My husband and I used to eat here every single weekend. we moved away 10 years ago and every single time we came back to visit it was our first stop we always raved about how amazing the food was to friends It looks like at some point new owners took over and the quality went to crap, they charge for things that the original owners never ever charged for, they don't provide chips anymore with the bowl, the rice recipe changed completely and was hard and old, it was always spotless this time was gross and not clean.... I'm afraid the new owners have ruined something that we treasured... it's not the same and lost its flavor.... I no longer recommend this location at all and sadly this will be our last experience

816 Day Scavenger Hunt Stop Tasty taco bursting with flavors and textures. Loved the addition of the sweet and mild corn salsa. Beware, hot means hot! The second to hottest salsa had my mouth tingling but was delicious. I always add jalapeños. However, they weren't necessary because the spice level was there! Great selection of meats and toppings and an affordable price for under $3 a taco. The chicken was tender and tasted of slight char. It seemed to be grilled fresh. Which isn't the case at some taquerias. The service was fast and friendly, I'm so surprised I have never stopped by this place since it's conveniently located right in the heart of the river market now, I'll be adding it to my rotation of favorites!

I was craving chipotle today and decided to finally give this spot a spin! It did not disappoint. I wasn't even sure where to start, and the worker at the counter was patient and offered suggestions and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Service was prompt, portions were huge, and my bowl came with chips! The queso was extra but was worth it because it was delicious. A small space that's easy to miss but worth stopping in for delicious fast casual food.

A good, fast, affordable burrito place in City Market. I recently went here and got a chicken burrito which had a good amount of delicious, perfectly cooked and season chicken with a solid ratio of meat to rice and beans. I would note that some toppings cost extra but they don't let you know (e.g., onions, guacamole). Burrito Bros also does not mess around with the spice level-I have a high spice tolerance and got the salsa with ghost peppers and could not finish my burrito because of the spice level. I downed two bottles of water and a peach to cope with the spice and was struggling.If you're craving a burrito in Kansas City, I recommend Burrito Bros.

The better, friendlier chipotle. Fast service, generous servings, and fresh ingredients. Plus free tortilla chips if you ask for em. Tons of seating options around the market to enjoy your food.

You're telling me I could have been eating burrito bowls this good in River Market instead of driving to the nearest Chipotle or Qdoba?? I love supporting local when I can, so this is going to be my go-to spot now. My online order burrito bowl was made with lightning speed - literally ready for pick-up in 5 minutes. The portions are huge! Tons of the toppings are included with the bowl price, but it's worth it to splurge for the guac. delicious! This place checks all the boxes. I love that you get a bag of chips and salsa included with your entree. They periodically have deals on tacos so keep your eyes on their social media!

A great little place for tacos, burritos, and burrito bowls! Love the Street Tacos! 3 for $6 on Tuesdays!

Perfect Mexican food - abundant portion sizes, excellent taste, and top notch service.

This food was very good and very filling - Didn't know if I had it in me to finish my second taco! Workers were very nice and options were easy to read and find. Would be great to eat outside with nice weather but was also nice there's heaters for chillier days like today! Would come back.

Finally tried Burrito Bros after walking by it numerous times throughout our visits to River Market. The food here always sounds good and smells good when you walk by. The menu has a pretty good selection and you can do veggie options too. I had the street tacos and tried three different protein options. The tacos were done relatively quickly and look delicious. The gal definitely added way too many raw onions. The tacos were better than I expected and their hot sauce had a ton of flavor. I did get a piece of plastic wrap in one of my tacos which came from the protein that was in the taco. I can't say this really bothered me because this kind of stuff can happen easily but still not a great thing when you are a public restaurant. The veggie burrito we got was really good and actually had a ton of flavor.It was nice we could eat out in the main walkway area during a cold December day due to the garage doors being closed and the heaters being on. My last comment, some of the staff were noticeably not super friendly but I suppose that is what it is.
