience was not typical of ZenZeros quality. I hope so!

A friend asked me to meet her here for lunch. She comes often and knows I enjoy Thai food. I ordered chicken pad Thai, the lunch sized portion was $12.95 and was enough to make a meal without leftovers. I asked for medium and it was pleasantly spicy. Fresh, hot, well sauced, I was very satisfied!I would have liked to be able to pay a few dollars to add a cup of soup, or a side salad. My friend chose the appetizer platter which I think was about $15. It wasn't enough to make a meal of, but would be a nice sampler for two as a dinner date appetizer. The presentation was beautiful.Service was attentive and out water never ran dry.

My family and I love Yakiniku (which means grilled meat) Japanese style. We lived in Japan for 3 years and and it became a tradition where we would go eat Yakiniku for dinner on birthdays. For our daughters bday she wanted a taste of Japan so we went to Gyu Kaku. Although this is a chain Japanese restaurant. The quality of food and service did not disappoint. I've had Gyu-Kaku in Hawaii...I saw it in Japan but preferred the mom and pop restaurants over the chains. But this place gave us the Japanese fix that we longed missed. Definitely recommend for large and small groups/families. Great selection of food, menu is located on their website. I made a reservation the day before and had 0 issues upon arrival. I recommend making a reservation to avoid a longer wait.

