We didn't find the one stray hair that could happen anywhere we found 4 hairs clumped together in a bite my husband had to dig them out of his mouth it was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. It's hard to see them against the napkin but they are there strand after strand. Horrible. Will absolutely never eat there ever again. I wouldn't recommend anyone to.

Y'all, I saw a post on instagram about the burritos here. I'm so glad I came. The burrito Juarez was delicious and spicy and the barbacoa tacos were DELICIOUS. The service was also excellent. I'll be coming back here again for sure.

The food is delicious but the cooks need to wear a hairnet!!!!! This is the second time I've found hair in my food!! I chopped it up to a one off the first time because this place is good but not this go around. I know it's hard to see in the picture.

Finally got to this stop on the taco trail. They were adding some finishing touches to the new patio deck when I arrived. Was surprised to see the inside completely renovated. Fresh paint, decor, and seating makes the place feel brand new. Very clean. One employee was regularly wiping down tables. New menu with updated pricing. Order from the right side then pay at the register at the left side of the counter. They take credit card payments (including discover) and cash tips. I ordered a Platillo, but everyone else seemed to have a burrito or quesadilla. Business was steady on a Saturday late morning, but it wasn't too crowded. There's plenty of seating available. I tried the carne Asada and the puerco roco. Both were tasty, but I liked the pork a little better. Instead of big chunks like I'm used to, it was small diced potatoes and pork. The rice and beans were okay. Good, not great. For this reason, I'd probably lean to a burrito or quesadilla next time. The burrito is cheaper and the flavorful meat would help when combined with the beans and rice. The Platillo is probably big enough for two. Especially if you choose flour tortillas. I was given two burrito-size tortillas. I had leftovers. They have a spicy red salsa and milder green salsa. They are the Michoacán style creamy salsas. Very good. I'd be happy to eat here again. It's much nicer on the inside then you would guess from outside.I parked in the lot directly across 14th street. Signs say no parking, but I everyone else in the lot also seemed to be walking across to Burritos La Chiquita.

Food: We ALWAYS order the quesadilla flaco. It seems like a simple meal, but everything put together (+ the sauce) is just *chefs kiss*. The regular burritos are okay, but I would definitely recommend the quesadilla flaco.

Burritos la Chiquita was stop #50 and the culmination for me completing the KCK Taco Trail. I hadn't planned for it to be the last, but because of short hours, not open on weekends and closing for vacation; it took several attempts for them to finally be open when I tried to visit. The space is large, but they have all the seating roped off due to Covid. I respect their decision, but with the large dining area they could easily have several tables properly distanced and maintain more than enough space to comply with health mandates. They have even removed the seating for the outside tables on the deck. A bit of overkill on this decision. My two asada tacos were good, I liked the avocado slice and drizzle of crema and the meat was done well. It did however give me a backache from trying to eat them while standing and bending over a low top patio table.Overall - not a standout in this year long challenge. A very anti-climactic way to end such a fun experience.