"Always great service with a smile. Have a nice outdoor space wand both indoors and outdoor seating provide great ambiance. The food is always quality ingredients and freshly made. Every time I come to KC, this is a must for a healthy meal full of flavor. Tom Yum and Tom Gai cup portions are a nice supplement to any dish. Everything is fresh fresh fresh! I've had both chicken and tofu lettuce wraps and both are equally delicious.Keep up the great quality and service Lulu! Please come to StL!!"
"Outstanding small Thai restaurant up at the Lenexa/Shawnee line serving up big flavor and fresh food! Whether you are staying in or getting your order to go, the food is made to your liking and everything I've had has been just right.I love Thai food and I almost always judge a spot's Pad Thai first. I figure that if the Pad Thai is a good, then most everything has a shot at greatness. Lanna's Pad Thai is right on target, blending all the right profiles with noodles and protein. We have ordered the Crab Rangoon, crispy wontons with a sweet heat sauce, the spring rolls, and more. Each dish is executed very well and is brimming with flavor. The spice level varies a bit, and medium, for me, usually is enough heat. Lanna Thai spices their food well, not overpowering (unless that's your thing), and the spice complements the dishes instead of dominating them. The Drunken Noodles are another hit, fresh & crispy veggies with the glass noodles in a savory & spicy sauce. Lanna is easy to find and the dining area is small but very well-appointed. Great service, LOTS of to-go activity, and pricing is very fair. The value probably outpaces the price as the food is really good and the flavors will have you back again."
"We were visiting Lawrence briefly, and my daughter loves Asian cuisine, so we searched Yelp and gave this restaurant a try. It did not disappoint. If we are ever in town again, we will definitely go back."
"A no-brainer 5 star. Bibibop always delivers. Go through the line and fill up your bowl, starting with a hearty base, then the fresh proteins, and a variety of exciting toppings. The staff are always so nice and usually load your bowl up pretty well. The menu is constantly updated to provide new flavors for the customers, but the staples are always around and they rock! Not a huge restaurant, but it's always got a good vibe inside. Asian food is my favorite and my dad is about as picky as anyone I know, but we both love this place. There is a combination for everyone to enjoy. Simply made food with an emphasis on health and flavor - a combination that's tough to beat!"
"Healthy food with plenty of tasty options served by a friendly staff behind a counter. Yummy delicious :-)We frequent this Bibibop location in particular because we lean more towards a keto diet. For about $15 a person, you get a filling meal with plenty of protein and fresh vegetables. The staff is always helpful with figuring out the different options, and suggesting sauces or new proteins to try. You can change the meal up enough to get plenty of variety. I like to turn a meal into two meals by buying a protein side, and combining it with the meal. Then splitting it in half and storing the second half in the fridge for the next day. Love this place! Eat here."
"This Chinese buffet is our top choice because they expertly prepare small, fresh batches of food. Their Mongolian Grill and made-to-order sushi rolls are top-notch, and they consistently offer high-quality buffet fare."
"Everything tasted great. The soup is the best around. It's simple & doesn't include tofu chunks or corn or anything else weird. Beef was sliced thin and was so tender, not chewy at all. Yu Xiang Chicken was cooked perfectly but wish I had known it had water chestnuts, not a fan. Luckily they're the big pieces so it was easy to pick them out."
"I stopped by to try some Sushi at Hokibar... this place is so good. The atmosphere was excellent. Service was spot on and our food was amazing."
"Tried this restaurant based on positive reviews from a couple of friends.I we had crab wontons for an appetizer which were great and I ordered orange chicken for my entree. It was probably the best orange chicken I ever had and the portion was big enough that I had left overs for lunch the next day."
"My husband and son love this place. They order carryout at least once a month from here. The crab wontons are a favorite of theirs. They say that their orders are always cooked fresh and taste phenomenally good. They order combination fried rice, page chicken, and sushi."
"When my wife had surgery she wanted to go here for comfort food. The phrase goes, don't judge a book by its cover. Don't judge the food by its presentation. Quite a few dishes are a thing of beauty, but if you see a popular dish and wonder why anyone would eat it... it's because the flavor overshadows all else.Service has been great for us. They have a great attention to detail. Sometimes there is a wait to get something as they are very busy, but the food is made fresh... unlike fast food where you don't wait. The ambiance does a great job reminding you of the Philippines.Give it a try. Great winter food: regular dishes warm you to the core. Great summer snacks: halo halo is amazing."
"What a hidden gem. My friend and I decided to dine in on a whim. There is very limited seating so it's better for small groups, four max. We were told that a lot of people choose to-go or pick up, rather than dine in. The room is bright and the menu looks really delicious. I wanted to try everything! The Mee Ka Tii was so delicious. The pork was the most tender I've had in a soup and cooked perfectly. My friend got the Boat Noodles and raved about. Loved all the rich flavors. We will be back for sure. Loved this little place."
"The best seafood Pho I've ever had. Egg drop soup was fire as well! I'll definitely be back."
"Stopped on our way through on Christmas Day. Everything was fresh and hot. Crab Rangoon was exceptional!! The honey walnut shrimp I expected to have a sauce of some sort. I appreciated them being open. Front desk person was pretty curt to customers, talked so fast was impossible to understand, and was not very nice to the fireman that came in wanting to split checks (my guess is big order for crew on shift Christmas Day). Bathroom was clean, food was hot, crab Rangoon was amazing, front desk kid - not amazing."
"This restaurant is in the same strip mall in East Lawrence as the Set 'em Up Jack's sports bar and the Cascada La Golondrina Mexican Restaurant. Moriki Sushi is a surprise, much better than we had anticipated. The food is excellent, the dining room very nice, and the background music pleasant. The dining room has three booths along the windows and comfortable tables of different size throughout the attractive room. There also is a sushi bar. We sat at a booth, and the service was excellent. They have Sapporo beer, hot sake, and three choices of cold saki, including the excellent Momokawa saki. We got the hot sake with our appetizers and a bottle of Momokawa cold, dry sake with the sushi. We finished only half the bottle and took the rest home. They also have two other smaller bottles of cold sake, one sweet and the other sparkling. We will probably try the sparkling one next time. At present, they do not have regular grape wine, but might in the future. For appetizers, we tried the Hiyayakko tofu, the iron egg, spring rolls, and the smoked salmon sashimi. All four were absolutely excellent! We were very impressed. We also got the miso soup, which was fine but not outstanding. We usually like to add a little hot sauce to miso soup, so we asked for hot sauce. We were brought an excessively large bowl of Sriracha. An upcharge for hot sauce is rather unusual, but we were charged 50 cents for the unnecessarily large bowl of sriracha. Next time we will not ask for hot sauce, since we found the upcharge to be rather annoying, although trivial. For sushi, we got the Las Vegas Roll and the Philadelphia Roll. They were very good, although they have only white sushi rice. We usually prefer brown or black rice, but they do not have them.We would suggest that they make available a regular grape wine (at least a chardonnay white wine) and brown or black rice and drop the upcharge for hot sauce."
"Great selection of Asian dishes. Fresh sushi, good flavor and presentation. Very enjoyable lunch stop"
"Ordered on Doordash, food came hot!! Got the scallion oil chicken noodles, they were packed with flavor and it came with a lot."
"This place is incredible. We had two parties last Christmas and they catered both. The food was excellent. Blake was incredibly professional. He offered different food options for each party. Food was delicious. Blake and his team set and and tore down. I was so impressed I went to his home site and ordered a turkey panini and it was hands down incredible. I love the fact that Robby's Cheesecake is in same location and they are a 5 Star desserts!"
